"Von?" Taina said, looking at her boyfriend at the door.

Chanel's head shot up at the sound of Taina's voice. Mia peeped it but didn't say anything.

"You not happy to see me?" Von asked as he walked towards Taina who was now standing up.

"I am," She said hesitantly. She hadn't spoken to Von in a while and assumed he wasn't coming. Maybe he was trying to work on their relationship.

"I'm sorry, guys this is Von," she introduced him to the group, even though Naala and Mia already knew him.

"I hope I haven't missed much," Von joked wrapping his arms around Taina's waist. She smiled awkwardly, confused at his sudden show of affection.

"No you're right on time," Naala said breaking the awkward silence, everyone was shocked by Von's sudden appearance.

"The table is booked for 8pm y'all, a car will be outside at 7:30," Naala said, Chanel rolled her eyes, she didn't want to go anywhere with them.

"Perfect," Mia smiled before dragging Ace back towards their room. Naala and Dave took that as their cue to also go back to their room. Mama Sonia had already gone back to her room for a nap when she was actually going to call Ernie. Chanel was the only one that stayed seated in the living room, scrolling aimlessly on her phone.

Taina turned around and looked at Von,

"What are you doing," She squinted at him, "You can't just pop up here,"

"I was invited wasn't I?" He smirked, playing with her hair.

"Whatever Von, just stay out of my way," Taina said attempting to walk away from him, he grabbed her arm and pulled her towards him.

"I came to fix this relationship T, I messed up bad but I'm sorry. I never meant to hurt you, that's the last thing I would want to do is hurt you - your my forever love," he spoke sincerely. That was their thing, they always thought their love was forever.

Chanel scoffed under her breath, she couldn't listen to him lie anymore. She got up quickly and stormed out of the living room. Taina's back was to her so only Von say her leave the room. He shot her a dirty look and looked back down at Taina who was looking at the floor.

"I can't get hurt again," she mumbled, looking at her white polished feet.

Von ducked his head down and lifted her head up,

"I ain't gon' hurt you again mama, I promise," he looked into her eyes, his words truly sincere. He meant everything he said, he was ready to be serious with Taina - he planned on marrying her.

"I don't trust you Von," Taina whispered, she was most vulnerable when he was around.

"I promise." He said sternly, planting a soft kiss on her lips.

"I'm gonna go shower, our room is down the hall," Taina said getting out of his grip and walking back to the room. Before she got to her room she saw Naala peeking her head out.

"You okay NaNa?" Naala asked Taina, who looked quite bothered.

"Can I come in?"

"Sure, Dave's in the shower," Naala said opening the door further to allow her into the room.

Taina walked into the room, taking in the interior. The balcony doors were flung open allowing the sun to flow in, warming up the room.

"Where's 'Nai?" Taina questioned looking around the room,

"She's with Azure, her and Neveah are attached at the hip," Naala giggled, "how did it go with Von?" Naala questioned,

"I don't know LaLa, I want to let him in again, I really do — but I can't get hurt again. We have been trying so hard but everytime I think we are getting somewhere he pulls us back 5 steps." Taina said feeling herself getting upset.

"Taina I'm gonna tell you something because I love you and I don't want to see you hurt, - if you think this isn't worth it, please leave. I know it's easy for me to say but I've been there, in a one way relationship, trying so hard to hold onto the little things but sometimes you need to think is this even worth fighting for?" Naala spoke, holding onto her friends hand.

"I know you love him, I've never seen you love anyone like this before, so I know this is hard but please take your time this time around." Taina sniffed as she listened to Naala's words. Was she so wrong to want them to work out?

"Thank you Naala, I love you," Taina said reaching over and hugging her, "It means so much to me to have a friend like you,"

"You're my sister, you know that," Naala giggled, "Are you gonna come tonight? It's okay if you don't feel up to it," Naala didn't want her to come out if she wasn't going to be her bubbly self.

"I wouldn't miss it, it's a vacation right," Taina giggled before wiping her eyes.

"That's right, go get sexy for me mama," Naala winked pushing her towards the door.

Taina left the room and went over to the room she now shared with Von.

All the adults were getting ready for their night out, Mama Sonia was getting the girls ready for bed and was having dinner prepared by the chefs - she was loving this time away from home. Chanel had decided to come out with the couples tonight, maybe to be petty.

Chanel walked out of her room, her heels clacking on the floor. She had dressed to impress hoping to gain someone's attention that night.

Mia and Ace left their room hand in hand, walking towards the living area to wait for the others. When Mia spotted Chanel she rolled her eyes. Ace must of sensed the tension and leaned down,

"Cut that shit out, Chanel's good peoples," He said in a hushed tone causing Mia to look up at him,

"Her attitude says otherwise," Mia spoke in normal tone hoping Chanel heard her. She wanted her to say something.

Ace sucked his teeth and let go of her hand, he hated when Mia got all childish.

Naala and Dave were the next couple to come down, Dave walked behind her, messing with her.

"Amir stop it," She whined swatting his hands away from her butt.

"Wow you guys are punctual," Mia sassed as Dave and Naala joined her and Ace on the couch. Chanel sat by the bar, on her own as usual.

"Say Chanel, lemme holla at you," Dave said, calling his sister over. She rolled her eyes and hopped off the stool walking towards him. Naala just looked at her not saying a word, no one was going to ruin this vacation for her.

"You always got this stank ass attitude, you didn't want come or something?" Dave asked looking at her,

"I know that's right," Mia mumbled under her breath, gaining a look from Ace. Naala stifled a laugh at how quick that shut her up.

"I don't have an attitude," Chanel said rolling her neck,

"I'm just hungry and Tanya is taking her time," she said purposely getting Taina's name wrong.

Naala opened her mouth to say something but was stopped by Dave's loud voice,

"You're not gonna disrespect my friend's Gianna," Dave said calling her by her middle name, " And you most definitely not gonna disrespect my girl. You've been mad rude since you came on this trip, I don't know what the fuck is wrong with you but don't get out of pocket because I have no problems sending your ass back to New York. Fix your face because I'm paying for this shit plus the shit on your back," he gestured to the pink two piece she was sporting. "Now I'm not gon' say this again, apologise to Naala for messing up her trip," He grunted looking at Chanel sternly.

Chanel ignored him looking to the side, she was embarrassed. "Gianna!" Dave shouted, his voice booming through the villa.

"Amir, it's okay," Naala pleaded with him,

"Nah she gon' apologise today," He said looking directly at Chanel who was huffing.

"Sorry," She mumbled avoiding eye contact.

"Good now fix ya' face," Dave said, sitting back in his seat and putting his arm around Naala.

"He told her," Mia chuckled quietly, giving Naala a look.

Von left the room before Taina, she said she needed to use the bathroom and apply the finishing touches on her makeup. He walked into the room and the air was stiff with tension. Chanel was back at the bar now angrily typing on her phone, Mia and Ace were cuddled up on the sofa and Naala sat in Dave's lap playing with his hair.

"Damn what did I miss," Von joked taking a seat on the couch.

"Nothing much, where's Taina," Mia replied looking back to where Von just emerged from.

"She should be right behind me," He said sliding his phone out of his pocket and sending Chanel a text.

Taina rushed out of the room, it was now 7:45 and the car had been outside since 7pm.

"I'm sorry y'all, all this takes time," She laughed apologetically gesturing to her outfit.

"Finally," Chanel muttered locking her phone and sliding it into her purse.

"You look good though," Naala said getting up, Dave close behind her,

"Thank you baby mama, we going?" Taina asked walking towards the front door, everyone following suit.

Von walked closely behind Taina , stealing glances at her ass, just wanting to squeeze it.

They all filed into the black van that was waiting for them and took their seats. After a 20 minute ride they pulled up at the restaurant. It was an outdoor one right by the ocean, the ambience was very chill and the food smelt amazing.

They were led to their seats, where they all sat in their respective couples. Chanel felt like the 7th wheel, what felt even worse was how much attention Von was showing Taina, he hadn't looked at her the whole night.

Everyone ordered their food and was having a good time, there was a dance floor just by the bar and Mia dragged Ace with her for a dance. Taina and Von were also on the dance floor surprisingly. Chanel was at the bar staring at them.

As Mia was swaying side to side with Ace, she looked over at the bar and saw Chanel giving Taina and Von the death stare.

"'San, have you noticed that Chanel is always looking at Von?" Mia asked Ace who was looking down at her.

"No baby, leave the girl alone," Ace said softly leaning down to kiss her, pulling Mia's attention away from Chanel.

"Did I tell you how good you looked tonight?" Von asked as he held onto her waist as they danced to the slow reggae music.

"I don't think you did," Taina smirked, her arms wrapped around his neck loosely. He wasn't fully forgiven but she couldn't help it.

"Well you look sexy as shit ma," Von said looking her up and down,

"Thank you," She giggled biting her lip. Taina was only human and look Von was giving her made her want to risk it all.

Naala and Dave sat at the table watching the ocean.

"I really do love it here, thank you baby," Naala said to Dave, rubbing his arm.

"Good because this is where we are getting married," Dave winked pulling her hand up and placing a kiss on it.

"Definitely," She smiled looking at him. "Amir, I love you so much, more than words can describe. These last few months, you've shown me what love means, you've taught me that without loving myself I won't be able to accept the love from others and I am truly grateful. A year ago I couldn't even imagine what true love feels like but you've given me that and more. I'm so lucky to have you, I don't tell you enough but you saved me Papa," Naala spoke, looking deeply into his eyes. Her heart pounding at every word.

"You have nothing to thank me for Love, I'm just treating you how you deserve to be treated. You're a phenomenal woman Naala and any man that can't see that doesn't deserve to have you. I'm happy I've taught you how to love yourself because you've taught me how to love period," Dave said stroking her face, "You're my soulmate baby and when we have 5 more kids running around, I'm never gonna forget to remind you how amazing you are,"

Naala pulled her head back, "5?" She questioned.

"You'll be lucky to get 2 more babies out of me Amir," She laughed, "Your daughter's big ass head tore me apart," Naala winced remembering the pain she went through during childbirth.

"I can deal with that," Dave smirked picking up his drink and bringing it to his lips.

"You look so daddy-ish tonight," Naala said through hooded eyes.

"Don't give me that look Love," Dave laughed, "You're always starting something you can't finish,"

Naala smiled and laughed, "Stay just like that," She said grabbing her phone and snapping a picture.

She took a few shots and then showed him the pictures.

"Now this is my screensaver," She said practically drooling over the picture.

Dave smirked and pulled her up,

"Come on let's dance," He spoke in her ear, pulling her towards the dance floor.
