Today was the final day of their trip and everyone was ready to get back home. Everyone was waiting in the living area for the cars to arrive to take them to the airport. It was 5am so silence was inevitable. Taina sat on her own, in her own world - staring into space. She hadn't muttered a word to anyone since yesterday, it's like she was finally broken. That didn't stop Naala, Mia and Azure from trying to make sure she is okay.

"Would you like a croissant, T" Naala offered, holding up the plate of pastries.

Taina just shook her head and pushed her dark glasses further up her face, "I'll have one Lala," Azure said to take away from the awkwardness of that exchange.

Naala nodded and held out the plate to Zuri before putting it down and returning to her seat next to Dave and Sinai. Sinai was on her dad's lap, attempting to have a nap.

Dave squeezed Naala's thigh, "She's upset, don't take it personally," He spoke as he saw the change in Naala's mood.

"I know I'm not upset with her, I'm angry for her," Naala spoke quietly, leaning on Dave's shoulder,

"You can't fight everyone's battles baby, she will talk to you when she feels better," Dave said rubbing his hand up and down her thigh. Naala nodded and cleared her throat,

"You feeling okay though? I heard you this morning," Dave said referring to the fact that he was awoken by Naala being sick in the bathroom,

"It's definitely something I ate," Naala tried to convince herself,

"You ate anything today?" Dave asked about to get up and grab her something.

"Nah, I can't keep anything down," Naala said lowly, hoping no one could hear them. Dave just nodded and pulled her into him so more.

"The cars are here," Mama Sonia said looking out of the window. Everyone got up and got their suitcases, Dave thanked the staff once again and left them a hefty tip for their work over the last week.

3 black sprinters pulled up to the house to take the group the airport in time for their 6am flight back.

Dave carried Sinai and the bags while Naala trailed behind with the bigger suitcase. Mama Sonia carried Neveah leaving Azure with the bags. Taina walked on her own, she was drained.

After 30 minutes they pulled up to the airport, going out directly to the tarmac where the jet sat ready for them. They all boarded and the jet took off promptly.

"Bye Zuri, see you later Veah, I love you," Naala said leaning over to pull her sister into a hug. Dave had arranged for cars to pick everyone up and drop them off. Azure rode with Dave and Naala, so they were dropping her off before going back to their home. Taina had decided she was going to stay with her parents for a while so was going in the opposite direction. Mia and Ace had gone back home together. Mama Sonia's 'friend' was waiting for her at the airport so she left with him, despite Dave's protests.

"Wish me luck," Zuri said pulling away from the hug. This would be the first time she's seeing Derrick after asking for a divorce and she didn't know what to expect. Holding Neveah's hand, she led her up the cobblestone path, her heart beating for an odd reason.

Pushing the door open, Azure was met with a sparkling house, Derrick had clearly been cleaning up a lot. She walked further into the house, hearing low music playing in the back of the house. Neveah let go of her hand and skipped towards her room,

"I'm going to play with my dolls, mama," She said before pushing her bedroom door open. Azure didn't get a chance to answer before the door was shut. Azure dropped the bags and walked towards the kitchen, to check the mail.

When she entered the kitchen, the whole place was lit with candles and rose petals decorated the floor. Azure raised her eyebrows, this is new, she thought. Derrick came out of the pantry lowly humming and holding a few things in his hand. When he spotted Azure standing there he jumped,

"Nooo, you guys are back early," He said, setting the stuff down on the counter, "This was meant to be a surprise," He finished, wiping his hands on Azure's apron that he happened to be wearing.

"What is all of this?" Azure asked gesturing to the romantic meal that was set up,

"It's for you Zuri, I wanted to apologise --" Zuri's laughter cut him off,

"Wait," She chuckled darkly, "You think a dinner is going to change anything?" She laughed, holding onto her sides, laughter racking through her entire body.

"Of course not but it's a start," Derrick said not getting what was funny.

"Hmm," Azure hummed looking at what was cooking, her mouth watered at the sight of the shrimp Alfredo that he was making.

"Please just sit," Derrick said pulling out the chair for Azure,

"I'm only sitting because that smells good," She said pointing to the pot of food behind him,

"How was Cancun?" Derrick asked pouring both of them a glass of wine, "I missed you guys,"

Zuri scoffed and took the glass of wine, drinking half of it, "I had a great time, I didn't miss you," She said being petty.

Derrick shook his head, "That's my fault, I've been the worst husband. Whilst y'all were gone I had a lot of time to think and I'm sorry Azure, I did this to us," He said pointing to the both of them.

Azure put her glass down and looked at him, "Do you even know what you've done? I don't think you do," She said lowly,

"I neglected you, I neglected our daughter. I was trying to hold on to the old me - the 18 year old Derrick. I didn't want to believe that I had to grow up. This is all on me, I don't expect you to forgive me but please let's fix this,"

Tears gathered in Zuri's eyes, "I wanna forgive you, I really do but Neveah deserves better than this. We are her parents at the end of the day, nothing more or nothing less. The only thing you should be trying to fix is your relationship with your daughter." Azure spoke truthfully.

"So we're done?" Derrick sighed,

"Are you crazy? Out of everything I said all you heard was that we are done. You don't even care about Veah do you?" Azure said, getting angry,

"Of course I do!" He shouted,

"Then why can't you be there for her?! Do you know how hard it is for me to hold my daughter while she cries asking me why her daddy doesn't love her. She sees Dave and Sinai's relationship and knows she can't get that from you," Azure shouted, tears streaming down her face, "So forgive me when I say, you don't care about her," She spat, wiping the tears off her face.

"I'm sorry, I've failed you Zuri but please let me fix what I broke - we were happy once," He begged, now standing in front of her,

"You were happy," She emphasised, "I was struggling to look after a baby all on my own," Azure spoke lowly,

"So we are officially done, is that what you are telling me?" Derrick said now a bit more sternly,

"If it doesn't have anything to do with Neveah, I don't want to hear it," Azure said before throwing back the rest of her wine and walking off, "Oh and your food is burning," She said over her shoulder.

"I will see you in the morning then," Dave said to his manager over the phone. Tomorrow he had an interview booked with the Breakfast Club - he needed to get back to the work immediately.

Dave raised his eyebrows and walked down the steps, "What's wrong with you?" Dave asked as he saw Naala rummaging through the fridge.

"We have nothing in this damn house," She said slamming the door of the refrigerator.

"Woah, don't take it out on the refrigerator," He spoke walking up to her, "What's up?" He asked as he saw her lip quivering.

"I don't know," She said emotionally, "I'm hungry and there isn't anything to eat," Naala whined, tears falling from her eyes.

"I can make something, sit down," Dave said leading her to a seat, "You taken your medication today?" He asked softly,

"I did," Naala nodded, "You know how I feel about missing them," Naala hated taking her medication. It made her feel weird, but she would never miss a day because that would be very detrimental for her health.

"I'm just tired and I feel like pure shit" Naala said leaning on the counter, "And I'm so hungry," She mumbled again watching Dave manoeuvre around the large kitchen.

"I got you," He said pulling out the steak meat from the freezer,

"That's gonna take ages," Naala said throwing her head back, "I'm hungry now,"

"You're gonna have to wait mama," Dave said placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Mommyyyy, I want ice cream," Sinai shouted skipping into the kitchen.

"Shh, mommy isn't feeling too good baby," Dave said to Sinai, "And quit running in the house, what did I tell you before?" Dave scolded her,

"Sorry," Sinai mumbled, "So no ice cream?" She said showcasing her bright smile causing Dave to groan and get it out,

"You're good," Dave said handing her the ice cream in a bowl,

"Be careful in the media room with that 'Nai," Naala said with her head still resting on the counter.
