Hey my babies, this chapter took me ages so please Like and Comment !!
I slipped out of the front door, throwing my hood over my head. I spotted the car and got in quickly.
"Damn nigga I was about to shoot you," Priest said holding onto his waistband,
"Hurry up before Naala notices I'm gone," I said as he started the car and pulled off.
"You didn't tell wifey you were leaving?" He asked, "Bri damn near came with me,"
I shook my head at him. Priest and Brianna have been together for as long as I can remember and they are both crazy as hell. Match made in heaven if you ask me.
"I didn't want her to worry, you know how Lala gets," I said getting comfortable in my seat,
"She gon' find out sooner or later, if that nigga really is back then you need to get your family out of here,"
"I ain't scared of Darnell's bitch ass," I thought I would never hear of that nigga again but I was wrong. A few days ago, Priest said that he got a message from someone claiming to be Darnell.
"It could be someone fucking with us," Priest said, "But that message was too specific,"
"What did it say?" I said looking at him, "Why was he texting you anyway?"
"He mentioned something about coming to get back what was rightfully his," I clenched my jaw as I thought of Naala. "Here, I kept the message," Priest said throwing his phone into my lap.
"I think he sent it to me because he knew I would tell you," That doesn't make no sense to me. His pussy ass must be scared.
"It's him," I replied, "No one knows Naala's middle name like that,"
"I got Kodi to track the number,"Priest said pulling up at a house. Kodi was a chick that we used to run with when we used to sell. She was like a little sister to me. Kodi was a beast at all that technology shit, that's why she was perfect for what we needed.
I nodded, "Is that where we are right now?" I said as he turned off the car.
"Yeah, I told her we were coming," He said as we both got out and walked up to the door. I stood back and let Priest knock. A few seconds after, Kodi appeared at the door with a bright smile.
"What's up?" I smiled back pulling her into hug. She returned the hug and we stood like that for at least 30 seconds.
"I missed you," Kodi expressed as we pulled apart.
"I guess I don't exist then," Priest said pushing past us and flopping on the couch.
"I see you all the time idiot, I don't see Mr. Superstar often," She said pulling me over to the couch, "So how was LA?" She asked as we sat down,
"It was good, but I'm back now," I said tugging on my beard. "Priest has already filled you in?"
I wasn't here for small talk, I wanted to deal with this nigga as soon as possible.
"He did," She nodded standing up and bringing over her laptop. "Whoever this is, is hiding themselves very well."
Darnell worked with tech so it was no surprise that he would be smart enough to conceal where he is.
"If it's who we think it is, then you're gonna have to do a lot to find him,"

"He's good but I'm better," Kodi smiled. "The number pinged off all the major towers here in New York, that's so he would be untraceable. However, he kept them within the same area which helped me narrow it down." She pulled up a map,
"In English," Priest said as he looked at the map in confusion, Kodi laughed and turned to us,
"That means that I have an address," She smiled, "But, to be sure I'm gonna do a backwards trace,"
"So what you're saying is that you have an address but you need to make sure?" I said repeating what she basically just said,
"Exactly, I don't want to send you guys in blind," She explained, "I've set up some surveillance at the address, hopefully we can pick up a visual,"
"That's why we came to you," Priest said dapping her up,
"Thanks for that Kodi," I said standing up and pulling out my phone. It was 3:30am,
"You've got somewhere to be?" She asked closing her laptop.
"Wifey gon' be mad," Priest teased cracking up. I straight faced him,
"Shut up before I call Bri to beat your ass," He stopped laughing quickly because he knows that Bri be tapping his ass.
"Wifey?" Kodi repeated with her hand on her hip, "So the player has finally settled down? Is it someone I know?"
"It's Naala, that nigga tried to tell us that's his 'best friend' whole time he wanted to eat her ass," Priest spoke,
"Priest I swear to God," I mumbled as he moved away from me,
"Wow, I always knew you two liked each other," Kodi said with a genuine smile,
"Like?" Priest exclaimed, "They done had 2 babies na,"
"Ignore him," I said mugging him. This is why I hate being around this fool.
"I'm happy for you," Kodi said as we walked to the door,
"Preciate it, and thanks for dealing with our little problem," I said looking at Priest who was rustling through her pantry,
"It's nothing," She waved me off, "You know y'all are my brothers,"
I nodded, "Keep me updated," I said, "Priest bring yo ass before I call Bri," He dropped everything in his hand and came rushing out the door. We got in the car and he pulled off,
"Why'd you do that? She had the good snacks," Priest mumbled with a sad look,
"Nigga you ain't got food at home?" I asked checking my phone again to see if Naala was awake,
"Brianna's tripping," He said, "She said I can't eat till I buy her a Birkin," I chuckled,
"For real?" I replied as he nodded,
"I blame those Town girls," He mumbled,
"City Girls?" I asked him still bussing up,
"Whatever they call themselves," He spat, "Now I'm hungry as fuck," He said turning into Popeyes.
"You want something?" He asked as he pulled up to the window. I shook my head and listened to him order practically the entire menu. When he got his food, he sped off into the direction of the house.
"You think Naala would let me sleep on y'all couch?" He said shoving a few fries into his mouth.
"You ain't sleeping on my couch, we've got a flight tomorrow," I reminded him. I was regretting booking this trip now because I needed to have my eye on my family now that they might be in danger.

"Shit I forgot," He said sucking his teeth, "You ready for the show?" He asked me before taking a sip of his drink,
"I am but now I'm worried about leaving Saint and Sinai behind," I admitted,
"Tell Bully to keep watch and I'll sort out a security detail in Miami," Priest said seriously. For most of the time Priest was a fool but when it came to work, he knew when to be serious.
"You right," I sighed, "Naala really don't need this right now,"
"She still having her hallucinations?" Priest questioned. When Naala had her episode, I confided in him because that shit scared me,
"Nah but she ain't all that stable right now," I said truthfully. Almost every night, Naala would wake up sweating and crying, thinking someone has taken Saint. It got so bad that now his crib is in our room, so that she can check on him at all times.
"Damn," Priest replied, "You think she's gonna be good in Miami?"
That was my fear. I didn't think she would be able to be away from them for that long, especially if I tell her about Darnell. I guess I gotta keep it to myself.
"I don't know man," I said as we he turned into the gate, "I hope so,"
"Im'a make sure Brianna keeps her mind off it," Priest replied putting the car in park.
"Thanks bro," I said dapping him up, "Make sure y'all make it to the airport,"
"If I don't kill her first," He mumbled. I burst into laughter,
"You mean if she don't kill you first?" I said after I calmed down. Priest held a blank look as I laughed,
"Get out," He said pointing to the door,
"Bye nigga," I laughed getting out and running up to the front door. I snuck in and turned off the alarm, hoping Naala was asleep.
I got into the room and saw she was lying on her back, with Saint on her chest. I closed the door lightly and walked into the closet to change. After I changed I came out, seeing she was still in the same position.
I gently lifted Saint off her chest and walked over to the crib, laying him down. As I laid him down, she shot up,
"Amir?" She asked as she looked around the room,
"It's me baby, go back to sleep," I whispered as I walked back over to the bed.
"Where were you?" She mumbled as she got comfortable, facing me as I slipped in the bed.
"I had to do something," I replied hoping she will fall asleep and forget everything when she woke up.
"Mmm," She said moving closer to me. I wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her head,
"You smell like chicken," She said lightly, sniffing the air.
"Do I?" I replied, Priest and that damn Popeyes.
"Yeah," Naala whispered burrowing her head further into my chest. "Are you lying to me?" She said softly,
"No, me and Priest went to sort something out," I said not exactly lying,
"Are you cheating on me?" She asked lifting her head up.
"Why are you accusing me of cheating? Because I smell of chicken?" I asked unwrapping my arms from around her waist and sitting up,
"No because you're coming back home at 4am in the morning, what do you want me to think?" She said also sitting up,
"I'm not cheating on you Naala, I'm telling the truth," I said pulling her back towards me,
"I'm overreacting," She mumbled, "Promise me you're not gonna do that to me again,"
I didn't realise how much my cheating affected her. It makes me feel like shit, I'm the reason for her trust issues.
"I'm not gonna do that again, ever." I said leaning down to peck her lips. She sighed and kissed me back, "I love you,"
"Love you too," She replied getting comfortable in my arms,
"Uhm?"
"I love you too," She smiled rubbing my arms, "I love you too much,"
"Don't say that," I mumbled. "Sleep because we got to be up early,"
I looked down and saw that she was lightly snoring. I analysed her features as she slept, tracing my fingers over her lips. Everyday I think about how much I hurt her, how much I damaged her trust and it fucks with me. Sometimes I think she's better off without me in her life, all of her problems wouldn't exist if I left her alone.
"I'm gonna change for you Love," I whispered holding her tighter.
"Naala come on, they'll be fine." Dave reassured me as sat in the car crying. Our flight was in 2 hours and we were parked outside Taina's house.
"Naala you can't seriously be crying right now," He mumbled leaning over to wipe my face,
"I don't want to leave them," I sniffed. Call me crazy but I didn't want to be without my kids for an entire weekend.
"They're gonna be fine, right Nai?" He said looking to the back where Sinai sat,
"I can't wait to play with Tete Nana, she said she's gonna do my nails." Sinai beamed.
But I can do her nails.
"See, they're be good Naala come on," Dave groaned. We had been sat out here for 30 minutes, "Do you want me to walk you in?"
I nodded, wiping my face. I had no choice but to leave them here. "Yeah let's go," I said softly, reaching for my door handle.
Dave popped my hand, "Since when do you open doors?" He asked getting out,
"I definitely opened my own door yesterday," I laughed getting out of the car. He helped Sinai out and took Saint's carrier.
We walked up to her door and knocked. Taina pulled the door open and gave me a funny look.
Now what have I done?
"Hey Tete," Sinai said hugging her waist. Taina stopped staring at me and hugged Sinai back.
"What's up T," Dave mumbled stepping into the house,
"Mmm," She replied. She still wasn't speaking to him.
"Naala make this quick," Dave said helping Sinai to the couch.
"Okay so I've pumped 10 bottles of milk for him. Keep them in the fridge or they will spoil. He has half a bottle at night and a full one in the mornings and half in the afternoon. I packed formula but please don't use it." I rambled on. Taina stood staring at me blankly,
"Naala I need to-"
I cut her off, "When he gets fussy he likes when I play his dad's music. Sinai's bed time is at 7 don't let her fool you, she will try and get out of it."
"Naala I really need to talk —"
Saint squealed stopping Taina from speaking. I put the carrier down and unbuckled him,
"My baby," I pouted feeling myself get upset again.
"Naala," Dave said with a warning tone. I ignored him and attacked Saint's face with a million kisses.
"Nai come here," I called out. She came running over,
"Be good for Tete, I'm trusting you to look after your brother. If you need an adult what do you do?"
"I look for Tete or I call you and daddy?" She said,
"No," Dave said standing up, "You look for Tete, don't call me or mommy unless it's an emergency,"
"Amir, what if she needs us?" I frowned fixing Saint's sock.
"Naala I've got this," Taina replied for him. "They're fine, trust me." She said with a gentle smile.
I sighed and handed Saint to her, "Call me whenever you need me, even if it's the middle of the night," I said to her.
She pulled me into a hug, "I will but we need to talk when you get back,"
I nodded, I'm guessing it was something to do with Gray, because I've been dodging his calls.
"Bye mommy," Sinai said hugging me. I leaned down and kissed her forehead,
"Be good baby," I said softly. Dave leaned down and hugged her aswell before kissing Saint's cheek.
"Come on," Amir said leading me out the door. "Nai be good," He added before we left the house.
"Now I've gotta break laws to get to the airport on time," He complained opening my door,
"It's not my fault," I pouted, "This is the longest I've been away from them,"
"You need this break," He said getting in the car and starting it up. He sped in the direction of the airport, "Plus I've got Bully watching them,"
I glanced his way, "Bully? So what about you and your show? Don't you need him?"
"Priest sorted out security down there," He replied quickly.
"Okay," I was relieved that Bully would be in New York. I've been having a funny feeling in my stomach for a few days, it was probably nerves but it just didn't feel right leaving them.
"Relax," He chuckled rubbing my thigh, "We gon' have fun,"
"I hope so," I smiled weakly, "What are we gonna do when we land?"
"Well me and Priest need to go and check out the venue. I was thinking you and Bri can do some sightseeing," He said holding my hand and turning the wheel with the other.
"Fine by me, it's nice to have Bri around,"
"You like her?" He questioned,
I nodded, ,"A lot, I feel like she gets me," I smiled.
"I don't want her crazy ass rubbing off on you," He said lowly,
"She's not crazy," I lied. Bri was more than crazy.
"Her and Priest are a damn trip," Dave replied, shaking his head.
"They're cute, why can't we be like that?" I teased him,
He looked at me quickly, "I don't wanna be like they're crazy asses,"
"Mmm," I said looking out of the window.
"You packed your medication?" Dave asked concentrating on the road. Here we go again with the micromanaging,
"Yes dad." I said rolling my eyes, "Do you want to pull over and check?" I asked lifting up my purse,
"No need to have an attitude," Dave said pushing my purse down. "I'm sorry baby," He dragged out as he saw I wasn't smiling,
"You always do that, do you think I wouldn't pack the only thing keeping me sane right now?"
"Love, I'm sorry aight," He said dismissing me. He stopped at a red light and leaned over, "I'm sorry," He said lowly before leaning in to kiss my lips.
"I know how you can repay me," I cheesed wiping the excess lip gloss of his lips,
"What do you want? I'll get you anything,"
"Anything?" I asked raising a brow,
"What is it? I ain't getting you a dog Naala," He said when he realised what I was getting at,
"Why?" I pouted, "A small one at least,"
"We've got two kids, why would we need a dog?"
"It's good for children to grow up with a pet," I argued.
"Neither of us grew up with pets and look us," He said, "We're good,"
Questionable, but go off sis.
"Not fair," I mumbled crossing my arms.
"Life isn't fair," He replied speeding off again.
20 minutes later we pulled up at the airport. The lucky thing about flying private, is that check in is much quicker. Before we knew it we were boarding the jet. We all got comfortable, well me and Bri did because as per usual, Priest and Dave were standing at the back of the jet, talking.
"Naala?" Bri called out making me look away from them. "Did you hear anything I just said?" She asked,
"I'm sorry, I'm listening, so you haven't let him eat since then?" I asked laughing,
"Nope. I told him if he can't get me what I want then he doesn't need to eat," She exclaimed sitting back in her seat.
"Drinks?" The air hostess said to the both of us,
Bri smiled at me, "Could we have two shots please?"
"Uhn uhn, she don't need that," Priest called out walking back over to us,
"Boy, don't make me smack you," Brianna said seriously. Dave pulled me into his lap,
"I'm sitting with Bri," I said trying to get up but he held onto my waist tightly.
"No you not," He said into my neck. I watched Priest and Brianna argue over the shots.
"Naala do you want a shot?" Priest asked me,
"I -"
"She i'on need it," Dave replied for me making me close my mouth.
"Welp, I tried Bri," I said looking over at her.
"Y'all are no fun," She pouted sitting back,
"Yeah yeah, shut up," Priest mumbled taking his seat. "Ms lady she'll take a water," He said to the air hostess who was laughing.
"I hate you," Brianna said nudging him,
"I love you too baby," He replied kissing her cheek.
They were sitting a few steps away from us, but not directly in front of us.
"Can I sit in my seat now?" I said to Dave as he ran his hand up and down my thigh. I was wearing a sundress so my thighs were exposed.
"I like you right here," His voice deepened. I know what that meant,
"We can't," I whispered as he kissed my neck.
"They're not watching," He said lowly. I sighed and picked up the blanket in the seat next to us. I turned in his lap to that I was facing the window and not Bri and Priest.
I put the blanket other us and put my head on his chest. From where Priest and Bri were sitting, it looked like I was sleeping on his chest.
"You've got be quiet Ma," He whispered rubbing my slit.
"Mmm," I moaned lowly, maybe this wouldn't that easy.
