《The Nerd and The Frog》Good Genes

"Oh, what's up?" Daniel asked, giving Alan his full attention.
Not expecting Daniel to actually be that interested in this situation, Alan's hands burrowed more into his pockets, his eyes averted completely. He was nervous, figuring that he had mentally prepared himself for this situation.
I need to tell him this... better to do it now and get his reaction and rejection, instead of later and he hates me forever.
Alan, taking a deep breath as he looks Daniel in the eyes carefully, only to see him return the stare.
"Daniel... I..."
However, before he could fully speak, something caught his attention from the corner of his eye, and he couldn't help but look at it, as it was hurling into the bedroom at such a fast speed. The sounds of feet quickly moving against the floor were going towards Daniel, before crashing into him completely, propelling him onto his bed as he cried out in shock.
Alan stood frozen in place, his eyes wide as he watched the whole scene unfold in front of him.
"DANNY! Where the hell is my copy of FIFA?!" a voice screamed out. A man, who was not much older looking than Daniel, had him pinned face down onto the bed, trying to put him in a headlock.
Daniel, who was now trying to wrestle his way out of this man's arms, was letting out noises of frustration and annoyance. "Brian, I. DON'T. HAVE. IT! Get off!" Daniel shouted, reaching up to try and claw at the man's face.
"You're lying! You were the last one to touch it! I haven't seen it since I've been here!" Brian shouted back, holding Daniel down without too much effort.
"You took it with you back to campus on break!! You texted me that you found it!!" Daniel proclaimed, using his left leg to promptly kick Brian in the back with force. Brian cried out in pain, reaching back to grab the foot, before making a face of realization.
"Oh shit... you're right..." Brian spoke.
With that pause, Daniel pushed himself off the bed with as much force as he could, causing Brain to let go of his foot, roll off his back and onto the floor with a loud thud. "The fuck, dude?! You could've asked first!"

"My bad, little brother! My bad! I thought I brought it with me this time around! I guess I left it on campus." Brian said with a cheeky grin, rubbing the back of his head as he laid on the floor. However, he looked over at Alan in surprise, having not seen him prior to tackling Daniel.
Alan just stared down at him in confusion and shock.
"Hey there, stranger! Who are you?" Brian asked with a bright smile, getting to his feet.
When he stood up straight, Alan felt even smaller than before. Brian was quite tall, about 6'3" and muscular. His hair was buzz cut and his black eyes looked down at him in curiosity. He looked very similar to Daniel, but had a full beard on his face.
"Um.... hi..." Alan said shyly, more so in amazement at how tall, toned and handsome this guy was.
"Brian, this is my friend, Alan. He's here to hangout." Daniel said as he climbed off the bed, attempting to fix his clothing and hair in the process.
"Oh, hi, Al! Nice to meet you! I'm his older brother, Brian." Brian said happily, extending his hand out for him to shake. Alan returned the gesture, a bashful smile on his face.
Damn... are all the men in this family attractive?
"Why are you two so noisy?" another voice stated from the bedroom entrance, however it was much deeper and stern.
Everyone looked over to see another man, just a bit older than the other two, his ebony eyes peering through oval-shaped metal frames, his hair combed back into a neat style with grey streaks on the side. He had a model like physique, his face chiseled to that of a celebrity, and while he may have been older, he was obviously in good shape. Not as muscular as his older son, but more in the shape of Daniel. He was exactly the same height as Brian. His hands rested in his trousers as he calmly eyed everyone in the room.
Alan blinked in fascination, not able to do anything else. OK... so, my question is answered. They ARE ALL FUCKING ATTRACTIVE. Good genes. Good FUCKING genes.
"Brian tackled me, dad. For no reason..." Daniel spoke as he side-eyed his older brother, only to see Brian bashfully smile towards their father.

Their father sighed, rolling his eyes before looking at Alan. "I apologize for my ridiculous sons. May I ask for your name?" he asked, calmly.
"Oh... hi, I'm Alan. Nice to meet you, Mr. Lang." Alan quickly answered, trying not to stare.
"It's Doctor... actually..." Daniel corrected Alan, quietly.
Alan looked up in shock, only to see their father smile back politely.
"It's perfectly fine to call me Mr. Lang. Daniel is just... proper that way." Dr. Lang replied, shrugging in jest. "Nice to meet you, Alan. I hope Daniel is being hospitable."
"Oh, yeah! He is!" Alan responded quickly, not understanding why he was so damn nervous.
"Good to hear. Brian, come help with dinner until your mother gets home. And stop tackling Daniel..." Dr. Lang ordered calmly, only to see Brian groan and head out of the bedroom behind his father.
Alan stood there, somewhat dumbfounded.
"Well, you've met my older brother and dad." Daniel said with a small laugh, before taking a seat on the bed. "Sorry about that... my brother can be crazy like that, sometimes."
"Oh no, it's fine! He seems... fun." Alan stated, unsure of how to describe him.
"You mean rough..." Daniel said with a grin, rubbing the back of his neck from soreness. "Anyway, you were saying?"
"Huh? About what?" Alan responded, not thinking Daniel was going to remember that conversation at all.
"You had something to tell me before my brother barged in here." Daniel repeated, looking at Alan in confusion.
"Oh, it's nothing important! How about we get started on this... makeover?" Alan stated quickly, trying to change the subject.
"Oh, ok, sure!" Daniel stated, his mind completely distracted from the previous subject. "Tell me, what size are you in pants and such? I have some clothes from last season that I grew out of, so you can probably fit them." Daniel asked, heading over towards his massive walk in closet.
Thank god he let that go... Alan sighed softly, not wanting to have that talk right now. Let me just... enjoy this time with him for now. I want to have this at least.
"Also, while I'm getting some outfits ready for you, you can look over the archives regarding my family. I have them all on my computer. My dad has them on our shared network drive for easier access. Granted, we have hard copies, but this just makes things easier." Daniel stated, quickly walking over to his laptop and logging into his desktop.
"I cannot with your family. They're all freaking geniuses." Alan said, only to hear Daniel laugh.
"Nah, we're just a bit organized." Daniel rebutted with a smile. "Here, you can look through this database and click the folders and they'll open up PDFs for you to look at."
Alan walked over to the computer and took a seat, taking the mouse and calmly looking over the folders. "They're dated?"
"Yep, by year. We have some dating back to the 1700s." Daniel stated, heading back towards the closet.
"That's... amazing..." Alan stated, not helping but to go through the folders in fascination. "I have so many questions..."
"Well, you go through that stuff and I'll get you 5 outfits to model." Daniel spoke from the closet.
"5?" Alan stated, looking over his shoulder in shock.
"Oh yes. I meant it when I said I was giving you a total makeover."
