《Seventeen One-Shots》-5- Seungkwan Revised

You hated riding the school bus to and from school. You didn't like not being able to ride with your little sister. She was really shy and had a hard time socializing with all the other elementary school kids on the bus. You didn't like her being lonely.
Early one morning, you waited for the bus with your sister like every other day. "Why can't we just walk?" Your sister asked, puffing out her lips. "Because school is to far away. I'd be late everyday if we walked." You said, sitting down to be on your sister's level.
The school bus arrived and you lead your sister onto the bus and to her assigned seat.
You went to the very back of the bus and sat with your friends...well friend...okay... acquaintance.
Seungkwan was this guy in your class that rode your bus and made you sit with him everywhere and forced you to eat lunch with him. He didn't want you to be alone... supposedly.
You sat down next to him and he began yapping your ear off as he does every morning.
"I must say...you look ravishing." He said holding his chest. "Thank you Seungkwan." You said already done with him for the day.
He complimented you all the time. You were sure it was just to be nice though. You enjoyed his compliments. They made your day in a way.
You sat in your seat, listening to Seungkwan tell really lame jokes and watching him act so extra.
You glanced to the front of the bus to check on your sister but you couldn't see her.
"Seungkwan, can you look at the front and see my sister?"
Seungkwan stretched his neck and studied your little sister.
"Shes crying a little." Seungkwan said with a faded smile.

When the bus stopped to pick someone up, you walked to the front and told your sister to come to the back with you.
"What do you think you're doing?" The bus driver scolded you. "My sister is upset. So she's gonna sit with me." You said in a rather rude tone. The bus driver glared at you. "Make sure she stays on the inside of the seat." The bus driver said.
You guided your little sister to your seat and told her to sit with Seungkwan.
"Are you my sister's boyfriend?" Your little sister asked boldly. "I wish." Seungkwan laughed lightly. "She's great isn't she?" You sister talked about you like you weren't right next to her. "She is. She's so pretty too."
You looked down at your sister who was carrying on a conversation with a technical stranger.
She turned her body to face you. "Seungkwan is really sweet. Why isn't he your boyfriend?" Your sister asked a tough question that seemed simple to her. "I dunno." You gave a simple answer.
You noticed your little sister looked back and forth between you and Seungkwan. She grabbed your hand then Seungkwan 's hand. She locked y'all's fingers and smiled proudly. "You're a turd." You said, blushing brightly. "You're a saint." Seungkwan said, his complexion matching yours.

Re: (Union//Incarnation)
Two years ago, a meteor fell and decimated the southeastern lands of Gaia, turning them into wastelands constantly shrouded in white fog. None of those who saw the blazing calamity with their own eyes lived to tell the tale, and those who attempted to venture in never came back. Since then, towers, caverns, and ruins have appeared and disappeared without a pattern. Those who were brave enough to venture in were rewarded with a partner capable of defying the natural laws as humanity knows it. People started to call them ‘Incarnation’, and before long, more and more Incarnation were gathered and sold as commodity, especially after a billionaire has sponsored a fighting tournament offering cash prizes to those possessing the strongest Incarnation, spurring the greedy and desperate to hunt for the fabled creatures at the cost of their lives. Claire Saphira wanted none of that. She simply wished for a life where she could live without worry of her own survival. As she ran from the debt collectors for the umpteenth time, she was swallowed by an errant tower, where she saw a frail, pale-skinned girl with ashen hair hung by chains. It was a chance, a chance to participate in the tournament and live without worrying about survival. Yet, something nagged in the back of her mind. Why did she look so familiar? Planned release schedule: One chapter every day for Mon-Fri, and a break on Sat-Sun. The release will slow down at some point, but most likely won't go under 3 chapters a week.

On the second jump, Claire's bad leg gave way and she felt herself tumbling forward. A cry of surprise escaped her and Claire was certain she was about to topple off the side of the train. Alek, however, moved quickly, catching her mid-fall and keeping her upright, and alive. Claire lifted her eyes to meet his which were wide with alarm. The expression was fleeting, lasting for only a moment before it was replaced by a frown. "You could have fallen," he said pointedly."I know," Claire breathed, finding her thoughts drifting to the strong arm wrapped around her waist. A flush rose to her cheeks and she was grateful for the biting wind that masked her reaction. "Thank you.""You need to be more careful," he continued, his eyes locked on hers, bright and haunting in the silver glow of the moon overhead."I will," Claire assured him, her heart skipping in her chest.
