After a few long days and hours Rehema and her crew have finally made it back home. Sang-Chul was surprised with the weather change, in the African lands it was much hotter and lots of sand. He took a good glimpse around when he stepped out the carriage and saw how the city of the Royal Palace of Sekhe looked from the outside. The royal palace stretched over a hill and blended in with sand and stones. Below the castle was the open field where there were many tall Baobab and Marula trees. The main castle building itself was tall and wide. It sat on top of the hill in the middle of the royal city and was made of mud and brick, along with a few towers. There was massive wall of sandstone, an stylish windows on the castle. You could see the African Lands flag of the great lion blowing in the wind, hanging from tallest towers of the castle.
When Sang-chul along with the rest of crew were going past the open field of Baobab and Marula trees they finally made it to the palace city entrance and came across a huge gate with massive metal doors. The female guards in front of the gate opened it allowing people to come in.
Sang-chul was not sure where to go and what to do, once the gates opened the first thing you face were different stone paths to take. Once the gates opened everyone went their way. Maids went left, servants went right, guards, and warriors went forward. He was the newbie while everyone else knew exactly what to do and where to go.
Luckily Rehema saved him just in time she approached him from behind tapping his shoulder. Sang-chul turned around and relaxed when he saw her.
"Your majesty I'm not sure-"

"Yes, I almost forgot your new here. Come with me," she said linking his arm with hers. Sang-chul blushed and did so following where Rehema was taking him.
"Since your new here the first rank you have as concubine is second class male attendant, most of your days you will be spending time in the harem hall." Rehema began, as they walked Sang-chul could see other workers around them being busy with tasks such as cooking, building, sewing, etc. "I know it's very noisy in this area of the royal city but trust me its more peaceful and quieter in the harem hall. I still have to finish assigning houses to the rest of concubines, so you'll be staying in the guest house for now."
Rehema then whistled and a carriage came along in front of them. "I have thing to finish," She said turning to him. "But this carriage with take you to the guest house where you stay for a while before I assign you your house, and you will get to meet your servant their as well." She gave a kiss on the check and winked at him. "Don't look so nervous, I'll see you soon." The carriage driver came over to open the tiny door for Sang-chul and helped him inside. When the carriage door shut Sang-chul could see Rehema out the window smiling softly at him, when the carriage started to ride away. He waved at Rehema who did the same thing in return.
Later on, in the afternoon Rehema had met up with Ekon in the Emperor Dowagers sitting room. The room was decorated with bright yellow patterend walls and short comfy golden seats, and it was ovel shaped room. He was having afternoon tea when she had come in, at the small round wooden engraved table in the middle of the room.

He noticed her come in still wearing her travel clothes, a long ball gown with a cape that was dragged on the floor behind her. Her headpiece was kente clothed piece that was wrapped in a bun on top of her head.
"You've have returned," he said getting up with a smile. He was wearing his usual plain black senor style clothing and this time a golden emborder pattern shaped as a spiral on the center part of his shirt. He went over to hug her and Rehema hugged him back.
"How was the trip?" He asked ushering her to sit across from him at the small table.
"It was certainly...interesting," Rehema said, sitting down and taking a biscuit from the table. She took off her big golden hoop earrings and sat them down on the table.
"Some of my servants said they saw you come in with a new concubine from your visit?" Ekon asked with an eyebrow up.
Rehema bit into her biscuit, "Wow, news spreads that fast huh?"
"Who is he?"
"Empress Fan Du of the East Asian Lands...during the summit, gave me a gift," Rehema said.
Ekon titled his head in confusion, "Really?"
"Yep," Rehema nodded, and she poured herself a cup of tea. "That and I guess I made an friend or ally."
Ekon was now even more interested, "And who would that be?"
"Kiana Iona, The Empress of the Sea and Islands," Rehema answered.
Ekon pursed his lips, "Anything out of the ordinary that you noticed about the other empresses?"
Rehema shook her head, "Nothing much beside the fact that one decided to not show up at all."
Ekon scratched his head, "I don't know much on the affairs that go on with the other Empresses in Pangaea but please stick with your advisors and don't underestimate what the other empresses could try to do."
"I deeply will do that," Rehema said and she drank some tea taking a sip, careful not to burn her tongue. "So how was it here when I was gone?"
Ekon shrugged, "Nothing much. We held a meeting in my meeting room, but so far the men are behaved. So far." He strained, and Rehema giggled. "They deeply missed you, especially Mosi" He went on mentioning Rehema's son.
"Well, we also still need to schedule auditions for the missing seats in your harem," Ekon brought up. He got up and went to the desk in the corner of the room and brought back a piece of parchment and quill pen.
Rehema tilted her head thinking deeply at first, "Well, I think we can do it, sometime this week. We just have to work fast to have announcements around the African Lands set up."
Ekon started to write and scribble down notes, "Alright than, towards the end of the week it is."

Fire and Shadows. Legend of the breaker. (Hiatus until ??)
Traditions lost, books burned, ancient knowledge forever spurned. It began with fire, the great Sirionean, all dominating desert creating pyre. And it ended thusly just aswell, t'was the great Empire's deathknell. The crackling of the burning books, dangling corpses on rusty hooks. The yellow streets of Heabury proper, colored red with human copper. -? S.V, Scholar of Dawn.' -- Author note: Hi, SeV here. I'm not a fan of writing my entire story premise in the synopsis. For that, read the prologue and chapter 1. Suffice it to say that I think it's a cool idea and I already have a few things planned and a world sort of formed in my mind. I like Epic fantasy, lightnovels with OP MCs, Litrpg, sci-fi, any many other things. This story is written for myself, so it may include all sorts of diffent elements and character interactions and even experimental things that I'm trying out as a writer in order to improve. My intention with this is to pretty much post as I write, and acquire feedback from you folks in the process. I of course hope you like my story, but feel free to criticize anything since this is a project to improve myself. Even if it isn't strictly criticism, any feedback positive or negative is welcome since I am interested in what other people think of my writing style and what I can improve on. Since it's growing generically I'll be interested in your thoughts and speculations on future events and any suggestions moving forward will be taken into consideration. Hope you enjoy my stuff. - SeV
