《Mommy's Little Pup.》32-Make-up.

"Girls! what have you done?" Auntie Nat asks we're only playing why is she mad?
"We are pretty mommy!" Rila answers her and I nod my head yes, I look very beautiful, I always loved make-up, and loved using it always, even when mommy only gave me clean brushes to play with.
"I know you're pretty but the makeup isn't meant to go on the puppy's face," she says making me frown, I love my make-up, why can't I have makeup?
"Why?" Iris asks for me, yes why! I love it!
"Because she's too young and her skin is sensitive," she answers us, but I looked at her with a big pout, I'm not going to wash my face.
"Ohhhhh..." both Rila and Iris say at the same time.
"Come on, let's go wash your face," Zane says, but I took off running, I'm not going to wash my face, this home is similar to ours, but they don't have any kid's gate over the stairs, I started to run down the stairs, I stumbled, but managed to get back up, and kept on walking downstairs, I didn't know where to go, but I was running. Maybe if I go outside, I can manage to get back home, our place is just nearby, mommy said all the teachers live next to each other since the school provides the homes.
"Rosabelle?" mommy says entering the house, I ran toward her, everyone is evil here, no one likes me, I cried into her chest, they want to wash my face, I'm called a baby and no one is playing with me.
"Mommy," I say with more tears, I couldn't get the word out of my mouth, not when I'm overwhelmed like this.
"For god's sake, she's quick," Nat says coming down after me.

"I know, what did you do to make her run?" mommy asks her, yeah, they're the bad ones here.
"I said, I want to wash her face, Rila got a make-up set, and I don't think it's meant for her age," Nat says, making mama groan.
"She loves make-up, but you know those sets aren't meant for littles this young," mommy says, agreeing with her.
"They were a gift for Rila, I have them hidden but that little monkey can find anything," Nat says making mommy chuckle, but Rila isn't a monkey, why is she calling her that?
"Riri, no monkey," I say trying to wipe my tears off on mommy's shirt.
"It's her title when she gives me hard time, now that your mommy is here, you're good?" auntie Nat asks me, I nod my head yes, with mommy here, everything is well.
"I need to wash your face sweetie," mommy says, but I didn't want to.
"Nu-uh," I answer her.
"YEs, the other girls are getting their faces washed too," Auntie Nat assures her she won't be the only one getting her face washed.
"We got a movie to watch next, and Zane would make you popcorn, and you can eat all the popcorn you want with your favourite juice," mommy bribes me, that doesn't sound so bad, I want that, I nod agreeing to that.
She had my face washed in no time, then we sat cuddling on the sofa with the two girls and their doms, and watched movies until we all fell asleep, it was the best sleepover ever, even if I was taken home after I fell asleep, I know since I woke up in the middle of the night crying and I was back in mommy's bed and not over the sofa.

"What's wrong baby, what happened?" mommy asks pulling my hands away from my face, I didn't even know I was scratching it so badly, but it hurt, she kept pulling my hands away.
"Let's wash your face yeah," she says taking me to the bathroom, I was too sleepy and tired to understand much of what was going on until I saw my face in the mirror all red, and blotchy.
"Mommy?" I ask afraid, what happened?
"It's just an allergic reaction sweetie, nothing to be afraid of," she assures me but too late, I was afraid, she got some cream and spread them all over my face as I cried.
"Rosabelle, you can't keep crying, I know it hurt, but you're crying the medication away," she says kissing my head, where there was no cream and no red blotch.
"Otay," I say understanding and trying to stop crying.
"Good girl, now open up," she says taking advantage of my tired stage and stuck the pink medicine inside my mouth, making me whine.
"You'll be fine by morning, now close your eyes baby," she says after she was done with the medications and was just holding me up for comfort.

Savage Hunters
Giant monsters roam the land Civilization is frozen in a savage age. For the beast slayer Alden, power and survival are one and the same. The ancient evil that once ravaged his village and murdered his ancestors has returned. At the same time, politics hurls Alden and his crew into gladiator pit battles for control of the throne. When Alden takes possession of a cursed sword promising untold power, the hunter is determined to save his people by slaying every giant monster standing between him and the throne. But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.

A Comprehensive Guide for Alchemy
A guidebook designed for alchemists of every tier to help refine their craft and provide direction. Formed of countless recipes and techniques, developed over the ages by the collective knowledge of our study, this is a definite supplement material for any aspiring alchemist. This discusses not only the recipe itself, giving you instructions for each one, but directs you to things not to do in the recipe. It isn’t uncommon for starting alchemists to unknowingly make a small change, and before they know it… BOOM! For a relatively minor price you too purchase this guidebook and start working towards building up a proper base of knowledge in alchemy. Even those with considerable ability may learn a thing or two from this! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This is purely a guidebook for alchemy in a magical world, and as such contains no story elements. The cultivation (and alchemical) tiers are not at all necessary to understand the book, but exist because in the context of the book it would be important. I'm more than happy to write up any alchemical ideas you've ever had, totally not using this as an excuse to reduce my creative thinking hours... Just PM the idea or post it as a comment in any chapter, with a bit of balancing there's pretty much no idea that can't be done! Hiatus while I focus on shorter stories for competitions

Parental Controls
Reeve Williams always felt more at home in vivid virtual reality than in drab real reality, partly as an escape from the very real embarrassment of her technically inept parents, Walter and Wanda. When Reeve’s parents give her a new total-immersion virtual reality system for her birthday, Reeve reluctantly agrees to show them what it’s like…just for a few minutes. But a mistake only her technophobe father would make leaves Reeve facing the prospect of spending months in the greatly accelerated, fantastically complex, brutally unforgiving game world. With her parents. Posts will be every M/W/F. If I ever decide to try to turn Parental Controls into an ebook, I won't do so in such a way that I'd need to take down what I've posted to Royal Road. Thanks for reading!
