The rain outside was lessened from hail pounding on a tin roof to light spring rain, a few rumbles of thunder rolling by every 10 minutes. The heater inside was cranked up to keep the room at a good, warm temperature.

Ripping open the box for the bassinet, changing table, and small dresser; Oompa, Joocie, and Woolfster were in Laff's room trying to set the three up. Since there was a huge space in the room with Laff’s bed put up in the corner, Laff wanted to have the crib in the same room so the baby would be close by when the late nights and early mornings happen.

In the kitchen, the baby bath was set up as the baby laid inside of it. Laff was right beside him, propping him up with one hand as he washed his body gently with a soft washcloth and baby soap. “T-This is right, right??”

Flipping through the book the furry doctor had, Meme nodded “Uh, yep! This is right according to the book!”

The spaceman besides Laff was fawning over the baby as he rubbed his wet, wispy hair. “Aww, you are just the cutest little boy! Such a calm boy too, you are so calm and quiet.” He chuckled “Laff is going to enjoy these moments like all parents. Oh but don’t worry, when you’re older we will teach you other ways to annoy him.”

Laff rolled his eyes before smirking softly “Mate that won’t work on me..” He looked down at the baby “No matter what, anything he will do will make me happy.” Taking the small cup beside the sink, he filled it with the warm faucet water before pouring it gently on the baby’s body to rinse him off.

Just out of earshot, Dino and Blaza were bickering about what to order for the entire group since the unanimous decision to spend the night at Laff's place. The two were arguing about which pizza place was the best option.

“What are you talking about, Dominos is better! They have great sides to go with the pizza!”

Blaza laughed “You furry you are mistaken! Papa Johns is better!”

Dino stuttered “I-I am not a furry! And you are wrong!”

The Monkey man smirked as he dug through his pocket “Well looks like there is only one way to settle this!” He pulled out a coin “I have ONE golden coin here! And it will decide our fate!”

Laff didn’t look away from the baby as he rinsed off the remaining suds “What are Blaza and Dino going on about?”

Meme looked towards the alcove where the two were watching the coin of fate spin around “I dunno, I think it's about where they’re gonna order our food from…” The clatter of the fallen coin was heard as Blaza let out a loud, distressed sound “And it sounds like Blaza lost..”

Laff let out a soft chuckle as he turned off the faucet, setting the small cup and the washcloth down to the side. “Alright...Socks do you have the towel?”

Quickly picking up a light green frog towel, Socks nodded “Uh-huh!” Laff smiled softly and picked up the baby, turning around and laying him in Socks’s arms to wrap him in the towel. Feeling elated, Socks looked down at the baby as he looked in awe; smiling brightly. “Oh my god...you are so tiny~” The spaceman squealed as he started baby talking with a happy flush on his face.

Meme giggled happily as he blushed softly “Socks really look so cute with that baby..”

Laff looked at Meme and chuckled softly “Well if you two lads tie the knot will you have a child?” Meme’s face flushed red as he laughed nervously and scratched his head “W-Well I-I ummmm-!”

Letting out a soft chuckle, Laff patted Meme on the back as the cookie monster cleared his throat. He smiled softly and walked to the spaceman, taking the baby back into his arms wrapped up in a towel.

"Now that we have you squeaky clean lad, let's get you dressed in a nappy and warm footsie." Laff let out a soft chuckle and walked to the living room, Meme and Socks following behind. He knelt beside the armchair and laid the baby down on the seat as the baby coos and glances around, remaining silent otherwise.

Meme opened up one of the packages of newborn diapers and handed one to Laff "here you go Laff, Socks could you grab the powder and oil?"

Socks nodded and started rooting through one of the bags as Laff's attention was turned to the commotion going on in the hallway. Thumps and incoherent shouts came from the open door as a pair of men stumbled into the room, in a scuffle.

"L-Let me go, I am gonna see the baby first!"

"Like hell you crustacean! Just because you drove us here doesn't entitle you to anything!"

A third young man came into view while scratching his head nervously. "U-uhh...Tbh, Oof, could you two not fight..?" Tbh tore himself away from Oofs grasp and pointed to him "But Tbvg your barbarian of a boyfriend started it!"

Tbvg blushed deeply as Oof got up and tackled Tbh, speaking in time with Tbvg "HE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND!" Tbh let out a shrill scream as Oof pinned him to the ground by the shoulders. Meme jumped up and ran over to try and pry the two apart "Hey hey stop it!!" He grabbed Oof under his arms and tore him off of Tbh as the latter quickly got up and swung a fist at Oof. Oof screamed and ducked; pulling Meme with him as Tbh punched the fireplace shelf, causing a porcelain vase to fall off and shatter on the ground.

Laff jumped at the sound as he taped the diaper on the baby, quickly turning around "Tbh!!"

The sound caused the baby to freeze up in fear, going silent. Socks only managed to slightly glance over once he heard the baby go silent before the baby started wailing loudly.

Laff's eyes widened as he turned back around "Oh n-No No! No lad, don't cry, it's okay!" He quickly picked the baby up and cradled him, trying to soothe him. Oof glared at Tbh as he reached over and hit him over the head "WAY TO GO EINSTEIN!" Tbh hissed softly in pain and hit Oof back "DON'T HIT ME! And shut up! Your yelling isn't helping!" Oof groaned and hit back "No you shut up!!"

Socks groaned and hit them both over the head "Both of you shut up!" Both Oof and Tbh let out a yelp when they were both struck before the three got into a heated argument, Meme and Tbvg left to the side to try and calm the three down. Blaza and Dino overheard the commotion and ran into the room and saw the scene unfold.

Slowly getting frustrated, Laff held the wailing baby in his arms as he tried to soothe him. The fighting from the three was not helping as his nerves became more and more frazzled by the second.

"Can all of you mates PLEASE SHUT YOUR FUCKING TRAPS!?!?!"

The three who were fighting, the two trying to calm those three down and the two left off to the side quickly went silent as the only one making noise was the crying baby. They all turned their attention to the fuming British detective who was trying to calm the baby down.

"All of this yelling and grappling isn't helping in the slightest!!! If any of you had the smarts you would be able to comprehend I am nervous out of my mind wanting to raise this lad, and none of this fighting is helping me in the slightest!! It is making me stressed, and paranoid, and it isn't making the lad calmer in any sense, and-and-and-"

Taking in short, quick breaths, Laff slowly felt more and more stressed and anxious as Blaza jumped, quickly striding over and pulling Laff into the armchair "L-Laff Laff! Calm down-! It's okay!" Tbvg quickly strides over and takes the sobbing baby from his arms as Blaza rubs Laff's shoulder, trying to help Laff calm down.

Socks thumped Tbh and Oof on the head "See what you two did!?"

Tbh rubbed his head "Ow! What 'we' did!?"

Meme glared at Tbh "Don't start!"

Tbvg looked at the baby and bounced the baby a bit "U-Uhh-Umm-" His visor activated as the yellow button started glowing due to his nerves acting up.

The baby hiccupped and whined loudly as he opened his eyes slightly. He sniffled and hiccupped as he tilted his head slightly, staring up at Tbvg's visor with a curious squeak. Tbvg noticed that the baby was calming down as the visor turned off "Huh-?"

When the visor turned off the baby started whimpering, tears threatening to spill out of his eyes.

Tbvg jumped softly as the visor turned back on, the yellow button activating again. When it did, the baby looked back up at him curiously, hiccupping. Tbvg tilted his head "hmm...Oh, does my visor interest you?"

Oof watched the two as he smiled softly -Awww..- Tbh looked at him and snickered "Awww your BOYFRIEND makes a good daddy don't you think??" Oof narrowed his eyes and blushed in embarrassment.

Tbvg groaned softly as the red button activated. The baby calmed down more as he reached up for the visor. Tbvg's eyes widened slightly as he looked down at him. He then smiled softly "Oh my visor does excite you, huh? Well, how about this one?" He smiled more as the green button activated. The baby squealed softly and reached up with grabby hands.

Tbvg smiled softly "so my visor does entertain you" he chuckled softly as he smoothed out the baby's damp hair.

Blaza held Laff's hand tightly as he stayed by his side, rubbing his shoulder as Laff took in soft and slow breaths. Laff sighed softly and rubbed his face with his free hand, trembling softly as he spoke in a quiet voice "t-thank you mate.." Blaza smiled softly and slowly let his hand go "Of course Laff!"

Laff smiled softly as Tbvg walked over, handing the baby back as Oof and Tbh quietly walked over. The British detective cradled the baby in his arms as the baby quietly sniffled and cooed quietly.

"Wow...he's so tiny…" Oof quietly spoke as Laff watched the two. The twister man looked at Laff as he and Tbh knelt beside the armchair "can I hold him Laff?"

Tbh glared at Oof and smacked him "Why should you hold him first!?"

Oof growled and smacked Tbh back "Don't hit me!"

Meme huffed "Neither of you should hold the baby with those attitudes!"

Both of the mentioned men turned and looked at Meme "But Meme-!"

Oompa, Woolfster, and Joocie emerged from Laff's room and came over. The TikTok officer crossed his arms and smirked "And here I thought I was the loudest in the group." He laughed softly as Laff chuckled. Joocie sighed softly and shook his head softly "Tbh don't tell me you are being petty again…"

Tbh laughed nervously and quickly got up "B-babe of course I’m not being petty!" He quickly walked to Joocie’s side as the latter crossed his arms "Uh-huh.."

Oompa looked over at Laff and the baby and giggled "Aww what a cutie patootie! Oh, and the baby is extremely cute as well Laff"

Laff stuttered and blushed deeply "O-Oompa!"

Oompa laughed as Dino shifted through one of the bags of clothes, looking for a cozy pair of pajamas for the baby to wear.
