《Alone (Joocie X Laff!)》12

Laff's point of view:
The world's crumbling.... I'm not sure how much time we've got left. I am currently hiding as I write this; hopefully one finds it someday. I never thought that I'd end up like this... Taking the same steps as my father had.. We don't have an army left anymore. There are only 14 of us left, and at least 1,000 of them. We knew we wouldn't win this, but trying was all that mattered, right?
No... I let down our entire kingdom. They came to Makaes in hope of finding a better life, and I ruined in for them!
It's not over yet. It's like I told our army before they went down; if we go down, we don't go down without a fight. I can't simply hide away and write a note to anyone I've ever known, I've got to fight.
If you don't see anything else written here, I'm dead. If you do, we were successful.

"Up! Everybody up! You all remember what's on the line! If we go down today we go down as true warriors!" Julio's voice rang throughout the camp grounds. Soldiers from every tent came running, all prepared for the tedious trip ahead of us.
I stopped a running soldier who I believe was from tent 14. "Where is Joocie?" I asked.
"I-I'm not sure, your majesty. I believe he's still dressing," she replied with a bow.
"You're free to go, thanks for the help," I said as she ran off.
Just as she'd said, Joocie was still inside the tent. By the time I had reached the front he was already out and ready to leave.
"Joocie, I must speak with you for a moment."
"Uhm- yes?"
"I want you to sit this out."

He looked extremely confused.
"But sir? You need me! We both know that their army is much too large!"
"I pulled you away from your home and I won't let that be the reason you live such a short life. Stay here. That's not a question, it's an order," I walked off leaving a confused soldier behind me.
-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_
"Everyone's prepared? Are you sure Julio? Because I'm not giving up on our kingdom while there's still a chance for freedom," I had almost begun to yell.
"100% sure. Their as prepared as they ever will be. Shall we get going?"
"...."
"Sir?"
"I need you stand behind with Joocie, Julio. "
"But our army is much too small! I can't stand back while others lose their lives!"
"You're like a brother to me, I can't let you die. Stand behind with Joocie and don't even think about the war."
"You've taken quite a liking to Joocie, huh?"
I thought for a moment. I guess I had.
"I suppose I have. Keep him safe for me, will yuh?"
"Of course."
"I'll miss you Julio."
"You won't die! W-we'll talk again, right?" It was the first time I'd ever seen Julio cry.
"I wish we could.... But I don't think I possible for us to get out of this alive. Goodbye, Julio."
"Goodbye, your majesty."

Living in Paradise
The first thing I saw when I woke up was a group of people standing over me shouting "Happy Birthday!!!". Immediately after they start debating what type of world I came from and calling me 'William'. Later on I would learn that everyone here is reborn from another world and many children come with magic or superpowers or other gifts leftover from their old lives. I came from a world that was, to me, typical modernity. To them it was pretty boaring with the only thing interesting about my world being was a higher than average tech level for a non-spacefaring civilization; technology that wouldn't even work in this new world. All I brought with me was a peculiar mindset and the strong suspicion that there must be something more to life. Once everyone started to clear out my mother took me up in her arms, explained how the world works, and then stabbed me in the neck with a knife. I got better. -------------------- This story was written from the central idea of a simple question: What if a videogame like world, with all the normal video-game staples and tropes, was actually a real world? How would that work? How would people understand the universe around them? What sort of weirdness would the world appear to have from the point of view of someone who recognizes the odd nature of the place? And finally, if left to its own devices, how would this type of world ultimately develop?

When he applies to join the United Nations Intelligence Service, they jump at the chance to recruit him - but they have far loftier ambitions for him than making him a simple Analyst. Jumping at the chance to be part of something so great, Aiden accepts their offer. He had no idea the pain and misfortune that awaited him. Sometime later, Aiden wakes up. He has no memory of how he got there or what happened to him - all he knows is that now he's a monster, and R.E.N/D's special operatives will stop at nothing to kill him. The Mountains Of Versailles
We all have defining moments. These are the times in our lives we often reminisce about times we were proud of, or accomplished great feats. This was not one of those times.A quick warning from me before you read! This story has broken characters. They all have flaws and none are perfect. The MC can't fight, he's only a human just 18 years old. As it is tagged with mature you should also know that suicide, while not a core theme plays a part in the story. Abuse both mental and physical as well. Also, I make some really stupid jokes. What do Earth's morals mean in a world where killing is easy? When Bran is tricked by an uninformative and unhelpful goddess he is taken to another world. How will the weak Bran survive in this world without any cheat skills, or even knowledge of the basic human language? Can he possibly find a reason to even try to stay alive in this strange new world? These are all answered in the completely original, no-holds barred story: The Mountains Of Versailles.
