"Thank you, really.. but I have to go. I'm sorry." I said pushing away yet another girl. They were beautiful, really. But I had never been interested in girls, even as a child. I could only ever see her as a friend.

I always thought it was normal that I was never into women.

But now I'm in my highschool years,

I realized that most people don't feel that way.

Getting lost in thought, I accidentally bumped into someone while heading to my locker.

"Oh! Sorry!" I made them drop their things, I felt really bad.

So immediately I gave them my hand to help them up.

"It's fine," They pushed away my hand as they got back up, items back in hand.

They were beautiful,

They were dressed in a orange spacesuit, and had rainbow socks.

"I was lost in thought, I'm really sorry for bumping into you!" I continued to apologize. I couldn't help it, anytime I were to do something like this, I would always apologize, even if it was an object.

"You look nice, What's your name, huh?" I asked the person in the orange spacesuit.

"My name's Nicholas, but call me, Socks. It's what my friends call me."

"Socks? That's cute." I chuckled.

His face flushed, I couldn't tell if he was embarrassed or just surprised.

"Thank you, most people make fun of it, but it wasn't my choice in the first place." Socks responded.

"Nice to meet you, Socks. I'm Laff, but you probably already know that.." He was very sweet, but knowing that most men probably aren't in love with eachother, I couldn't go any further with the small compliments.

"Nice to meet you too, man. Where were you going?" He asked me, looking at the hallway of lockers,

"Just going to my locker. You?"

"I-I don't really know.." he seemed nervous, why?

"Can we be friends..?" He added.

"Sure, no need to be nervous." I smiled at him, as I continued to walk to my locker,

Opening it, I was met with a huge pile of love letters, of course. I sighed.

"Woah! That's a lot of love letters!"

"Yep... That's how it's like being popular...!" I sighed once more as I picked them up, including some of those that dropped on the floor.

Shoving it into my bag, Socks stared at me.

"Are you gonna read any of those..?" Socks seemed extremely nervous, I wouldn't know why.

"I mean, I guess I do have some time.. but I probably won't be able to read them all." Socks looked a bit disappointed, I was really questioning if he was in love with one of the girls that might've confessed.

"Oh, and since we're friends," I paused as I smiled at him, pulling out a small note book from my pocket.

I tore one of the pages out, writing my number down on it.

"Here's my number!" I smiled and waved goodbye as I headed outside, walking back to my house.

He was really beautiful.

I wonder if he would ever love me,

Soon after I arrived home, I immediately ran up the stairs to my room, putting my bag down.

Taking out the pile of love letters.

I sighed, I knew I would never really fall in love with the girls that confessed, but still, something in my head told me to read some of them.

Out of the pile, six stood out to me.

They were all different and vibrant colours.

But one was coloured rainbow.

Well this person certainly has a nice taste for colours.

Opening the letter, it read,

'To Laff,

From S????,

I don't really know how to write letters, but I had to write this to tell you. I'm still questioning my own sexuality, but I am certain that I am in love with you. You're really beautiful.

Every time I see you walk down the hallways, my heart flutters.

I don't have anything on me as of right now, but I promise you, if I could, tomorrow, I will gift you a treat and perhaps, something I crocheted myself.

And I don't know if you would like me anymore if I told you this, but. I can't keep this a secret.

For once in my life, I was finally feeling happy with a love letter,

There was somebody else out there, like me,

It made me really happy.

But I don't know who this person really is, they had only signed off with

'S' followed by four question marks.

Still, it made me really happy.
