《Security》Habits

Everyone started developing weird habits after Joocie died. Socks started spending all of his time on his computer or with Blaza. Blaza started carrying at least 15 golden coins with him. Meme got VERY clingy. Tb started having random mood swings and forgot things easily, with Meme being the only one who could calm him down. Nadwe was very quiet and on the rare occasion he did talk he was really quiet instead of his normal yelling (Unless of course he was with Muffin). Laff WOULDN'T leave his house at all. Dino became very paranoid about everything, he always had to have lights on, he had to check every corner and behind every door before feeling even slightly comfortable in a room. Woolf also was having trouble remembering things and got lost in his thoughts often. And Muffin? Well Muffin started carrying a mini muffin stuffed toy that he wouldn't go anywhere without.
Muffin and Nadwe started hanging out everyday.
"Muffin why do you carry around that muffin toy?" Nadwe asked him one afternoon.
"It just makes me feel safer I guess...," Muffin responded.
"It's cool I understand," Nadwe spoke.
"Who do you think killed Joocie?" Muffin asked, squeezing his toy.
"I honestly have no idea," Nadwe began. "Socks and Blaza have been staying together basically every second of everyday so I don't think it's them unless they're working together, Tb and Woolf seemed really shocked and scared when we found Joocie's body so I don't think it's them, Tb seems to trust Meme so I don't really think it's him, I trust you because we've stayed together everyday, I don't think it's Laff because he's been self-isolating, I guess maybe Dino but I feel like he would kill Woolf not Joocie," He finished.
"I suppose you're right but how do you know Tb and Woolf weren't faking it?" Muffin asked.

"You didn't see the looks on their faces when we found Joocie, there's no way they're faking," Nadwe responded.
"But are you SURE?" Muffin pressed, chuckling.
"I hate you," Nadwe laughed.
"Pfft,"
Muffin and Nadwe kept laughing and had a good day together.
| Idk why I wrote the whole Nadwe-Muffin part I literally had no reason but I did. I'm pretty sure none of you were thinking this but just in case, I'm not shipping Nadwe and Muffin they're just really good friends. |

Rising World
Vonn of Shieldpoint is an ambitious young inventor who, as far as his family knows, just survived a terrible accident. Really, he didn't. Instead a being known as the System has recruited the soul of a modern college student from our world, to fill in for him. Given a new life in a new body, the former human wants to make good use of it and fulfill the dreams of the one he's replacing. He's an Engineer in a world where that's a character class with explicit levels and stats. This world is just discovering the power of steam and clockwork and the occasional magic dungeon crystal, so Vonn is just in time to become a famous genius. He just needs to figure out what the gods actually want from him. (LitRPG Isekai with light but important stats, nonhuman MC. Cover art by Alexandra, https://www.deviantart.com/oktoberbeef .) This book is now available on Amazon! https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B09H5CQSX5 For legal reasons, I need to hide most of the content from Royal Road for now. The version for sale is revised and expanded anyway, including a rewritten opening. If the book does well, that's encouragement to write more of it soon! Reviews are welcome too. As noted in the afterward, it's been fun and useful to share this work with all of you here as I worked on it. Update 2022/2/22: Wow, it did do well! Thanks to all who read, commented, bought, and/or spread the word. Right now I'm working on a side-story about character Selen, and posting that starting yesterday. I do plan to do a true sequel this year, yet.

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.
