"I had a teacher, who told me to do whatever it is that I want to do..." I said with a sad smile on my face

"So what is it that you want to do?" Ameri asked me with a smile

"We talked about that as well... I thought if I was good at this then I should pursue it... But we talked about it some more and he told me to just live in the moment and think about it for your future self." I said with a smile

"You must have a great teacher." Ameri said

"The best... When everyone said we were nothing but trash. He and another teacher didn't give up on us, both tried their best to teach but he was the one who gave us hope that we were something other than trash. And along the way we gained teachers who also didn't give up on us and taught us with all they had...Hehehe. And those teachers including the one who I said was the best, are teachers you wouldn't even expect to be teaching in a school." I explained

"Such an odd bunch but still a respectable bunch." Ameri said

"I know, right!" I said with a smile

"But Nagisa... You still haven't answered my question. What is your ambition?" Ameri asked looking at me all seriously

"I want to become a teacher!" I said

"A teacher?"

"You could say I was inspired to be a teacher because of my teacher. Hehehe." I said getting embarrased

"That's a good job for the future but what about now that you're in highschool?"

"...Well I haven't thought about that yet."

"Then how about raising your rank. That's a good place to start. A student's job is to raise their rank after all." She said

"Raising my rank?"

As I was thinking it over just then the doors suddenly opened creating a large dust cloud

"W-Who's there!" Ameri said getting into a fighting position

"Sorry Nagisa-sama. I didn't mean to interrupt you but in a blink of an eye, she..." I heard Azz say through the smoke but was cut off by Clara saying "Return Nagisa-chi! Re-tu-rn! Him! Now!"

while dragging me out of the room

As Clara was hugging me from behind while Azz was saying that he was regretful that he blinked

I heard Ameri say "Let's end it here for today. Nagisa!"

"Yeah?"

"If you do intend to raise your rank then... I'll wait for the time when you stand next to me."

As I thought about it some more, I heard Clara saying that we should go home now and Azz dragging her off so she wouldn't disturb us making me smile at the sight

-The Next day! Sullivan's Castle-

As my day so far started off the same. Grandpa and Opera woke me up, got ready for the day and now I was eating my fill until...

"Nagisa-kun~" Grandpa said in cloud9

"Yes?"

"I just wanted to tell you that the 1st years are going to choose some elective classes today!" Grandpa explained

"Here you go Nagisa-sama, your tea." Opera said

"Oh, thank you..."

"Grandpa, what are the elective classes?" I asked as I drink my tea

"Here you go, you can see for yourself." He said as he passed me a sheet of paper

As I looked through the options, I couldn't help but not want to take any of them

I looked up from the paper to see Grandpa smiling at me radiating an aura full of bright colors and flowers around him

"Grandpa?"

"Yes?"

"Can I not take any of this electives... None of them catches my attention." I said

"Why of course! They're just optional anyway. But to think none of those classes catches your liking... Don't tell me...! Nagisa-kun... You want to spend that time with your Grandpa?!?" He said shocked as he was jumping up and down all around

"I would love too but I thought of something different... Can I that time going to the library?" I asked

"Of course you can..." He said as he was fishing for something in his pockets

"Here you go." He said giving me a black card

"What's this?" I asked

"Its a library card. More specifically a card that lets you go in the forbidden section of the library. Where only the teachers, librarian and myself have access to. It's called the forbidden section because it's were most knowledge is kept there. It's also acts as a voucher in some cases. It means that I vouch for you. So keep it on you at all times." He explains as he cast a spell on it

"There, so it returns to your pockets when you lose it or gets stolen." He said

I said thank you and went to go to school

"Nagisa-sama, don't forget your bag!"

-Abnormal Class Classroom-

As we were given the paper to chose our elective classes

Azz asked what I wanted to chose only for me to smile and ask "Why not choose what you want to do?"

"But I want to do what Nagisa-sama wants to do." He said

"Well... You want to be useful to me, right? Then how about choosing a class where you enjoy as well as helps you with your fire magic." I said getting him hyped as he choose the class where it teaches you about magic

I got curious at what Clara chose... Only to see she wants to do the seduction class. Getting a shocked response from all of us boys and getting in an argument with Azz

As I recalled Prof. Bitch teaching seduction making me laugh at myself

As we split off to go to our classes, I went straight to the library

I opened the large doors only to be met with silence as nobody was here

I went inside and looked around

'This library is huge!' I thought to myself as I was awestruck at the scale of this place

As I saw a desk with a hooded figure sitting on a chair reading a book

I went to the figure and asked "Excuse me? Can I ask where is the librarian?"

Then I saw the face of the figure and it shocked me to my core

'It's a skeleton!' I thought to myself

"I am the librarian but you can call me Librarian J." The skeleton now known as Librarian J said in a calm tone making me shocked

Maybe I didn't hide my shock looked fast enough as he chuckled and said "Yes, I'm a skeleton to be more specific an elder litch but I'm friendly so there's no need to be afraid."

I started shaking my head saying that it wasn't it, only for him to say "Thank you but there's no need to spare my feelings since I'm already used to it."

"What can I do for you, child?" He asked with a smile as I started to fish out the card

I gave him the card. Saying that he was shock would be an understatement

He then asked to follow him as he started to explain about the card and this library

As he stopped next to the reception area, he went and swiped the card and suddenly 2 new doors appeared

He told me to get him if I need some help but other than that he said to enjoy reading in the forbidden section as he gave me back the card

-Timeskip-

As I read some books about magic tools and just the demon world in general

I found out that it was time to go home, so I returned the book and said goodbye to Librarian J then I went to go find Azz and Clars

(The same happened in the anime. Clara made Nagisa's heart skip a beat)

"Come on Nagisa-chi!" Clara exclaimed as she was dragging me to the gate
