《True Ruler》Familiars are not pets!

Soon after I joined a battra my every day school life went on and became a lot quieter too. I got a hang of how much magic I was allowed to show and I also had soo much fun with all of my friends. Though I must say my class was a little bit weird. Today was no exception.
Alice had his huge phoenix out and Sabnock had his huge Kelpi that was on paar with him. I would say his horse fits his nature and I knew he was a Dandelion anyways.
Both creature were at it's other throats and all our teacher could do was stare at them and be amazaed. Clara also had an animal which was rather small but it had a lot of fun bossing her around. Apparently it was called a FuaFua and it was also rare.
Our teacher began walking around and look at all the different familiars until his eyes got stuck on me and he walked over to me.
Please don't make me call over Kallego-sensei.
Please!
He will be super angry and he might go after you!
He is also a dragon so he is a lot more powerful in this form then his demon form...
And did I also mention that he will try and kill you?!
No?!
Well now I did so please ignore me!
Robin: Okay, the next is... Ah Iruma-kun? What about your familiar?
Shit, what do I do now?
Me: Dead.
Robin: What? Died?!
Well I only said dead.
Not that he died!
You will be the one who is dead by the end of this day.
Robin: As the owner, you must not be afraid of your familiar.
Me: Fine...
Just like that I summoned Kallego as a dragon. Not soon after that he popped up out of nowhere and was a small but huge dragon. He began looking around first until he laid his eyes on Robin.
Kallego: I'll exterminate you!
Robin: Amazing he can talk!
Kallego: *Sigh* I will have your head after this!

I saw throat lighten up and I knew that he was about to use dragons breath. Now that was something I couldn't have and so I used a command and made him stop. Too bad he was already doing the attack and got punished because he went after my will.
Me: Sorry! I didn't think that the punishment would be this hard!
After that Robin let me with my Familiar alone and went to have a look at the other student's one and stop Alice and Sabnock from killing each other.
Kallego: *Sigh* It can't be helped that you needed to summon me. However since you are a dragon yourself. I demand that we get the highest rating for the familiar course.
Me: You hate Robin-sensei, don't you!
Kallego: He is way too loud and disturbs my sleep all the time so of course I have something against him.
Me: I see.
Kallego: Iruma, remember that the blood contract is very strong. The call of the master is absolute and the type of familiar is also affected by the master. That's why I am currently in the form of an ancestor.
Me: ...
Kallego: I know your form is a lot bigger than this one but thanks to you sharing a part of your powers while doing the ritual, I am also a lot stronger.
Me: I see.
Robin then came over to us with a pink ball in his hand.
Robin: Hey, you two, why not play a little bit with the ball.
At his words, I looked at the dragon before me and then back at Robin.
Tell me!
How the fuck do I play with a dragon catch?
If he catches it with his mouth the ball will be destroyed. He also can't throw it to me too...
Me: I'm afraid he can't do that.
Robin: Too bad then your mark will-
Me: Robin-sensei! Did you even think about how he should catch the ball without destroying it or how he will be able to throw it back at me?

Robin-sensei was already about to write the down our points that's when I got a little bit angry and decided to speak up which I normally don't do to a teacher.
Robin: Hm... You are right. How about you ran together then?
Me: If the exercise is about relationship how about I fly on his back?
Robin: I suppose that works too.
Me: Great then that settles it.
I turned back to Kallego and smiled him. He looked like he was unsure and hesitated for a while until he bent down and let me on his back before running a little bit and getting up into the air. It felt soo nice being up in the air that I couldn't help myself but smile. However out little flight was coming soon to an end and I jumped of his back, went in front of him and bowed.
Me: Thank you.
Kallego: No problem kid.
After that we both relaxed and sat down close to each other.
Me: Summoning you in a time of non-emergency causes a lot of trouble to you... I am really sorry for that.
Kallego: Nonsense! I think I already told you that I'll be watching over you and that is final.
Me: But Sensei.
Kallego: No but! Listen Iruma! You are the rightful a heir to the throne. That reminds me. Why didn't you summon me to deal worth Sabnock in that valley?
Me: You and the leader of that valley would get injured not to mention that Sabnock would probably twist that whole story somehow to his favor.
Kallego: I see.
The moment he said that we heard a loud exploitation and saw Alice and Sabnock fighting with their familiars while Robin tried to calm them down. Alice and Sabnock both ordered their familiar to slaughter each other.
Me: Should I or do you want to?
Kallego: *Sigh* I'll do it.
The moment he said that I saw Kallego stand up and fly towards them only to use both of his claws and slamed the familiars head into the ground screaming QUIET! And using dragon breath on the ground in between them for a short while.
Me: That's effective too, I guess...
After that he stopped growling towards Robin. Everyone was scared of him and began backing away.
Kallego: YOU! Tell me, why is trust the most important thing between a demon and a familiar?
Robin: Familiar are partn-
Kallego: GRRR WRONG! This is a way to avoid having your familiar eat you alive!
Robin: But it will get punished.
This was when I walked over to him. I might not be the best knowing about familiars but I had a feeling I knew what Kallego was talking about.
Me: Robin-sensei, I don't want to be rude but he was not talking about that.
Robin: What do you mean?
Me: I'm saying he is talking about what is happening around you right now. Look at Sabnock's and Alice's familiar for example. They are neither pets nor partners. You just whiteness them trying to kill each other. They are a threat to their surroundings as well as to demons and other familiars.
Robin: You say fear is the key?
Me: No what I am trying to say is that a familiar always will be acting upon a motto like this: Fear of the familiar, you lesser devil! It will try to impose and threaten the other showing of its skill at all costs. That is the reality we just witness.
Kallego: And only one managed to grasp the idea of this. You should be all ashamed.
After that everyone began taking good care off their familiar instead of play with them. Me and Kallego were talking together the rest of the time and I told him about Kirio and why I wanted to be part of that battra. All he told me was to be careful and to call him if I ever needed no matter the occasion.

Dark Lands: The Exile and the Prince
A short time has passed since the siege on Ruined Home has been lifted and as the survivors of the battered encampment slowly begin to rebuild their new home, Aurelius has returned from a failed troll hunt. Yet despite the battered prince’s failures, he has set into motion a series of events that will forever change his life. Meanwhile, Iskra has found herself at the helm of a far more favorable position and begins to forge a path that will lead her towards the first steps of a long road of revenge. Author’s Note: This is the direct sequel to the first Dark Lands story and as time goes on I will update the synopsis to help bring further detail about the story. For now however, I hope you all enjoy what is about to be written. Eight Years Arc: Eight Years have passed since Aurelius and Iskra have first met one another, and a lot has changed since then. The vast majority of Aurelius’ family has been slaughtered by the hands of none other than his oldest brother, a man that the golden haired prince had spent the past several years to hunt down and kill all in the name of vengeance. Upon his return, the kin-slaying prince has found that some things have changed during his absence. Iskra, his first wife and love of his life, has proclaimed that she no longer cares about the events that have been unfolding in her former homeland for the last several years and states that she is solely focused on raising her children. Yet it is through learning that the High Elves have taken a keen interest in the once magically-absent lands of Ranislava that Aurelius decides that action must be taken and thus he journeys south to learn more about what his distant kin are up to in such a backwater region of the world. Who he will meet and what he will do will turn the tides of fate, but in whose favor is something that only the Gods will know. (The Eight Years arc is something that was designed to be written in a way where people don't have to feel the need to go back to the very beginning of the Dark Lands story in order to know what is going on or who the characters are.)
