《True Ruler》A bad feeling

Something felt off today. I didn't know what is was until I went to school and was immediately kidnapped to the schools president room.
Me: Please explain why you couldn't just ask me to get here but two people needed to drag me here.
Ameli: I am so sorry for their behavior.
Me: Just explain it.
Ameli: from today onwards you are a member of the student council battra.
Me: Huh?
Ameli: You see, every battra needs at least one member that is in their second school year and since your leader suddenly vanished you battra is left with no one to look over it.
Me: Do we really have to?
Ameli: Unfortunately yes. I would have loved to let you be in there but I can't it's against the rules.
Me: Well there is nothing you can do about it.
And that's how I got myself a place in the school council. There was a lot to do and I never knew that they took care of soo many things but it was sure not something for me. After the first day I was exhausted and grumpy since they didn't let me eat the normal size of portions I had.
Not only that it was always Newcomer-kun do this and do that. Everyone called me the newcomer besides Ameli. She would scream at them and tell them to treat me with respect since she was the only one that knew that I was a dragon but the others didn't really get what she said to them.
As an exercise we would run away from a blood-sucking cayman and at that point I would have loved to do nothing more but to destroy them. Apparently they could feel my mood because they tried to run away from me.
At the end Ameli needed to call the jogging off for me because the Caymans were way too scared to be close to me. It was not as if these creatures would chew on demons flesh and bones if they caught you. That was only something that would count for demons since in the end they were too scared to come even close to me.

All in all the school council was working hard to be in their best shapes and form in order to protect the other students. If there were students that would misbehave they would place them back where they belonged even if that meant using some hard methods.
I was seriously impressed by all the work they did and in the end Ameli made also sure I had a 2 hours break from everything and time to read the dragons chronicles that she had. They were forbidden books but since they now knew and I had full permissions I could read them whenever I wanted.
Me: So peaceful..
Ameli: Huh?
Me: I just realized that you as a president and the you spending time with me reading those are like two different people.
Ameli: I need to be responsible and have this certain air of authority around me if I am out of this room or the others won't be looking at me as they do.
Me: Really?
Ameli: Yes. It's the same with your dragon's aura. It feels heavy and yet it sometimes is calming but also a little bit scary. Then there are these times that I can literally feel the blood lust it is giving off.
Me: Oh..
As she said that the handle of her cup broke and the nice tea cup fell to the ground.
Me: A bad omen.
Ameli: You were saying.
Me: Please be careful this day. I have a bad feeling.
Ameli: I will, thanks for telling me that.
It was only the next day that my bad feeling did came true and it was bad, like really really bad.
I was working in the student council office and we were waiting for Ameli-san to get back from being called out by the broad cast division.

If not for the door to suddenly slam open to the student council room and a panicked student looked at us.
???: I'm from the broadcast division, is your president here?
Me: No but didn't you tell her to go to the preparation room?
???: That's' the thing no one of my battra did that. We all were outside so no one could have called him!
The moment we heard that we all immediately ran out of the room towards the preparation room only to find Ameli laying on the ground unconscious.
Me: Ameli-san?
Every single one of us went towards her and made sure that she was okay. The only problem was that she looked scared of us.
Not only that the days after we found her, every single student stopped seeing her as the same person since she was now all jumpy and scared of everything and everyone.
Today was no different. Me and a couple of other council members were walking behind her as she tried to walk in front but in reality she was walking in the middle of us.
Me: It's attracting attention.
???: Yeah indeed.. but sensei said that if you experience daily life your old personality will return.
Me: You sure.
All this time I have been holding back for the sake of Ameli-san. I was a dragon and I didn't liked being ordered around this was why I had my problems with the students council battra but they were all nice and this was the only reason I was okay with them.
However now that Ameli wasn't being as scary as didn't had the authority around I had a very hard time controlling myself since I would have loved nothing more as to lash out on a couple of students. Back then Ameli would do it before I could but now, nothing was holding me back if not for us hoping she would recover if no one would interfere and we would keep on doing the same things.
Me: We must find the culprit as soon as possible.
???: Yeah but right now we are busy with work of the student council clues are also meager....
Me: Even then there are a couple of things we could do instead of just leaving him be like that. This reputation will get ruined.
???: Hm?
???: What's up?
???: The student council room's door...
Me: What's up with this smell of roses?
???: Roses?
???: Don't tell me!!!
The bad feeling I had was only getting worser with each day.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)

The Pet Dragon
Reborn as a dragon and stumbling through the world the MC feels rather disadvantaged. This story is a writing challenge for myself for fun and I'll start with one chapter every day though they might not be particularly long. I did not plan anything out but I have ideas. Freeform was supposed to be this but my ideas were too complicated and I couldn't keep myself from overthinking it. Well, that failed. I will resume this story at a later date.
