《Save The Netherworld, Iruma-Kun!! || A WTDSIK Fanfiction》Chapter 19: Letting go

The man only walked a bit into the house before he jumps back, Cebreus barly missing him, although it slides to a stop behind him. Kalego raised his hand, and Azazel has started glowing- It may have been a scary situation but Iruma thought it was cool that Azazel glowed.
"Balam take the kids and get upstairs!" Opera yells, and suddenly Ameri and Asmodeus are squished against him as well as Balam runs up the stairs, Iruma seeing Kalego tackle a young boy- Kirio! Iruma's eyes widden as Kirio stares at him, absolute hate in his eyes and Balam continued running up the stairs.
He held onto Balam as the man rushed up the stairs, running into the first avalible room-Iruma's room- before shutting the door. Bunji was sitting by the door, fur pricked up as Balam dropped the children on the bed, Vines blocking the door as someone slams against it, banging on the door.
"Open the door Balam, and this will be all over. Your kids won't be harmed." There was no windows in Iruma's room. They were trapped here, in the small room that had served as Iruma's for a couple of weeks now. Bunji was standing beside Balam, fur pricked up and hissing at the door. It scared him.
"Take a deep breath, and step back, it's going to be okay Iruma." Alikreds voice wafts out in his head. "I won't let Baal touch you. It doesn't matter if I'm trapped in this ring." Iruma nodded, putting a hand to his chest, trying to calm down his racing heart.
"We need to find a way out of here." Ameri says, looking around the room. "Iruma!" The boy nearly jumps a foot in the air. "Do you have any secret passageways in your room? Any place we can quickly escape?"
"I- i don't know- I don't think so- I-..." Iruma takes a deep breath. "I don't have anything really. We're stuck here."

"No, there must be some way out of this, come on!" Asmodeus frowns. "They're attacking them downstairs, if we don't get out of here we very well be next to be attacked." He starts pacing, and Balam glances around the room. "Maybe a secret place or-"
"Or we can smash through a wall!" Clara grins, and Iruma glanced over at her. It wasn't out if the way, and it was possible... Balam looks up, his face unreadable, before a vine climbs up to the ceiling, slamming through it, other vines sheilding the children from the falling debris.
"That actually worked." Asmodeus frowns, and Ameri nodded, grabbing onto one of the vines as it formed a sort of staircase up. Iruma paused by Bunji as the person continued to slam against the door, but not being able to get through. Alikred was talking, telling him to flee, but Iruma wasn't really listening to his other guardian, instead looking back at Balam, who made no indication he was going to move.
"Dad..?" Iruma calls out, and Balam falters, looking back at Iruma. "Arnt you coming with us...?"
".... You four have to get out of here. I'll make sure they won't follow you, and we'll meet up-" Balam yells in pain as an arrow suddenly sprouts from his shoulder, stumbling back as he glares at the door. Robin steps into the room, a grin on his face.
"Knock knock."
"Iruma, go!" Bunji roars, running at Robin, who only stands there, before dodging the cat, arrow suddenly in his hands before-
"BUNJI MOVE!" The draconcat has no time to dodge as two arrows are suddenly lodged in his throat, and the cat stumbles back, gold blood pouring from the wounds as it collapses next to Iruma. "Bunji! Oh god- oh my god-" Iruma doesnt even know what he's saying as his hands shake, touching his pet- no, his friend.
"My friend... my boy... my companion." Alikred says, distraught evident in his voice, and Iruma feels himself choke up.

"See, this wouldnt have happened if you would have just cleanly come with me, Balam." Robin says in a singsong voice, and Iruma doesnt know what to do. He could use a spell- but he didn't know many of them, and the ones he did know wernt for fighting. Bunji meows and Iruma wipes his tears away, petting his friend as the light drains from Bunji's eyes and the cat is no more.
"Iruma, you need to get out of here." Balam's voice is voice of emotions, his face stone cold, and Iruma wipes away his tears again.
"I-i can't- Bunji-I-" He chokes, and Robin whistles.
"I'm not attacking a crying child." He hums. "It'd be rude." Somethins shoved into Iruma's hands, and he realizes that it's Balam's mask. The demon smiles at Iruma a bit, patting his head.
"Hold this for me, okay? I love you." Iruma doesnt even get a chance to process before he's grabbed and shoved up into the ceiling, a vine grabbing him around the waist and yanking him up.
"No, wait- dad!"
-
"Wheres the brats?" Baal frowns as Robin only drags an unconcious Balam down the stairs. Two arrows were sticking out of the mans chest, but Baal was sure he was alright. "I wanted him alive, Robin."
"He is alive." Robin was limping, his midsection covered in blood, gold blood caked on his hands. "Balam shoved the brats into a attic space that we didnt know about. Once I got up there they were gone. Managed to kill the cat though."
"You kiled the false demon kings pet? Congratulations." Baal picked up Opera with a small huff, grabbing Henri as well. "You two did an actual good job! I mean, look what we did!"
"Where's the brats?" Baal asks as Kirio drags down an unconscious Balam. The man had put up a fight, Robin stumbled after Kirio as they walked down the stairs. "I wanted Iruma alive." The living room was a disaster. The fight that had broken out was rough, and Kalego would have successfully killed Baal if it wasn't for Kirio jumping on his back. Intimidating Henri to weakness was easier, however, and beating him was fun. A little filler for Baal before he went against Opera. He didn't need the cat alive, ofcourse, but maybe it'd be nice to have a thing to play with when he was bored.
"We destroyed a living room?" Robin says, and Baal huffs. Why did he pick the two idiots to work with? Right, because Kirio was a freak and excellent for his plans and Robin was powerful
"We captured the last person we need to take over the Neatherworld. After we take it over, I'll be able to go to the human world. Then we'll begin my other plan."
"Plan?" Kirio looks at him, and Baal chuckles.
"Finding Delikra's little brat and killing him. Then killing the rest of the humans in the human world, although I may leave some alive." Baal stretches, fixing Opera on his shoulder. "We need to get going. I'm sure those brats are going to tell someone about what we did."
"Who are they going to tell? Nobody would ever belive them." Kirio laughs, and Robin nods quietly, tying Balam up better.
"Although, someone might." Robin says, looking over at Baal, who frowns. That was a possibility, but he had to plan for that. He'd send these two idiots to search once he was finished taking these ones back to the prision.
"Nobodies going to. I'll quell anything that starts." Baal says. "Gather them up, I'll send someone to find those brats before I take over." Robin huffs as Baal continues dragging Henri and Opera away, struggling with Balam a little.
"Kirio, can I get some help here?" The demon says, inching the man along. Kirio only flicks him off.
"You took him down, you get to drag him back."
