《Sunlight Through The Curtains》We're not telling Janet, right?

"Guys? Where are Sam and Bucky at?" John asked as he looked up from his computer. They had all stopped arguing after 30 minutes of collective sulking and Louie and Meg had joined the group in the kitchen.
"Aren't they in their bunk?" Louie asked.
Danny got up to check since he was closest to their door. "Sam? Bucky?" He said after he knocked. Danny glanced back at the group and shrugged. He cracked the door open a bit and peeked inside before closing the door again. "They're not in there."
Andrew pulled out his laptop and tapped into the boy's communicators. "Their comms are off. The last location ping sent out was.." he paused for a second as he zoomed in on the map, "fuck. They're at the base already. How did they manage to get out there without any of us noticing?"
"I could hear you all fighting from my bunk. You guys were probably too busy yelling at each other. Now why they ran off without telling anyone is unbeknownst to me but we have to find them. If their comms are broken, they could be in trouble." Louie said in an exasperated tone.
The team suited up in their Hydra officer uniforms and gathered in the kitchen.
"We're not telling Janet, right?" Danny asked while pinning his fake ID to his shirt pocket. If they didn't die in the hands of Hydra, it would be Janet to take them out.
"Nope." Said Andrew and Meg.
"Definitely not" replied Louie
"Hell no" John said.
"Great! Let's go."
They all headed out of the jet and made their way into the forest using the coordinates of the boy's last location to guide them.
The sun was beginning to rise, dark sky slowly becoming lighter. The smell of dew and pine is what John chose to focus on during their walk.

"Do we have a plan?" Andrew asked in a hushed voice. No one knew how far out they would station security.
"Not really. Be prepared for anything, be ready to improvise, look out for the boys and Marie, and use your comms." Meg replied in a similarly hushed tone.
————————-
"You think they know we're gone yet?" Bucky asked as he helped Sam sit up.
Bucky had woken up a few minutes before Sam. They were in a cell. Doors locked, obviously, and no windows. The room was empty except for the boys.
"Heh, probably." Sam pushed himself up into Bucky's arms. His eyes were half closed, still trying to shake the lingering dizziness. "How long has it been?"
"I'm — not sure." Bucky let Sam rest his head against his shoulder. "They took our comms." The two were lucky to be put in the same cell.
Sam began to stand up before Bucky pulled him back down. "There's no way out. I've already tried." Bucky explained gesturing to the barely noticeable dent in the concrete. Sam sat back down reluctantly and resumed his position, leaning against Bucky. They sat together in silence unsure of what to do. It had only been a minute or so before Bucky spoke up.
"I'm sorry if I pushed the shield on you. It's your choice what to do with it." Bucky said suddenly.
Sam looked at Bucky with a soft smile. "It's okay. I'm just.. nervous. There's never been a black Captain America. I don't know how people will react. We'll talk about it more when we're not trapped in a Hydra base."
"Yeah. I get that." Bucky said looking up at Sam. "You'd look hot in the suit though." He grinned. Sam laughed and rolled his eyes.
—————————————
"Where the hell would they be?" Meg asked as they walked in like they owned the place.

"The scans of the base were all messed up because of the building structure, but the cells are probably toward the back of the base. Hydra has a pattern in their designs. Electric is in the center, surrounded by all sides, the "labs" if you could call them that, are always in the basement, makes them harder to locate, and the cells are at the back. Furthest from the entrance." Andrew said, much less confidently than Meg.
The group of five made their way through the base undetected. "Stiffen up John. You too Andrew. You look scared." Louie whispered between them.
John cleared his throat. "We should be reaching the back of the building soon. Be ready."
They approached a door with two guards. "ID's,"one said harshly. The group looked toward Danny, expecting him to go first. It was his design after all. Danny took a breath and scanned his badge. "Richie, Adam. Level 4." The monotonous voice announced. Danny started to grin but stopped himself before anyone could notice. Of course his fake badges would work! (Though he failed to mention the fact that it had been John who installed the tech but Danny felt that was an unnecessary detail)
The rest of them filed through the door with no issues. "They're in that one." Louie said, nodding to the door with 4 fully armed guards standing in front of it.
"Checks out." Danny nodded. "Now what?"
"The guns. Their Parker's I.C.E.R prototypes, shouldn't kill them, but will knock them out long enough for us to get Sam and Bucky out." John said as they walked over to the door.
"Who better to test a possibly lethal weapon on than some nazis." Meg said under her breath as she and the other four pulled out their I.C.E.R.s at the same time. "Hands up and we'll shoot!" Meg yelled.
A few Hydra agents wearily put their hands in the air. They were shot first.
"Damn. Can't listen can you?" Andrew quipped.
Meanwhile the four agents guarding the door had their very real, very lethal guns pointed at the team.
"One. Two. NOW!" Louie yelled, signaling the group to shoot the guards.
"Oh fuck." Danny looked at his shoulder. The bullet had skimmed the outside, making a deep cut through the skin but not leaving the bullet stuck. "MISSED ME, MISSED ME, NOW YOU'VE GOTTA KISS ME! Motherfucker! That shit hurts."
"Are you going to be okay?" Louie asked.
"It's fine I've had worse."
"Let's get the boys"
Andrew unzipped the front of his uniform, grabbed a round device from the inner pockets, and placed it on the doors key pad. He pressed a couple of buttons and the device gave a hiss and a puff of smoke.
Meg rushed forward and kicked the door open revealing Sam leaning against Bucky's shoulder, both men sitting on the floor as if this was their leisure time.
"Did you two just give up or something?" Meg asked throwing her hands up in the air.
"We've only been in here for like 10 minutes. We took a break." Sam said quickly recovering from the initial shock of the door being busted open.
"And there was no way out from this side. I tried." Bucky pointed to the small dent in the wall.
Louie rolled her eyes. "Well no more breaks, we have a kid to save" she said while tying a piece of fabric around Danny's arm.
