《Why me? // Quackbur(Tnt duo)》-9-

It was already dark when I entered the casino. It was a lot fuller than the day before. A pungent smell hit my nostrils, a mixture of alcohol and cigarettes. How could Quackity have stayed in here for so long? I was also a smoker, but I didn't smoke as bad as what was smoked here. I looked around, almost all the gaming tables were full. Several from the SMP were seated at a large table and seemed deep in conversation. Now all I could really do was wait. I walked on, sat down on one of the bar stools, and ordered a shot. After less than a minute the bartender came and handed me my drink. As I drank it, I let my eyes wander around the casino. After a few minutes of sitting still, I got a message:
Quackity whispers: I got it!
I had to smile he was fast. The next moment someone came storming through the door. But it wasn't Quackity as expected, it was Karl.,, Dream?" he shouted. Shit. What did he want now? Panic rose in me. Had he overheard or followed us? "Quackity stole your book." What? How did he find that shit. That messes everything up. Me and Dream jumped at the same time, but while Dream was still staring at Karl, I ran towards the door.,, Hold on, Wilbur wait!" he called after me and wanted to stand in front of me, but I just pushed him aside and ran out. A wave of cool air hit me as I made my way through the night to our agreed meeting point. I had to hurry, probably the others were already looking for us. I hadn't checked the chat since but there must have been more than 50 messages written in the last minute. Past the big fountain and along the other casinos. I ran towards a forest where a dark figure was standing. He seemed to have already noticed me, because he came towards me a bit.,, Do you have it?" I asked, "Yeah, but-" he stopped as shouts could be heard in the distance, "What's going on?" he asked in surprise. The voices grew louder. To see how much ahead we had. The forest was gloomy and because it was night it was also dark. Now and then I could see a dim light appearing and disappearing between the trees behind us. After about 10 minutes it got lighter and we stepped out of the forest onto level ground. The moon shone brightly, telling us that the night had only just begun. It was a beautiful sight. If we weren't in such an awkward position, it would remind me of a date. Unfortunately it wasn't, although I wouldn't mind going on a date with big Q. I looked at Quackity, he stared longingly into the distance for a few more minutes. Then he caught my gaze and turned around.,, You figured it out didn't you? I mean that we stole the book." I nodded silently. What should I have said?

He continued to look at me silently. His eyes shimmered in the moonlight. They were beautiful eyes. I could lose myself in them. Like in an ocean so deep. I approached him a little. He did nothing. I took another step towards him and was about to bend down. When something cracked behind us. Quackity and I pulled apart and looked in the direction but couldn't see or hear anything. "Come on, let's move on." I whispered to him. He nodded.
We went on and had already walked over the straight level for a while when I got a bad feeling again. I looked around but couldn't see anything. We arrived at the end of the level. A deep abyss opened up beneath us. Full of lava and monsters A shiver ran down my spine because I didn't want to fall down. Looking to the side, I saw Quackity standing very close to the edge. Too close. He seemed lost in thought. What is he thinking about? I stepped up to him and wanted to tap his shoulder because if an arrow hit him here now... he would fall into the lava and probably die. I stepped next to him and looked down as well. The lava had a pleasant color I was about to start speaking. When... stop! Dont move!" If I could have guessed, this calm was too treacherous. You can come now." how many there would be. Definitely Dream, George Karl and maybe Sapnap too. We got you!" a voice called out to you I would assign to Karl.,, Karl? What do you want with the bow?" Fundy probably asked uncertainly. "Put an end to that here." he said. The next moment I felt a sharp pain in my shoulder and stumbled forward a little. Where certain death would await me...

Chronicles of Rathia - The Era of Blood
Welcome to the Chronicles of Rathia. Contained within is a trilogy of stories which are all set in different time periods and with different characters. Each story has its own era from The Era of Blood, The Era of Magic and The Era of Demons. Read along the first in the series which is The Era of Blood where magic is still in an infant stage and where swords can dominate the battle field. In The Era of Blood, you follow along the first main character who had his memories wiped clean except for the most basic things in life. It is up to him to find out how to get his memories back and why they are gone. (If you don't like the story layout or characters, I suggest either just reading through or wait till the next one in the series is being released. With how it's set up, you can enjoy any of the three in the trilogy but of course reading in order will help give a better understanding of the world.) (Side authors note - I'm currently reworking the first several chapters as they are lacklustre to myself since they were originally a draft and not concrete at first. This note will stay here until all the chapters I wanted to fix up are done.)
