Rylee and I arrived at the beautiful resort we were booked in. Not to my surprise that my mom only booked one room. I figure since we're still new to each other, it's best to book another room.

Our first day, I didn't really care where Rylee had to go. She invited me to some places but I rejected them all. I instead avoided her at all cost. Why? Because I don't feel any obligations to follow her around.

Our three day trip ended quick and just like that, we were on our way back.

"I want to talk to you," Rylee said. It has been a day since we've return. Our parents have called us to meet them but I won't. I need to catch up on the work that I left.

"Not now, Rylee. I have important matters to go to," I fix my hair and turn to her. "You can go to see our parents yourself. Give them what they want to hear." I look around for my keys and once I found them, I left.

Why is Dawson acting like a jerk, an ass? Maybe she is a cold heart. I think the trip was just a waste of money. I didn't have fun at all and Dawson ignored me. Now that I have to go to our parents alone, what am I suppose to say? I could just be honest but I don't want to trouble Dawson. They'll rip her into pieces.

"Where is Dawson, Rylee?" My mother in law ask. I try my best to smile at her.

"She had an important meeting and couldn't make it," I lie and I hate lying.

"Well come on in."

Once I'm in, I went to hug my mom tightly. I miss her and my dad.

"Oh baby, are you okay?" She ask when we pull away from each other. I fake smile.

"I just missed you a lot."

It's the trip itself that made me sad. Like Dawson really didn't care. This marriage was a mess from the start and I can't do anything about it. I guess I can say that I'm committed, but I don't think Dawson is. I guess that I really like Dawson and she doesn't feel the same towards me. It's just a one sided love. Love... I love Dawson? It's too short to call it love.

"So how was the trip?" That was the golden question they all want to ask.

"It was great, Dawson and I had a great time at Panama," I lie again and feel guilty.

"Show us a picture. I want to see one."

"Oh, we didn't take any pictures. We figure that we shouldn't take any because we rather enjoy ourselves."

"Ohh," they all say as if they understand.

"Yeah."

After returning home, I couldn't help but cry. I don't know why I'm crying but the tears kept falling. I don't know when was the last time I had cried also. After crying, I feel much better and I try not to think much of the trip or Dawson.

So I figure since I still have some time, I should go do what I love best. I pack and carry my duffel bag to the car and got out.

I get into my skating arena, change, and quickly get on the ice. With music in my ear, I begin to skate.

I breathe hard as I finish with the music. I pull my headphones down to hang on my neck and then hear claps. Looking where's it's coming from, I see Heidi.

"That was beautiful, I believe you've just created a masterpiece, Rylee," her powerful voice somewhat echos in the arena.

I breathe fast and try to control my breathing.

"How long have you been here?" I ask breathlessly.

"Long enough, Ice Queen," she gets onto the ice and comes to me. "The piece was really emotional, did something happened?"

I look away and shake my head. "I'm always emotional," I skate away and Heidi follows.

"Not as emotional as this. I see that you've pour your heart into it. If you need, I also took a video," I stop and turn around.

"Every piece that I do, I make sure people feel what I feel. It's no different."

"But Rylee, you're sad. I can see it."

"I will be fine after a few minutes."

"Does it have something to do with Dawson? Well it must."

I turn and skate away. "It's none of your concern."

I cross my legs and lean back onto the chair. Reece in front of me keeps talking about her relationship with her girlfriend, two years and they're still strong.

"I found it really surprising. You and Rylee, it just don't seem real." said Reece.

I reach for my coffee and smile. "That's because there was no relationship from the start. There was no consent from Rylee and I."

"Do you like her?" Reece ask. I take a sip of the coffee as I think about the question.

"I do."

"What about love?"

"I'm not sure."

There was a few questions thrown at me and I answer them all truthfully. The questions also related to Panama.

"Who do you think you are, Dawson? Rylee, the Ice Queen, in the palm of your hand. She is rare and you should be clutching on her and never let go. Don't be stupid," Reece shakes her head. "How you left her alone, she could've got hurt. Then what will your explanation be? Oh, I didn't want to be with her? No. Take ownership of the marriage."

After Reece calm down, she apologized. Honestly, I wasn't effected by her scolding. I acknowledge that what I did in Panama was wrong, but it's over now. I left and came back home. Rylee isn't here. She's either at my parents or somewhere else. But thinking about where she may be, worries me.

C'mon Dawson, you have a wife now. Do something about it.
