"I'm sorry."
Jimin sighed, dabbing a wet cloth across Jungkook's busted lip gently. He wiped away the blood as carefully as he could, frowning each time Jungkook winced. "I bet you're not going to like this but," Jimin paused. "I don't think we should do... Whatever this is, anymore."
Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows, leaning away when Jimin tried to wipe away the blood around his nose. A frown tugged at his lips, pulling his hand away from where he held Jimin's.
"You don't even know what we are, and you're trying to break it off." Jungkook spoke, staring into the older's eyes. Jimin didn't answer right away, instead leaning forwards once again and dabbing at Jungkook's bloody nose.
"It's for your own good." He mumbled, wincing along with Jungkook as he touched upon a tender spot on the younger's nose. "You got hurt because of me, you'd be safer if you stopped coming around."
"I didn't get hurt because of-" Jungkook began, Jimin quickly cutting him off.
"It was a carefully orchestrated plan, Jungkook." Jimin grumbled. "Hoseok and I... Aren't on good terms. Haven't been for awhile. He purposefully lured you in. He knew that you'd follow the moment that he mentioned my name. If you didn't do it willingly, he probably would've found a way to get you there using some other strategy." He put his towel down, unwrapping a bandaid. "They wouldn't've done this if you didn't know me."
"I thought you said that they're your friends." Jungkook frowned, watching as Jimin leaned up to stick the bandage on his forehead.
"I lied." Jimin sighed, leaning back down and lifting up Jungkook's shirt. He immediately hissed, upon seeing the colourful bruises around the younger's ribcage.
"Then who are they?" Jungkook asked, voice strained with pain as Jimin pressed against his side gently to assess the damage.
"I can't tell you that." Jimin huffed.
"What do you mean you can't tell me?" Jungkook asked, his frown not seeming to be leaving his face anytime soon.
Jungkook's thoughts were filled to the brim with confusion. Never would he imagine that the intriguing make he met at the club that one night, could turn into such a mystery.
"I just can't." Jimin mumbled, tugging Jungkook's shirt back down and shaking his head. "But if you stay with me it's just going to happen again. I just know it is. Hoseok doesn't let up, and if Yoongi and Taehyung are helping him now then they probably wouldn't hesitate to in the future."

Jimin knew he shouldn't care. He shouldn't give a damn about what danger he might be putting Jungkook through. The whole point of the sins was to harm human beings, not care for them.
"What the hell Jimin?" Jungkook breathed, meeting gazes with the older once again. "Are you in a gang or something like that?"
Jimin hesitated.
He broke free of Jungkook's gaze, casting his towards the bedsheets.
"I can't tell you." He sighed, Jungkook's eyes widening.
"You are!" He exclaimed, Jimin immediately shaking his head and shushing him.
"I'm not in a gang, Jungkook." He spoke. "But I'm also not the safest people to be around."
It was only then that Jungkook noticed the one thing that was different about Jimin. He could see, peaking out from under the older's shirt collar, a scarred area of skin that somewhat resembled a burn.
It wasn't there before, Jungkook know that for sure.
"What do you owe someone money?" Was Jungkook's next question, attempting to wrap his head around how this angel faced man in front of him could be dangerous in any way.
"No." Jimin was trying to find a way to get himself out of the situation he was currently in. He couldn't just outright tell Jungkook the truth. Not only would that probably get him another punishment from the devil, but it's not like the younger would believe him anyway.
"Then what, Jimin?" Jungkook huffed, leaning forwards and resting his hands on Jimin's thighs. "How could you be dangerous?"
Jimin raised an eyebrow, trying to decide if he should have one last bit of fun before separating himself from Jungkook. His eyes flicked down to wear Jungkook's hand rested, sighing softly and leaning forwards.
He was Lust after all, it was simply his job.
"You don't even know the half of it." Jimin whispered, placing his hand on top of Jungkook's bruised one.
"Then tell me." Jungkook huffed, leaning closer and staring deep into Jungkook's eyes. "I'm not leaving until you do."
"Guess you're staying here forever then." Jimin smirked, leaning forwards and pressing a soft kiss to Jungkook's cheek, careful not to apply too much pressure to any of his injuries.
He decided then, that he might as well have a bit of fun before getting rid of his favourite human.

Jungkook sighed and allowed his eyes to close, all doubts about Jimin leaving his mind for a moment as he breathed in the older's distinct scent. So intoxicating. Wiping his mind of everything else and just replacing it with want.
"How do you do that?" Jungkook breathed, pulling Jimin onto his lap and sighing as the older sucked softly on the skin of his neck. He really wanted to push him away and ask for answers, but what he felt then reminded him of how he felt the night he and Jimin first met.
He just wanted Jimin to give him everything, so that he could take it all.
It was if Jimin flicked a switch, leaving Jungkook's thoughts clouded with need.
He didn't care about the pain he felt with each deep breath, because bruised ribs didn't matter when he had the opportunity to feel all of Jimin once again.
"Do what?" Jimin asked softly, pressing a gentle kiss against a bruise that bloomed against the younger's jaw.
"I want to be mad at you." He sighed, bringing his hand up and combing it through Jimin's hair. "But I can't. I want to push you away and demand answers, but my body won't let me." He wrapped his other arm around Jimin's waist, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. "How do you do that?"
Jimin shrugged, slipping his hands underneath Jungkook's shirt and running his fingertips against the bruised skin as gently as he could.
"Same reason I'm so dangerous, and same reason Taehyung rendered you defenceless." He breathed, tongue swirling against Jungkook's collarbone. "Secret."
"So many secrets." Jungkook huffed, gripping Jimin's hips and pulling him impossibly closer. "You don't make any sense. What are you guys, Wizards?"
"Worse." Jimin chuckled, listening to Jungkook gasp as he bit down just below the younger's collarbone.
"Worse?" Jungkook thought for a moment, using his grip on Jimin's waist to guide the older as he began to roll his hips against him. "A hypnotist?"
"So much worse." Jimin smirked, pushing up the material of Jungkook's shirt until the younger had to lift his arms so that he could pull it off of him.
Jungkook raised an eyebrow, sliding his hand around so that it rested on the older's belt buckle.
"How much worse can you possibly be?" Jungkook asked, sliding his hand upwards once more so that he could tug off Jimin's shirt as well. He immediately ducked his head down, licking a long stripe up Jimin's neck until he reached his jawline. He bit there softly, before whispering into the older's ear breathily. "Hate to break it to you baby, but you don't seem all too dangerous to me."
Jimin felt a shiver go down his spine due to the feeling of Jungkook's breath against his skin; leaning back on the bed they sat on and pulling the younger down with him as carefully as he could. He was going to miss Jungkook after inevitably kicking him to the curb, his slightest gestures always affected Jimin more than any other human could even dream of.
But one last night with him might tie over his desire for a little bit.
It was just too dangerous to keep up whatever relationship they had. Although it had only been just over a week that they'd known each other, if the other sins were already targeting him then he was in trouble.
Jimin was just trying to show him a good time, not get him killed.
"Oh, if only you knew." Jimin sighed, resting his arms around Jungkook's neck and looking up at the younger.
He noticed how Jungkook winced as he shifted his body weight, an idea jumping to mind. Jungkook didn't even realize what was occurring at first as Jimin flipped them over, the late afternoon sun filtering through the window and giving his skin a golden glow as he sat atop the younger's hips.
"Well then what are you?" Jungkook laughed softly, taking in a shaky breath as Jimin began to roll his hips once more, half lidded eyes staring him down with a sultry gaze. "The devil?" He joked, although the glint in Jimin's eyes after he spoke had him gulping.
"Close enough." Jimin breathed, hands going down to the button of Jungkook's jeans.
"Do you really expect me to believe that you're as evil as the devil?" Jungkook rolled his eyes, helping Jimin to slide his jeans off.
Jimin shrugged.
"I'd say I'm a bit nicer than she is."

Beast
A threat to the galaxy has come from another, and the Union of intelligent life will go to any length to stop it. Military Quarantine has held for hundreds of thousands of cycles. Traders, merchants, colonists, and Pirates live risky lives along the fringes as the politics from the inner systems fail to see the larger threats beyond their borders. A lone human finds himself far from home with no memories to how he arrived. A failing Trade vessel plays on a desperate gamble, while a malicious parasite searches for a suitable host. ............................................. Author's note: Beast is a story that I wrote a long, long time ago. Some of you might have read it then, back when it was posted on reddit over at r/HFY. It was my first webfiction and made in the spirit of that subreddit's "genre" of humanity being awesome. But, it is also a story that has bothered me a little bit. Just like most new writers tend to do, I made mistakes and errors that feel painful to reread. A Space Opera will be a Space Opera, but I had prose that makes present-me cringe. Still, at the same time, the story is still very much a tale I've never given up on. It was my first adventure into fiction: Beast was a crazy adventure with bodysnatching aliens, galactic war, threats from across the universe... Posting this story here is a way to try and redeem myself a bit. I won't call it a complete rewrite, because it's not, but I have wanted to go through and correct some of the major issues Beast has for a long time and put it somewhere more accessible to read (instead of as posts/comments on reddit) and I figure that now is as good a time as any. Additional corrections you might notice are welcome.

A spiraling doom awaits the world of Isulia. **************** I put the gore and traumatizing warnings not because my book is overly gory. However, there are a few moments that may be traumatizing to some people. As for the gore, it shows up fairly often but not extensively. I've always loved violence in movies and books, (The Boys, Banshee, Kingdom of heaven, Vikings, etc.) I am descriptive of the scenes with gore. So be warned :) I have multiple MC and as a nooby writer, I've had a harder time writing from a female POV. Just a heads up. Don't kill me if I make the woman in my book seem weird. After the Long Burn
After the longest exodus in human history, a terrible accident threatens to turn the salvation of humanity into its most desperate struggle for survival. From the ashes of calamity rises a new human story. A frustrated scientist dedicates her life to recreating the Earth in alien soil, while another is gunned down for his sin and sets off a chain of events culminating in a desperate escape across the void for an opportunity at redemption. Around a distant moon a deep space miner stumbles onto a secret, the key to which lies buried inside his own tortured mind. After the Long Burn is an anthology of short science fiction stories set in the distant Ionad System. Author's Note: I thought I might try something a little different with this story. Rather than one story, it is six stories of varying length, each taking a slightly different perspective to tell a larger story. Some are more actioney, others more cerebral but I hope there will be something for everyone. Stories over 7000 words, with the exception of the titular After the Long Burn, will be published in two parts. I anticipate an upload schedule of one part every other day.

Children of The Sky: Heartcore
In the realm of Yggdrasil, there exist nine worlds. Each and every world has unique stories to tell, but there was one that stood out--The Floating World of Speir. In the land of Speir, the impossible does not exist; this world has given birth to thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of tales, fables, and legends. The fight for the fate of the world is a common occurrence and the neverending stories of the people which reside in it were all, by itself, always unique and interesting. Now, after many aeons have passed, the world has changed. Not only the power of magic could shape reality, technology also has the ability to change the world with just a thought. And from the world where futuristic technology meets magic, I have chosen to tell you a story, a story picked from countless others. This is the story of a boy who recently entered the prestigious, and the most powerful academy in all of the nine worlds--Yggdrasil Academy, to fufill his dream. What is his dream, you might ask. Well, allow me to show you the life of Reynard Foxtale, one of The Children of The Sky. *Warning. For those who don't like lengthy explanations or long talks, this might not suit your taste. However, the setting of my story does not adhere to most of the main stream fantasy/sci-fi settings. So, you might find my ideas unique or a little too weird and complicated or both. Whatever opinions you might have, I truly thank all of you who are willing to spend your time to read my story. *The cover (which is a picture I do not own) is not in any way an accurate depiction of the world in the story. P/S I will post this story on FictionPress as well. P/P/S I'm relatively new to this website, so if I made any obvious (to regulars) mistakes, please tell me. P/P/P/S Will update every two weeks. *Important: In Hiatus for now. **13/7/2017 Update. Check chapter nine (and maybe ten) post-chapter note.
