I woke up after my short nap and checked the time. It's six thirty?! I slept for too long. I had slept for four hours which should be enough for the next few days.
I stood up to go get ready for the day but someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me back onto the bed.
"Stay," Doc said.
"I can't love I have to finish the highway today," I replied as I tried to stand back up. In response my boyfriend wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer so I was lying right next to him.
"You need more sleep B," he said, holding me tight as I tried to get free from his grasp.
"I'm already behind schedule I can sleep later," I explained.
"When was the last time you got a full nights sleep?"
"I- uh- wait-"
"Exactly. You're not leaving until you sleep more," my boyfriend said as he kissed my forehead.

After squirming for a few minutes, Bdubs finally gave up and flopped down. I ran my hand through his hair, thinking about how cute he was. He relaxed and cuddled with me and closed his eyes.
I smiled at my boyfriend. He had barely slept since the start of the season and it worried him. He was relieved that he was finally getting the rest he needed.
Though it was the morning, I was still exhausted from the day before. I held my boyfriend close and drifted off to sleep.
