After getting staying up late I dropped Maddie back home

As soon as I hit my bed when I got home I crashed

I felt like I only slept a couple minutes before hearing the doorbell rang

I lay in bed thinking that it's just my mind playing tricks on me until I hear it again

This time I get up and rush downstairs

I open the door to see Wanda and Natasha standing with smiles

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I guess I slept in. Give me like 10 minutes and I'll be ready, I swear" I say frantically

"Hey it's ok don't worry about it, take all the time you need, we'll down here" Wanda says

I rush upstairs to get ready

I decide to shower later so I can be fresh for when I get ready for the gala

I wash my face quickly put on some mascara and lipgloss toss on a pair of jeans, a yellow shirt and a pair of nude heels

I walked downstairs and grab my small purse, putting my phone and keys in there

"Ok I'm ready" I say with a smile

We get in the car and drive to the salon

We sit in the pedicure chairs with me in the middle, Natasha on my right, and Wanda on my left

"Are you excited for tonight" Wanda asks

"I'm actually really nervous. I'm not used to things like that, being the center of attention at all" I say a little nervously

"Don't worry, we'll all be there when you arrive. Me and Wanda will be right down the staircase so when you come down we can grab you and take you with us" Natasha says grabbing my hand

After we're done getting our nails done we decide to go out to lunch since we still have about an hour till we have to get ready

We go to a cute little restaurant and sit at the table in the corner

"You know, I'm really glad that two of my soulmates are girls" I say

"And why's that" Wanda asks

" I mean a girl is always more comfortable with a girl and plus it's nice knowing that I'm not just surrounded by men all the time. I have strong women around me too" I say sincerely

"I'm glad you think that and trust me, me and Wanda feel just as lucky having such a bad ass mate" Natasha says to me

After we finish our lunch we decide to go back to my house and just hang out for a bit

When we get there I show them my room but make sure to keep my dress covered so they don't see it

"Oh my gosh I still don't have any shoes to wear, Maddie said she would take care of it!" I say freaking out

"Calm down babe, I'll be right back" Wanda says

"Where is she going" I ask Natasha

"Don't worry she'll be back" she tells me

A minute later Wanda walks back in

She smirks and I decided to just ignore it

The three of us get on my bed, cuddling into each other and turn on the TV

We watch for about an hour until I hear the door bell ring

We walked downstairs to see Maddie with her dress in a garment bag and her shoes in her other hand

"This is our cue to leave" Natasha says

"We'll see you tonight sweetheart, we can't wait" Wanda says kissing my head

Natasha gives me a hug and a kiss like Wanda

"Theres a box on your kitchen island it's for you" Natasha says before her and Wanda walk out of the door

Maddie heads upstairs to get everything ready for me with a knowing smile

I walk over to the island and sit down on one of the chairs

I grab the box and open the card that sitting on top of it

I open the box to see a beautiful pair of shoes

They're white stilettos with gold butterfly wings on the end

I start tearing up a little bit

I wipe my eyes before walking upstairs with the shoes a huge smile

"I knew you'd love them" Maddie says as soon as she sees me in the doorway practically glowing

We both go upstairs, her laying out her things while I go take a quick shower

Once I'm out, dried, and dressed, we both start doing our hair and make up in front of the huge vanity

I curl my hair and do twisted crown style and pin it in the back

For my makeup I do a reddish brown Smokey eye with gold

I also put on some red liquid lipstick

Maddie finishes her make up and put on her dress

"Oh my gosh look at you, your gorgeous" I say in awe

"Thank you, ok C'mon it's your turn now" she says shoving my dress to me

I get changed put on the shoes and walk out

"You look absolutely stunning Rory! Those shoes go perfectly and red is definitely a color!" She says

We both get our stuff and go downstairs

"Alright now Rory you're gonna stay here until someone comes to gets you ok" and with that she leaves

I put on some gold earrings, a dainty gold bracelet, and a simple gold choker necklace

I hear the door bell ring

I walk over and open it to see Nick standing there in a suit

"Look at you all grown up. You look absolutely beautiful" he says pulling me into a hung and kissing me on the head

"You look very handsome yourself Nick, I think Maria will like it" I say winking (Hill and Fury are soulmates btw)

I work out to see a limo waiting in the driveway

Nick helps me get in and slides in next to me

"You know I think this is what your mom would've wanted. Your mom never gave up and she would've never wanted you to either, this would've made her proud, you coming back working with shield again" Nick tells me squeezing my hand

"Honestly, I think so too" I say sincerely
