"You ready to start?" Wanda asked

"If I say no will you all let me go back to sleep?" Rory asked hopefully

"Great, she's ready" Tony said enthusiastically

"Let's spar with our powers ok?" Wanda said moving to the center of the room

"No! I'm not going to just start using my powers against you. I could hurt you" Rory said taking steps backwards

"You're not gonna hurt me, c'mon" Wanda said pulling Rory with her

At first Rory just dodged the things Wanda sent her way but then Steve and Bucky yelled at her and she started using her powers because she didn't want them to be upset

They had a few mishap, a few holes in the walls, some broken equipment, scorch marks on the floor, soot on their faces, you know, all the normal things

After they trained for a few hours, Rory could barely walk

Bucky and Steve volunteered to help her back upstairs and to her room

"It's ok, I can walk" Rory mumbled when they offered to carry her

They would've just brushed off her mood because she was tired, but the fact that she didn't look them in the eyes when she spoke concerned them

They followed behind her and watch as she struggled to get to her room

"You ok darling?" Steve asked

"You yelled at me" Rory said quietly

When she finally looked up from her feet, they saw the tears in her sad and defeated eyes

"Oh doll, we're so sorry" Bucky said pulling her into a hug

That only caused her to cry harder

"We didn't mean it darling, we just needed you to start using your powers" Steve said joining the hug from the other side

"I'm sorry. I don't know why I'm like this. You two just yelled at me and I can't help but cry an-"

"It's ok doll, you just have a lot going on right now. We're sorry for yelling at you, we shouldn't have done it in the first place" Steve said kissing her head

Rory and Peter had gone to school later that morning since it was finals week

Steve almost demanded that they stop training so that they could fully focus on finals, but Rory insisted that they keep training

"What if I get nervous and light the whole class on fire?" She would say to worry Steve

And being the worrier he is, he of course let her keep training, but only for a few hours after school

Unknown to Rory, there was something big being planned for after her graduation

Peter already knew what it was and was happy he only had 1 final to take because he simply was too excited and couldn't focus

Steve and Wanda were also giving detailed reports to Fury about Rory and her training

Wanda was able to help Rory keep her mind reading at bay and taught her how to set up walls to keep from slipping

Everything was seemingly going back to normal

The team was mainly focusing on preparing for Rory's and Peter's graduation party

They decided to keep it right after the ceremony

They also made the decision to keep it very small seen as both Peter and Rory don't do well in large crowds

So it was just going to be all the soulmates, Fury, and Katie

Maddie was invited but her and her mother were going on vacation right after the graduation ceremony

"Morning sweetheart, time to wake up" Bucky said

It was nice for Rory to wake up to his voice rather than her alarm clock, but it didn't make it any less difficult

"Go away" Rory mumbled as she shrugged him off and turned the other way

"You know I can't. I'd let you if I could doll but you know how Steve is when it comes to school" he said kissing her neck and cheek

Rory groaned but continued to sleep

"Quicky in the shower to cheer you up?" Bucky asked

At this, Rory lifted her head off the pillow

"We have 15 minutes before we need to be downstairs" Rory said looking at the clock

"Don't worry I'll only need 5" Bucky said as he stood up and started walking towards the shower

"I meant I'll only need 5 to get you off, not that I only last 5 minutes" Bucky clarified when he realized how it sounded

"Your such and idiot" Rory said laughing as she saw the pure panic on Bucky's face

"Get in the shower and take that back" he mumbled

True to his words, he only needed 5 minutes to get her off, so he used his time wisely and used another 5 to do it again

They we're about to go some more but Steve came and scolded them like they were teenagers

He forcefully dragged them downstairs and sat them at the table next to Peter, put plates of food in front of them and instructed them to eat

When Bucky tried to steal off Rory's plate, it earned him a smack on the wrist

"She has her final today, she needs to eat all of that. Wait till I make more" Steve said to Bucky

Bucky just rolled his eyes and slouched

Peter drove them to school, as per usual

They both only had one final today so they agreed that they would meet by the car once they were dismissed

They wished each other good luck and made their way to their classes

Rory entered class and sat in the seat with her name on it, which was across the room from Maddie

Even though Rory was confident she would do just fine, her began to get anxious

She could feel something bubbling inside her, something not good

As the final was being passed out she took a minute to close her eyes and calm down like Wanda had taught her

She exhaled and began her test

The 2 hours went by extremely slow, mainly because she finished within the first hour

As soon as the class was dismissed she grabbed her things and left

Hayley was already waiting for Maddie so they didn't have a chance to talk for long

Rory walked to the car and waited a few minutes before the car opened

She looked over and saw Peter walking towards her from the building

"You ok?" he asked as soon as he was in close proximity with her

"Yea, I'm fine. Why?" She asked

"I don't know, I just had this really anxious feeling during the final, and it sounds dumb, but it felt like it wasn't my anxiety" Peter said confused

"I was anxious during the final" Rory said slowly

"It must be our soulmate bond. I've heard about people feeling their soulmates emotions" Peter said excitedly

He ushered her into the car and got into the drivers seat

They made their way to the tower and let the team know they would be home soon
