《You're the guy my dad never shut up about? | S. Rogers [1]》4. Third power: Shield/Forcefield

Three years have passed since Galilea discovered her second power. Like the previous one, she practiced everyday, she practiced with both powers.
She's getting better with them, she can now move bigger objects and is now trying to move humans around, (mostly applies that to Tony when he comes back from boarding school) And she can now use compulsion without begging so much.
So there she is, 10 years old, hanging out with her brother in his 'lab'. Tony is building something and Gali doesn't know what.
"Remind me again why you're here" Tony grabbed a screwdriver.
"Because I'm bored" she replied, playing with a circle thing she found.
"Why don't you go to the backyard and move rocks or something?" Tony just wants his sister to leave his hideout. He wants to be alone and build his contraption.
"I did that yesterday" Gali informed.
Tony got on a ladder and started doing something to the big metal thing he's building. He then looked around looking for something. When he saw what he was looking for on the table he let out a groan.
Now this was before he didn't like being handed things. He didn't have a problem with that. But after a few accidents he had with Gali when she handed him things, he started to dislike it.
"Gali can you pass me that screwdriver on the table?"
Gali stared at the screwdriver and it floated moving over to Tony.
"Thanks" he grabbed the screwdriver from the air.
After a few minutes of being quiet, and Tony working on his 'project' as he calls it, Gali asked "What are you doing anyway?" He mumbled an answer that Galilea did not understated "I'm not even gonna ask" she mumbled.
Tony laughed.
Another few minutes passed, Gali was up and walking around the room trying to distract herself. That is until she head Tony say,

"Oops"
"Oops?" Gali questioned.
"Yeah, um-" before he could finish, his neuro thingy made a popping sound. Next thing that happens is a big piece of metal flying directly at Galilea.
"Galilea!" Tony yelled.
She froze in place and her instincts kicked in. She raised her arms to cover her face, turned her head to the side and squeezed her eyes shut. She waited for the metal thing to hit her, but instead it hit something else and fell to the ground.
Tony got off the ladder and rushed to his sister side.
"Gali are you okay?" he worriedly asked.
"Yeah, I'm okay" she nodded "What happened?"
Tony explained what happened and when he said that a protection field appeared around her, a half circle, transparent purple, he thought it's a new power, but he's not sure.
"We have to tell dad" Tony said. Gali nodded and they got out of the room to find their dad.
The next day Gali was lying on the grass in the backyard looking up at the clouds. She has her arms crossed behind her head, enjoying the nice warm breeze, when suddenly a transparent purple-ish sphere, appeared over her. She looked at it confused as she sat up on the grass.
"What the..." she reached over to touch it and her fingers pressed against the smooth cool surface of the sphere. Her eyes went wide. "Wow" she breathed "Is this the protection barrier Tony saw yesterday?" she quietly asked herself.
She stood up and saw that the sphere moved around with her. She wasn't in a complete circle, it was a half circle over her, and wherever she moved, it moved with her.
"Mom!" Gali yelled.
Maria quickly made her way to the backyard and let out a small gasp when she saw her daughter in what looks like a bubble. Gali smiled when she saw her mom standing by the door.

"What is this?" Maria extended her finger and made a circle in the air to motion to the half sphere over Gali. She shrugged. Maria was a little scared, so she called for her husband.
"Howard!"
He ran to the backyard, followed by a 15 year old Tony. They came to a stop when they saw Gali in the purple bubble.
"Cool" Tony smirked as her circled his sister. She sent him a glare and walked to the other side of the yard. The bubble over her the whole time.
"How did you do that?" Howard asked his daughter "We tried yesterday but it didn't work" he said.
"I dunno. I was just lying down on the grass when this appeared" she motioned to the bubble. Tony smiled and grabbed a nearby pebble. He circled her as he spoke.
"So it's a shield"
"It looks like it" Howard replied. Maria saw the look on her son's face.
"Tony" she warned.
"Relax mom" he flipped the pebble in the air and caught it. He then threw it at Gali.
Bad move.
The pebble hit the force field, bounced back, and hit Tony right on the forehead. Leaving a red spot where it hit him.
"Ow!" He rubbed his forehead. Galilea laughed at him. "That wasn't funny" he said in a serious tone. His sister stuck her tongue out, causing Tony to do the same.
"Do you think you can make it disappear?" Howard asked.
Gali stood still as she concentrated on the sphere around her. She closed her eyes and pictured the bubble gone. Once she opened them, it was gone.
"I guess I can" she smiled.
"Now make it appear" Tony said.
She closed her eyes once more and pictured the sphere around her. She opened them and there it was. The transparent purple bubble.
Tony went up to her and kicked the sphere.
"Yup, nothing can pass this thing" he nodded.
Gali gave him a look before reaching out of the sphere, grabbing her brother's arm, and pulling him in the bubble with her. Tony was wide eyed as he tried to get out.
"Let me out!" He banged his hand on the smooth surface.
"Fine" she made the bubble disappear, and Tony quickly got away from his sister.
"Please tell me she doesn't have a new power" Tony begged his parents.
"Sorry, sweetie. But it looks like it" Maria patted her son's shoulder. He groaned and made his way back into the house.
"Where are you going?" Howard asked.
"I'm going to hide. I don't want to be a victim again with her newly found power!" Tony yelled out "And by hide I mean lock myself in my room!"
Gali giggled when she heard Tony yell at Jarvis.
"Jarvis, we need to take cover. We have confirmation on Gali's new power!"

Sexy Sect Babes
“One in a billion.” Jack kept repeating the mantra in his head. “One in a billion.” That was the number the Omni-Corps liked to cite whenever someone stepped onto one trans-mat pad and then simply… never stepped off the other. “Safer than a car,” he repeated as he slogged through the snow, his mining overalls doing at least a passable job of keeping out the cold as he brushed aside a tree branch. “Safer than a plane. Or a starship. Safest form of transport in the Star League.” He slammed his fist into a nearby tree, exo-empowered strength shattering it into little more than scattered bark and kindling. “Yeah, well I never heard of a car ride stranding some prick in another dimension!” He roared, his voice echoing through the seemingly endless forest around him. Then he kept marching. He’d seen the fire off in the distance. And given all the snow around, he sincerely doubted it was natural. Which left the unnatural. Which meant people. He hoped. Because even if the trans-mat had screwed up, he doubted it had dumped him too far off the central finite curve. The fact that the air was breathable and that he could recognize the trees around him as oak told him that much. And if the dimension he was in had trees native to Earth, chances are it would have animals too. Of which humans would hopefully be no exception. “Because I’ll be damned if I spend the rest of my days talking to goddamn squirrels.” No, if there were humans on this mudball, he was going to find them. One way or another.
