"So faking your death huh?"

Phil laughed and shook his head "You're not letting that go, aren't you?" He asked the girl next to him.

"Never" Galilea answered.

"I'm sorry" he apologized.

"If you really want me to forgive you you'll have to buy me lunch" Gali negotiated.

"Alright" Phil agreed "oh there's a step there-"

"Phil, please, I can walk on my own" Gali placed a hand on Phil's shoulder to hold him back. Galilea carefully stepped down and continued walking with Phil.

It was a beautiful sunny day and now that Galilea is able to get out of bed, she decided to take a walk with her favorite Shield agent. They walked outside the compound, in the small garden and they caught up on things.

Galilea remembers when she first met Phil. It was back in California after her brother was under house arrest. Tony found him a bit annoying at first but Galilea liked him. She was sad when Phil had to leave to New Mexico but they kept in contact.

Phil always made sure that Galilea was alright. That she didn't get into too much trouble, that she was eating and going out, especially after her breakup with Justin. Slowly, Galilea came to see Phil Coulson as a father figure but she never told him. She never had the chance too since she thought that Loki had killed him. But there he is now, breathing, walking, exasperated father of a team called the Avengers. He's alive and well.

"I'm sorry Phil, it's just I feel like everyone is coddling me. Even Fury!" Galilea sighed.

"I've never seen him like that. He yelled at us because we were being too loud" Phil said. Gali sniggered.

"Deep down Nicholas Fury is a teddy bear. He never misses my birthday. And college graduation he was right there in the crowd like a proud father. I actually think he shouted 'that's my baby!' But don't tell him I said that because he will deny it" Galilea quietly said.

Phil smiled "don't worry, I won't"

They continued to walk and Galilea was beginning to feel much better. It wasn't just the walk, it was the resting and medication and of course the junk food. She might be getting better but in the back of her mind she can't help but miss Castiel.

She misses seeing him everyday and making fun of him. She misses playing cards with him and playing for pretzels. How he would stop Mariana from hurting her and being the friend she needed while she was in the compound.

Doctor Grey has talked with Gali about Castiel but sometimes she gets defensive and ends the conversation. Who she doesn't miss tho, are Richard and Mariana. Those two can burn in hell. She thought.

Phil and Galilea walked through the halls of Shield and didn't encounter any stray Avengers. No frisbees flying through the air. No people crowded at the vending machines. No shouting and running and an angry Fury chasing after the grown adults acting like children. It was weird for the place to be so quiet. Only Shield employees walking around and being serious.

"Where's the team?" Galilea asked Phil.

"Trying to track down Hydra. Trying to get that tablet to work" he informed "Peter is teaching Thor how to use a phone. And Steve and Tony are in some kind of Twitter war"

Galilea sighed and rolled her eyes "I shouldn't have taught Steve how to use Twitter" she breathed out.

"Well at least he doesn't know about tumblr" Phil shrugged.

Gali furrowed her eyebrows "how do you know about tumblr?"

"I had to do something when I was in the hospital"

Galilea snorted "never change Phillip. Never change"

The Avengers are all hanging out in the break room they claimed as their own. They're loud and happy and playful. Some are playing board games, others are playing video games, cooking and doing nothing. Galilea sat on a couch with a Nintendo wii steering wheel in hand.

"Alright Thor, who do you wanna be?" Galilea asked the Asgardian Prince who's sitting next to her.

"I want to be this little guy. Look at him!" Thor squealed as he picked Toad.

Galilea laughed at his enthusiasm "I'll be Yoshi because he's soft" she picked the green dinosaur. The race tracks then came on screen.

"Ooh, pick rainbow road!" Peter exclaimed.

"That road is best left to the Mario Kart experts. Who even came up with that stupid road?!" Galilea exclaimed.

"The creators of Mario Kart?" The teenage boy offered.

"Let's play an easy one. Here, Mario Circuit" Galilea picked the track and the screen split in half.

Toad and Yoshi were seen on screen along with the other racers and soon they were off. Galilea had shown Thor how to control the car and what buttons to press to use the special items. He seemed to have understood how it worked but now that he's playing it he's all confused.

"You're going the wrong way!" Peter yelled.

"I don't know how to turn!" Thor yelled back.

"Turn the steering wheel! No- not that way- you just crashed with Mario!" Peter jumped up, his hands in his sandy brown hair "I can't watch this" he turned his back to the tv.

"Prepare to die, Thor" Gali said in a deep voice as she came close to finishing the third round.

She was ahead of the race, Luigi right behind her when suddenly a turtle shell struck her car and she was held back as Luigi passed her and won the race "I hate Luigi!" She yelled.

"Hmm, I hate Princess Peach" Kamilla said from the other side of the room.

Doctor Olivia Grey entered the crowded room, not exactly knowing what to expect. She can hear their loud voices from down the hall and could only imagine what the Avengers are doing.

"What's going on?" She asked when she saw everyone staring at the tv "oh Mario Kart. Never mind" she completely understood what the ruckus was about. She suddenly got a delicious smell of something cooking "what smells so good?" She asked.

"Kamilla and Natasha are cooking and Tony is making brownies" Rhodey informed as he ate skittles.

"Tony bakes?" The doctor was surprised.

"He makes the best brownies" Clint sighed, remembering the brownies he had at Galilea's birthday party.

"Right?" Maria Hill agreed with the archer.

"I should open my own brownie place" Tony commented from the kitchen area.

"No" the Avengers simultaneously said. Tony stared at everyone in shock with his mouth open.

The doctor giggled and went over to Galilea "how's my favorite patient doing?" Olivia looked down at Galilea with a bright smile.

"Can't complain" Gali shrugged.

Bruce scoffed "that's all you do! Complain, complain, complain!"

"Hey, when you get kidnapped by Hydra and form an unusual bond with one of their agents, you come talk to me! See if you're not complaining after that horny bastard Castiel keeps hitting on you and you just-" Galilea began to laugh "oh god..." She laughed even harder "oh I miss that horny bastard" she quietly said.

Bruce just stared at Galilea and then back up at Olivia. She simply shrugged "Anyway, Gali, I got your new inhalers" she pulled out two inhalers from the pocket of her hoodie and handed them to Gali.

"Two?" Galilea gasped.

"The red one is two puffs a day and the blue one is your regular inhaler. But it's two more dosages than the one you were using" Olivia explained.

Galilea looked down at the inhalers as the doctor explained to her the new usage "this is ridiculous" she mumbled and pocketed the blue inhaler "do I use this one now?" She asked her doctor friend.

"Yeah" Olivia nodded.

"Alright, Mrs. Puff is back!" Tony grinned.

"You're just jealous because you don't have an awesome inhaler like mine" Galilea told her brother before she took two puffs.

Tony laughed at that "sure pipsqueak"

"Well I should get going" Olivia announced.

"What, come on stay! We have food!" Pepper told the doctor.

"And games" Thor continued.

"Hospitality" Sam added.

"Ow, more like hostility" Clint said as he rubbed the back of his hand and glared at Tony.

"The brownies are not ready" Tony pointed a finger at Clint.

"Come on Liv, stay. We got the Nintendo Switch. We can play Mario Odyssey" Galilea spoke up "after I beat Thor at Mario Kart again" Thor narrowed his eyes at the girl.

Olivia smiled and accepted their offer. It seems now that the Avengers have a new member.
