"Taehyung, angel, please stop crying."

"I d-don't understand... you are bringing me back?", Taehyung sobbed, rubbing over his wrists that were freed from the tight ropes, thin red strings showcasing the recent abuse of his wrists. Hoseok stayed away from Taehyung politely but made sure the petit male wasn't going to all.

He and Yoongi has decided that Hoseok should keep a polite distance to Taehyung so the leave wouldn't be too hard for Hermes even though he was already suffering immensely, the heartbreak won't be going away anytime soon.

Because Hoseok's love for Taehyung has been real.

"Yes, we are. I know, I've hurt you, Tae but I'd like to redeem my mistake. And Yoongi too. It was wrong to take you and I let my feelings take over. I've been unfair to you and blinded. You didn't deserve that. I hope one day, you can forgive me", Hoseok mumbled pained while Taehyung was still sobbing silently, now a bit louder when the sight of the underworld palace returned.

"H-Hobi... I could never hate you... but I'm thankful that you two-", Taehyung didn't finish his sentence because suddenly, two dark figures abruptly appearing in front of them, black eyes immediately fixed on the now fearfully screaming flower god.

Hoseok immediately shielded Taehyung with his body, shoving the pretty male behind him in order to cover him while Yoongi did the same, taking out his sword. "Give us the queen", one of the figures, a demon, hissed at the two with red glowing eyes while Taehyung fearfully whimpered and pressed himself into Hoseok's back.

The familiarity of Taehyung's touch caused Hoseok to stiffen but he ignored it. "No. We want to bring Taehyung back to Hades ourselves", Yoongi said, determined in succeeding his plan and convincing Jeongguk from their wrongdoing by taking Taehyung against his will.

"You kidnapped him", the other demon seethed, standing way too close to Taehyung who squeaked scared and scurried away from the demon, looking at him with wide teary eyes. The last time he has encountered the demons of the underworld, it didn't end pretty for him, he has been groped and touched against his will.

"We admit our wrongdoing but only to your king", Yoongi spoke confidently while Hoseok finally got over himself and engulfed the scared puppy with his arms, Taehyung immediately hiding in his embrace and glancing scared at the demon who bowed his head at him.

"We will guard you to make sure you are really bringing him back", the first demon said, the second demon hissing angrily at them. "Although we should kill you for injuring our king and taking the queen, we have strict order to find you", it hissed but pushed Hoseok's shoulder, the man throwing the creature a glare but upon Taehyung's quiet whimper, he halted.

"Lead the way then", Yoongi spoke through gritted teeth.

A crying Taehyung got finally returned back to Jeongguk by Yoongi and Hoseok, sniffling while tears upon tears ran down his cheeks once he saw how sickly pale but relieved Jeongguk looked who was accompanied by Yugyeom. Jeongguk was a god, immortal yet the hit to his heart has faltered his powers for a short amount of time and he still seemed to be recovering.

The two demons ripped Hoseok away from Taehyung when they saw their king approaching, separating Taehyung from Hermes who of course protested. But the appearance of four other demons shut him up when they surrounded him and Yoongi.

"Tae! My jewel, you are okay", Jeongguk breathed out relieved, storming towards Taehyung who wriggled out of the demons' hold and jumped into Jeongguk's arms, to everyone's surprise. The golden band around his wrist pulsated, finally reunited with the underworld and its emperor.

"I'm back, Jeongguk... I would've never thought to say this, but I-I missed you", Taehyung breathed out while Jeongguk carefully lifted Taehyung up, strong arms hugging the beautiful raven close who was already sobbing against his neck. "All this time, I wanted to be away from you, and when I was, I was craving for you again... I don't care if it is because of the bond. I want to be with you, I want to try and see the real you. Not the version implanted by my father", Taehyung choked out and it was now Jeongguk's turn to get teary.

He threw Yugyeom a helpless look who replied with a little tilt of his head, before his dark eyes focused on Hoseok and Yoongi and rage mixed into the coldness.

"Baby, my precious Baby, I thought I lost you forever. I'm so sorry for causing you all this pain, I never wanted to hurt you and I'm so sorry for the disappearance of your Dad--", Jeongguk started but the little shy kiss to his cheek shut him up, eyes flying open and he stared shocked at the now blushing beauty in his arms.

"We'll find a solution. Together, yes?", Taehyung shyly said, hopeful puppy eyes looking up to Jeongguk before he timidly snuggled into his arms, resting his head on Jeongguk's shoulder.

And Hades nodded slowly, not believing this was happening, not believing that this was Taehyung in his arms. He felt like he was dreaming yet he never wanted to wake up. The god of the underworld engulfed the beauty, his crying baby in his arms before pressing him close and making the promise to never let go again.

"My beautiful gem", Jeongguk mumbled into Taehyung's hair, pressing kisses to the black locks and tightening his grip. Their bands, the flowery and the smokey ones seemed to be glowing, their colors deepening until the colors faded into a beautiful silvery black.

Their souls have been bonded forever now that they accepted each other. Now, only their love was going to bloom in between them.

Hoseok watched the two pained but his heart felt lighter than before. Because he knew it was for the best, even if Taehyung wasn’t going to be happy with him, he would be happy at the end. And that was all Hoseok wanted.

He finally woke up from his selfish dreams and decided on what was best for Taehyung. And not for him.

"I can't believe you two have the audacity to show up again after hurting my best friend. I can fucking kill you with the touch of my pinkie", Yugyeom growled, storming towards the two daring intruders but Jeongguk's voice stopped him.

"Yugs, don't. I have Tae back and that's the only thing that counts for me", Jeongguk said, caressing Taehyung's back who had his arms and legs wrapped around the god of the underworld, like a cute looking koala. His heart was content with his decision, and Taehyung finally felt at peace now.

Like he has found exactly what his heart has been searching for. His other half, Jeongguk.

"And besides", Jeongguk said, now throwing Hoseok a little pained smile. "I understand the reason behind", Jeongguk spoke silently, like it was a secret just between Hoseok and him. Hermes bowed his head, defeated but accepting his faith. He would no longer try to get Taehyung but he would not apologize to Jeongguk.

Yet it was enough for Jeongguk to forgive them the attempted kidnap and the injury. After all, Yoongi has already saved Taehyung's life so Jeongguk was willing to forgive them in return.

"Thank you, Min Yoongi, for saving Taehyung's life. I will never forget it", Jeongguk spoke, his little queen securely resting in his arms. Taehyung looked at the two shortly, smiling softly at Hoseok and then at Yoongi yet he didn't attempt to speak up.

Time would heal his wounds.

"You may leave my kingdom now", Hades said. The demons released the two, disappearing from their sight as soon as their god spoke these words. Yugyeom huffed but he didn't protest against his best friend.

"Oh, and please tell my brother something from me when you see him. Tell him, how sad I am with the way destiny turned on us. And tell Namjoon that I miss him", Jeongguk spoke sadly and Yoongi nodded while Hoseok threw a final glance at Taehyung.

"We will, Jeongguk. Treat Taehyung well", Hoseok said pained but with lighter heart than before. Jeongguk smiled gratefully at him.

"He is the love of my life. There's nothing I wouldn't do for him."
