Scrappy laid, curled up in her steel-cage. For some reason, the plan was delayed. Scrappy wondered why, but she didn't complain.
The sun shone through the somewhat tinted windows, lighting the dusty gray floor with daylight. "Hey, Scrappy! Time to get up, pup!" River prodded Scrappy's side, barking quietly. "Ugh...it's only 3:00 AM! Let a dawg get some sleep, will ya?" Scrappy turned her head towards the back of the cage, stretching her hind legs out farther. "Come on!" Finally losing patience, River barked a bit louder, "WAKE UP!" Scrappy scrambled awake, slipping and falling constantly on the smooth, shiny steel cage floor. She face planted, falling flat on her nose. "Ow...." She pulled up and shook her head. "Oops, sorry! I just needed you to wake up," River spoke in an unusually hyper tone, tail thudding against the steel wall of the cage. "Wh-what? Why?" Scrappy yanked herself up, head crashing to the top of the cage. She yelped and kept down, a grumble escaping deep from her throat. "OW! You know what, I'll lay here." Filthy cage. The Yorkie silently cursed. Her ear flicked, short Yorkie bangs covering her eyes which gave her a mean glare. "Anyway, why did you want me awake?" Scrappy tilted her head slightly, a confused yet painful look on her face. Her head hurt so much, she already had a headache. "I have a friend or two..."
This would have been chapter 20! It would have had more to it but I never finished it because I'm rewriting it. Feel free to read this!
