It's been months since the Kathrine thing. Damon and i grew closer as friends. Stefan was at some point worried but both, Damon and i, told him it as just friendship.

The brothers had taught me how to defend myself.

Stefan didn't like it at first but Damon talked him into it.

Today Damon and i were outside in the front yard of the Salvatore mansion.

We were training without Stefan. Stefan left to help Caroline with some stuff.

I turned to Damon. Since we started training he had this look on his face. Like he was thinking. I stoped punching the dummie.

Me "All right, what are you thinking about, Damon?"

Damon "It's not like her"

I raised and eyebrow at him "What is not like who?"

Damon "Kathrine. We haven't heard from her in months, Gaby. I know that little bitch, it's not like her"

Me "Maybe she's enough of this town and left? i don't know, Damon."

Damon "Aren't you suspicios, Gab? I know this woman, she's obsessed with Stefan, she'll hit us where it hurts."

I shoke my head "don't say that, Damon. "

I turned to the dummie and started to hit it again. Suddenly i felt a wirst on my mouth.

Damon wispered in my ear "I'm so sorry, Gaby. But i won't lose another friend because of her obsession"

I had no choice. I shoved me his blood down my throat. I gulped it down. Damon then took his wrist off my mouth and turned me to him. He took my necklace off. I got that one from Stefan when we first met. It was a Vervain Necklace.

Me "What the hell, Damon!?"

Suddenly he looked me into my eyes.

Damon "You will forget that i fed you my blood"

Me "I will forget that you fed me your blood"

He nodded and i snaped out of my daze.

I saw him holding my necklace.

Me "What are you doing with my necklace?"

Damon "She was laying on the ground"

I nodded "Thank you"

I put it back on.

Stefan and i made our way through the park.

Me "Damon is growing suspicios"

Stefan "well, he isn't the only one"

I stoped and looked at him "She knows i won't leave you and that you won't leave me, Stef. "

Stefan shoke his head. Suddenly an arrow hit his shoulder. He fell to the ground coughing.

My jaw droped "oh my god, Stefan!"

I kneeled down in front of him.

Stefan coughed "Behind y-"

Suddenly there was a pain in my neck and i everything went black.

Later.

I heard someone yell my name.

I jerked up and looked around. It was Stefan.

His leg was chained on the away from me.

I looked around. I saw a gate. There ere claw marks on the walls. Chains on the floor.

I looked at Stefan "What are we doing in the Lockwood cellar?"

Suddenly someone walked inside.

Kathrine "Well, i had to lock you guys somewhere"

I looked at her.

Stefan growled "Don't you dare hurting her!"

Kathrine chuckled "The chains have vervain, Stef. Even if, you wouldn't be able to stop me"

Stefan growled at her.

Kathrine walked to me and stood up.

Kathrine "you know, i saw you. I saw how they taught you how to defend yourself. *she chuckled* but it won't help you against a vampire"

I starred at her.

Kathrine "But you know. I took the hint. Stefan doesn't want me anymore but hey if i can't him, no one can, right?"

She began to smirk. Suddenly she took a gun out.

Kathrine "Wooden bullets. Took that one from Alaric"

My eyes widend in fear.

Me "Kathrine, you don't have to do this"

Kathrine "but i do"

She made her way to Stefan. Stefan was still weak from the Vervain arrow.

Me "Kathrine!"

I looked at Stefan with tears.

Stefan glared at her "Kill me as long as it means you leave her alone"

Kathrine fake cried "how lovely of you to make sure she stays safe"

She raised the gun to his heart. I ran to them. I stood in front of Stefan when she hit the trigger. Suddenly there was a pain in my heart and i saw blood coming out of my wound.

I began to cough.

I heard Stefan yell "No!"

I saw to Kathrine. She was smirking like a kid in a candy shop.

I triped back. Stefan caught me but Kathrine ripped me out of his arms and threw me away from him. I was laying on the ground. Coughing anf crying.

I heard Stefan yell to Kathrine "Please, Kathrine, let me heal her"

Kathrine "no"

Stefan "pl.."

Suddenly it went all black.

No one's pov.

Stefan saw how the love of his life closed her eyes. He let tears fall when he heard her last heartbeat and then nothing. It broke his heart.

What nobody knew was that Damon stood outside. He had tears in his blue eyes as well. He heard her last heart beat as well. I sighed.

He speeded into the cellar and broke Kathrine's neck. He walked to his brother who was standing there shocked. Damon kneeled down and ripped the chains of Stefan's ankle. The Vervain on the chains burned him but it wasn't as painfull as seeing Gaby's lifeless body there.

I stood up and looked at his brother "Stefan"

Stefan didn't say a thing.

Damon said calm "We need to get her out of here"

Stefan just starred at the body.

Damon put a hand on his brother's shoulder. Stefan slowly looked at him.

Damon "Let's take her back home"

Stefan nodded slowly.

He made his way to his dead girlfriend. Damon stopped him.

Damon "You're too weak to even stand on your own. I'll carry her"

Stefan nodded.

Damon "Just one more thing"

He grabbed the chain and out it around Kathrine's ankle.

Damon "Rott in hell, Kathrine"

Then he walked to Gaby and carried her body bride-style. Stefan was following him. They speeded back to the mansion.

Damon put her on one of the sofa's in the living room.

Stefan sat on the sofa table in front of Gaby.

Damon sighed and poured him and his brother a drink with some blood in the glass.

He gave held one out to Stefan.

Stefan shoke his head.

Damon sighed again "Drink. You need your strenght back"

Stefan just starred at his dead girlfriend.

Damon put the drink next to Stefan on the table.

It was quiet.

Stefan cracked out "I lost her, Damon"

Damon "Not exactly, brother"

Stefan raised an eyebrow at Damon.

Stefan "Damon..what did you do?"

There was a little smirk on Damon's face.

Suddenly Gaby's jerked up and gasped for air. Stefan jerked up to. Clearly shocked that his girlfriend was still alive.

Gaby pov

I looked around. I saw Stefan.

I tried to calm my breath. I looked at Stefan and then at Damon. Damon had a smile on his face.

I slowly sat up. I looked at Stefan with tears in my eyes.

Me "Stef-"

He huged me. I huged him back. I pressed him on me.

Stefan "I thought you were dead"

Stefan let go of me and kissed me.

I looked at my chest. The wound was healed .

Damon smiled "you wellcome"
