Writer.
Just after 5 minutes after Mayrah gave Isaa's phone back to him, he received another call from his Chachi.
Now they've called again!
Huh, revealing nighty! I would rather prefer Abaya in our bedroom!
He couldn't even say anything after picking up the call as the voice from Mayrah's Ammi came like a thunder storm to his ears.
"And listen Mayrah, the beauty is for your husband, right? So do grab him with you while buying....................."
"M A Y R A H!"
Before she could complete, he has already guessed it as he shouted in the loudest voice turning to Mayrah who's busy checking gowns in a a shop few steps far from him.
She looked back and immediately came walking to him. He handed her the phone and eyed her having a very annoying expression plastered on his face.
"Huh? Ohh Ammi Chachi?" She turned back and pressed the phone to her ear.
"Was it Isaa? Whatever. Listen, do take Isaa's choice while choosing your reception gown, Isaa's eyes matter the most, ok?"
Mayrah thought for a while and hummed. She cut the call and looked at Isaa, helplessly standing near a shop which unfortunately is loaded with ladies clothes that he didn't even notice.
Mayrah advanced towards him while from inside the shop, came the shopkeeper to Isaa.
"Would you like to buy anything from our shop, sir?"
A sweet and humble question from the shopkeeper, who's a boy worker on this ladies shop, made Isaa furious as he let his gaze travel to the shop and the next second closed his eyes in embarrassment.
Opening them back, he looked at Mayrah who stood silently opposite to him to return his phone. After that, he eyed at the shop and purely faked smiled at the boy.
"Do I look like a girl to shop from here?"
The shopkeeper chuckled and left back inside.
"What?" He looked at Mayrah with stress lines forming in his forehead as he snatched his phone from her.
"Can you come with me? Actually Ammi wants you to............"
"Have you lost your mind? Don't you feel ashamed of offering me this filthy request? Listen I'm warning you, don't you dare ever to wear any nighty or anything. You are fine and perfect with your usual clothes."
"But Isaa......."
"How could they even tell you to take my choice in selecting that...th....uhh.. whatever. Disgusting."
He rubbed his forehead harshly biting his lower lip as he looked around thinking what to do next.
Mayrah evilly laughed grabbing his hand provoking him.
"Now you surely have to select my nighties."
"Heyyy Mayrah, leave my hand."
She dragged him to the shop where she was checking out dresses before.
He sighed and scratched his nape in confusion looking at the gowns placed around the shop.
"They said to help in selecting my reception gown. Can you disgustingly help me with that?"

He looked at her pouting his lips and nodded.
"Is that not beautiful?" She asked taking a gown on her hand, showing it to him.
The gown adorned in a very dark shade of red, having simple yet elegant golden works of threads just at the lower area of it, looked royal and incredibly gorgeous.
"Mmm...will it fit you? Look at your size and it's size!"
He teased lightly slapping her head which she returned him in his arm.
"Come on Isaa!"
"Ask others. I've no taste."
"Fine then! If you don't have any taste, you might have no problem with me wearing nighties?"
She asked as he moved to leave, in no second he turned back and glared at her, murderously, as if he'll be eating her alive right away.

Reception Night.
"He forbade me to use any sort of make up!" Mayrah said in a low tone, looking at others with her helpless pout.
They all exchanged looks and nodded their heads even they they found no reason to this rule of their brother.
"But why? It's just about 1 day, you won't get married again!" Naira annoyingly said throwing the make up box on the bed.
"Arrogant Doctor. I must say, Aani prefers bitter guard the most for which her son also.........."
"I hear you Mayrah."
Isaa's voice made her lips zipped off as she huffed closing her eyes to calm the tigress in her.

"What kind of humble behavior is this? I'm the bride, need to be specially treated but you all left me alone here?"
Mayrah furiously asked as she pressed the phone to her ear.
The whole Ismael Mansion is left alone as everyone has already made their way to the grand reception hall of Isaa and Mayrah, except for the bride and groom.
Mayrah is alone at home while Isaa is still in the hospital, not at all caring that he needs to reach to his reception party before the guests leave.
"Anyone listening?" Mayrah shouted on the phone getting more annoyed as she stomped on her feet.
"What would we do staying with you? You need no make up so we are useless for you. Whatever now Allah Hafiz, we are the bride's sisters, we are busy."
"I'm the bride girls!"
The call got disconnected as she blinked her eyes for a bunch of times, amazed at her sisters.
Betrayers they are!
She prayed for their guidance and stood up to put on her gown.
Seeing her reflection in the mirror, her lips curved into a beautiful smile as she realized that never before she looked so gorgeous like this.
She then tried to lock the zip of her gown's back but miserably failed. Her hands pained due to those trials.
Leaving it, she took her golden pencil heels and fitted them on her foot.
"Surely now I'll match with his height." She said to herself looking at the mirror proudly grinning.

Again as she tried, her hands failed to zip off the back of the gown which made her exhausted.
Next, she tried more and more not at all giving up but suddenly her nail got hurt being pressed against the steel of the zipper.
"Aaaarrrrgghhhh!"
"Mayrah! Are you okay? Hey! What!" The door was kicked open as Isaa entered with storm in his mind.
She turned around and found herself in his arms just in the next moment, she tried to move back from him but he held her closer.
"Mayr....."
"I'm fine, Isaa. I'm ok." She replied distancing themselves.
His eyes fell on the mirror as he saw the reflection of her bare back.
"It's late. You aren't ready yet." He reminded making her nod as she turned to the mirror.
Before she could help herself, he pulled her close by the dress and within a second he zipped it up.
She couldn't even digest the incident when he suddenly nuzzled her open hair inhaling it's deep scent in.
He then left to the closet deciding to dress himself as they're getting late.
"Which bride on the earth stays without make up on her reception function?"
She asked looking at him from the mirror as he stepped out wearing a simple yet elegant white t-shirt along with it's black coat and a casual pair of black khaki pants.
"My bride." He replied quirking his eyebrows at her.
"You don't prefer make up, do you? I don't think that it really is connected with my health."
"I'm the Doctor ok? The rules are mine. Now just get ready."
"You look..... handsome anyways." She complimented looking at him from head to toe.
"How much?" He raised his eyebrows, walking near her.
"A little."
"Oh Allah then do I even deserve such a beautiful and hot and se...mm wife."
He closed his eyes lightly blushing at his words.
"Say the next word huh?
Aaaahhh Isaa, I'm getting late. Throw yourself out of my room right now."
She ignored the topic not wanting to miss out their function.
She took out the jewelry box and begin putting them on.
"Let me help my wife." He said sitting on his knees beside her.
He took few bangles and settled them in both of her wrists.
Later on, as he made her wear the other accessories, he grabbed her Hijab and handed it to her. She wrapped it around her head and looked back at him beaming happily.
He smiled and moved his hand down, secretly taking out a ring from inside of his coat's pocket.
Her concentration was fixed on his radiant face for which, his deed went unnoticed by her.
He slipped the diamond ring on her finger and leaned forward to her face.
"Looking dangerously breathtaking, my little heart."
His husky voice made her shiver as held him by his collar, he softly pecked his lips causing her flinch.
"Getting late....Isaa."
"Yeah...."
•••••
The clock hitting 1 o'clock at night, made Mayrah realize that her husband still didn't show up.
She wiped the hot pair of tears from her both eyes and harshly rubbed them.
Minutes passed on as she kept on crying and thinking about him and herself.
Her pain doubles with every passing second haunting her happiness and peace.
"He could try to cure her being a doctor only, what was the need to marry her?"
"When it's clear that she isn't surviving long years, why did she had to ruin his life?"
"She's truly nothing but a burden on him."
"I feel so bad for that boy, he deserves better."
"He's a successful surgeon! And look she made him her slave."
"Now developing love between themselves, she will leave and he'll have to just roam like a............ whatever."
She remembered the words of few random ladies who revealed their filthy thoughts to each other sitting beside her, totally ignoring that she can hear them.
That still would not matter to her, but coming back at home, she somehow realized that she truly forgot about her future and let him accept her.
Until when?
"I am so sorry Mayr....... Ohh, you slept." Came Isaa.
She immediately closed her eyes and acted to be deep in her slumber.
He walked to the bed and took his sit next to her.
Taking her hand in between his warm ones, he rubbed it and leaned down to place a kiss in her forehead as then he moved his face near her ear.
"I love you. I promise you'll be fine soon In Sha Allah, I won't let you leave me."
He whispered nibbling her earlobe causing her gasp as tears flooded down her eyes.
"Ieee...saaa...Isaa..."
Isaa felt his breathe escaping forever as he realized her crying. He immediately got up on the bed and hugged her to his chest.
"Isaa...I'm sorry Isaa...I love you...I really do...did...did I ruin your life? Do...do you ever feel..that..I'm a burden on..on you...?"
She spoke holding his face in her hands as he decided to keep silent and hear her first to know the reason of her tears.
"They don't like me...none does...but am I really a burden? On you? What..what if I die Isaa? What..will you do? Oh Allah Isaa! I'm sorry...I.. I've really spoiled everything."
She cried hiding her face in the crook of his neck as he began caressing her hair, occasionally kissing her head.
"You've nothing...to say right? Be.. because you've no answer right...but..."
"Can I make love to you? I'll clear all your doubts in between, I promise."
He breathed in her ear, holding her even closer to her.
"Hm..hmm..."
And he indeed did, leaving not even a mere thought about all the insecurities she was feeling before.

Avine: The Journey
Avine, the name recorded in the oldest records of faith concerning the creation of the world. The lands of Avine are in turmoil. A lengthy war recently ended. Casualties were terrible, but not limited to the dead alone. Breakdowns occurred in society, and kingdoms struggled with civil unrest and a never-ending stream of refugees. Mariel Bluegale has lived a relatively uneventful life. Largely sheltered from prejudice by her parents Serin and Arwaro, she grew up in a kingdom that prospered thanks to its strictly neutral policy. But the winds of war are once more on the horizon. Peace is merely the prelude to a new, even bigger conflict, one which may be decided on the identity of one. Release schedule: One chapter a week for the forseeable future. Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be in pieces, and likely around holidays. As always, any -painful- errors (spelling, flow, consistency or time) please let me know.
