《Wattpad Block Party - Summer Edition IV》BenRyans Presents : Q&A and The Day We Met Short Story
Advertisement
Hi everyone, my pen name or wattpad name is .
This is my first #WattpadBlockParty and I'm not entirely sure if I'm doing this right. I've decided to write a short story on two characters from my story, The Football Boys, and how Jane and Gemma met. I've also included a few other characters! I've also taken a few questions from my readers and answered them!
But first, I'd like to write a little about myself for any readers that do not know me. I am BenRyans, as stated before it is a pen name, I'd rather keep my real name off wattpad, it's more intriguing that way, right? Haha! I'm twenty two years old, I can feel the old age effects taking course, haha, but I find aging to be good because I heard being older makes a person wiser.
I am also a university student, I entered a bit late but better late than never! I started writing for Wattpad when I was around twelve or thirteen, I'm not sure because it's been so long. I stopped writing for a few good years and decided to start writing again because I missed it so much. I had other stories published but knew I couldn't fully commit to them so I unpublished them and decided to focus on only one, The Football Boys.
Let's see, what else can I say. I play a lot of console games, mainly Overwatch. If anyone wants to play together, let me know! I love all my readers, honestly, I say it all the time to them and can not thank them enough for the opportunities they were able to give me, such as being able to be apart of this #WattpadBlockParty. Each and every reader means so much to me and no matter how busy I get, I always try reply to messages and comments because they just, mean so much!

Now onto the giveaway. I am doing a shout out and I will also follow, one reader but they must have a story published to be entered. To be entered all you have to do is follow me and (www.wattpad.com/kellyanneblount), have my story, The Football Boys and this #WattpadBlockParty in your library!
I want to take the time to mention that I will be interacting with readers all day! So, feel free to leave a comment on this chapter, even if it is just to chat or ask a question and I will reply to it as soon as I can! :) Don't forget to support all the other authors involved in the #WattpadBlockParty
Now onto the questions and answers portion!
When I am in the flow of things, one to two days but other times it can take months if I am having bad writers block. I am the worst, I know.
Yes, I didn't want to get too much into their ethnicity and wanted to focus just telling the story but yes, they are of Italian descent.
I was shocked when it hit 1M so I nearly fell over when I realized it hit 2M. I was very happy because throughout my whole wattpad experience, I'd never reached that high of a number. Honestly, it is all thanks to the readers. Without them, The Football Boys wouldn't have been able to reach that number of reads! So thank you, for enjoying it.
I would most likely get a tattoo that has something to do with my parents or my siblings. Maybe a birth date, or a symbol of some sort. Something small.
I'm not entirely sure, I don't want to say no or yes because nothing is certain.
Yes, I am the second eldest of eight and I have two other half siblings.

Yes and no, it's just an idea about a young man who lost his hearing.
I was watching a music video of an artist, Troye Sivan, and the next day I was watching a movie about football and I thought, hey those two things would make a good story.
I am of Indigenous descent. Other ways of saying it are Native American, First Nation, Aboriginal, Ojibway, there are a lot of different ways to say it, haha!
I wanted to answer more but didn't want to make it too long! Now onto the short story!
"My arm hurts Mr. Greene." Jane spoke with hurt in her voice as she held onto her left arm.
"Call me coach, kid." Mr. Greene said as rested his hands on his hips, puffing out his chest.
"My arm hurts, coach."
"Alright, alright, have a seat." Mr. Greene pointed to the sidelines of the gymnasium.
Jane sat on the freshly waxed gymnasium floor, with a thick book in hand as the other children of her second grade class played dodgeball. A boy had broken his arm earlier that morning, it turned out that Mr. Greene had waxed the floor too much but he blamed it on the boys shoes.
"Janey, come play." Queenie said enthusiastically with a bright smile. Queenie had been Jane's best friend since pre-school. Jane had never met someone with such bright red hair as Queenie's. It reminded her of her favorite American poet, Emily Dickinson, who'd shared the same beautiful head of hair.
"I'm reading, and my arm hurts a lot." Jane said as she pushed up her black framed glasses when in fact her arm did not hurt, not one bit. She desperately needed to know what was to happen next in the book she was reading.
"Come on Janey, I met a new friend." Queenie pleaded, motioning to her new friend from across the gymnasium.
"Hi." The dark haired girl spoke quietly.
"Hi." Jane said as she looked up from her book, examining her through her glasses. Jane stopped for a moment, fixed on the girl for reasons unbeknown to her. Maybe it was the color of her deep green eyes that seemed so pure, or the paleness of her satin skin, but Jane had an inkling that they'd be good friends.
"Now, come on, let's play!" Queenie said as she grabbed Jane by the arm. Jane protested but not for long before joining in on the fun.
End
Thank you for reading and thank you for your questions! Don't forget to support this #WattpadBlockParty, Kelly, and the other authors featured :)
