Omgggggggg I cannot believe I was selected as a featured author for the wattpad block party summer edition IV by !
Thank you hon for selecting me, and making me a part of this esteemed party.
And to all those who don't know me, let me introduce myself to you.
I'm the Pious Queen, yep thats the meaning of my name, people over here call me Taqi. And I'm know as
I'm a simple girl, who dreams really big, one cannot get to the depths of my dreams with how simple I appear to them. And I'm in my early twenties, a girl with lots of love in my heart, and I love to make new friends help them out and make a change in one's life. I'm hopelessly romantic, emotional, sensitive, stronger yet weak, sarcastic and last but not the least sassy.
As a kid when ever I read any stories on my English text or any book I always used to imagine and imagine, even if I saw any movie or any daily soap (which I have stopped since I got wattpad) I used to think and imagine future scenes and many times those same scenes, wordings, used to happen.
And this happened for years, and I kept on thinking and making scenes, and I was a sucker of reading books. I used to read same short stories and tales in my texts all over again. I just loved it, but sadly I never had access to any library nor was I allowed to read story books or fairy tales at my home.
But when I was in my 12 grade a friend of mine had got a novel by one of the famous author of India, Sudeep Nagarkar ~ Few things are left unsaid.
And I finished that book over a night. And next day I even started narrating the whole story to my other friend with every tiny detail. Seeing the craze and passion I had for reading my friend suggested me wattpad and she even shared it with me.
But I was scared and I didn't wanted to make any account, I was an introvert with people I never knew, and this platform was same. I didn't had any social media except whatsapp. I was very scared and too nervous to do something out of boundaries that were set up for me.
But after few months I was on my study holiday break. I was bored to death. And I then first downloaded wattpad as I wanted to read. And that's how I landed here. And I read 100's of books and by the end of six months on wattpad I planned to write my own. English wasn't my mother tongue and the irony was I never knew to speak proper English until 8 grade. Shocking I know. But that's the truth. Your author didn't knew English until then. But over the years I mastered up and today all my friends thinks I'm a foreigner. I speak like a foreigner and when I told them I never knew English until 8 grade they were shell-shocked and some didn't believe.

That's how my journey began. When I wanted to write. I told my friend on wattpad whom I had happened to get closed to, she encouraged me to give it a go. And over the periods of time I learnt the pace, I improved myself a lot and today I feel extremely honoured and thankful to Almighty and my readers who has supported me and made me stand where I'm.
Without you all I'm nothing, without my readers there is no Taqi. And I thank each one of you from the depths of my heart and I love you all with my complete being.
Thank you honey bees for being so amazing. And without your love, and support I wouldn't have been able to reach here.
A tip to all the new budding authors, don't give up on writing, love what you write. There will come a time where you feel like giving up, where you don't want anything but to just quit writing and delete all your books, don't do that, that's where the beginning starts for a writer, many times you feel lost, broken, terrible and what not, but despite all this, you gotta try, you gotta write what you have started with, you need to complete what you started once, I know it might be very hard task, not at all easy, but don't give up, be unique, be YOU. Yes, because everyone is different, unique and one of their own kind, your writing style might not match to some other author, you might think someone is better than you, don't let this insecurities take a toll on you, because it's said truly that, you gotta be you, no matter what, don't look at the people who are higher to you, who has million reads and thousands of followers, because lovelies even they started with nothing, they had zero in everything when they all started. Never underestimate yourself, love what you write. Don't think what people would think about you if your character is tad bit different from all, he/she might be ruthless or angry and an alpha male or over possessive, seeing others characters don't change yours, because that's where you go wrong. Keep the character same until the book end. Seeing other stories and characters don't change the stance of your own. And last look at the people who are inferior to you, who just started writing who has less followers and less reads, that would give you all a hope, that would make you all be thankful and not make you ungrateful and depressed seeing others higher to you, yes this writing is a passion, a profession and a hobby to many, so many has different views about it. And don't let anyone's views change who you are and break your mindset.
