Novalee is in the kitchen making Emma some breakfast. Emma is wearing some jeans and a baby blue T-shirt with converse low tops as she comes walking in, her hair in a loose fitting ponytail.
"Mom, I think I'm ready to see Cheryl now," Emma says as she sits in the one stool. "Can you take me?"
"Of course," Novalee replies as she pjs some bacon, eggs, and sausage on a plate and places it in front of Emma. "After you eat your breakfast."
Emma smiles at her new mother and she eats the breakfast Novalee made hasn't heard from Alice in a couple weeks, not since Cheryl asked Nova to adopt Emma. But honestly, Novalee is finally fully happy without them. She has an amazing mate who loves her for who she is, and an amazing daughter who means The whole world to her.
Emma rinses her plate our and puts it into the dishwasher. "I'm going to go pee, and go to the car." Emma goes upstairs while Novalee cleans the counter where Emma just ate.
Emma and Novalee meet at Nova's car in the garage, and Emma opens the garage with a button in the car. They had a car mechanic and an electrician set that up. Novalee pulls out of the garage and she drives to La Push, her second home.
Novalee sees Embry's truck in the driveway when she makes it to Cheryl's.
"Embry's here," Emma exclaims.
Novalee parks and they walk up the walkway. Embry opens the door before they make it, he's teary eyed.
"Thank god you decided to come, Emma," Embry whimpers. "They she has a matter of minutes. Come and say goodbye."
Embry leads Emma into Cheryl's bedroom. Novalee sits on the couch, the smell of diseased blood heavy. She closes her eyes and listens to Cheryl's labored breathing and slow heartbeat.

"Mom," Emma says as she and Embry enter. "She wants to see you."
Embry kisses Nova before she walks into the room. A very week Cheryl looks at her.
"Nova," she whispers.
"Hey," Novalee coos as she sits on the bed.
"Take care of those two," Cheryl says. "Emma's yours now."
Those were her last words. And as Cheryl takes her final breath, Sam howls in desperation and Paul calls Embry, saying Harry Clearwater pasee away from a hear attack. Novalee closes her eyes, wishing she could cry. Emma walks in and she hugs her.
~~~
Novalee sits on her couch, staring at the fireplace. Bella had jumped off a cliff too. Today's just a master bad day for her. Emma's sitting with her, she's staying by her mom's side. They have funerals to attend. Harry's, and Cheryl's.
The sound of keys jinglimg alert Novalee, she sits up straighter as she hurriedly puts Emma behind her. Rosalie walks in.
"Rosalie!" Novalee cries as she flashes into her arms, Rosalie's back collides with Emmett, who laughs. "Oh, my god. You're back! God," Novalee growls. "I want to cry so bad!"
"Mom, easy, you're going to crush her," Emma comments.
"In!" Novalee gasps as she pulls away. "Rose, Emmett, this is Emma. She's in your old room Emmett. You have to move into Rosalie's."
"I can do that," Emmett replies. "Hey, Emma."
"Novalee, where's the cure?" Rosalie asks. "I want to see them."
"Emma, do you like sports?" Emmett asks as Nova leads her best friend upstairs.
Novalee goes to her booknshelf and she grabs both the safe, and the code from the book. Both vampires sit on the bed and Nova gets into the safe, revealing two punches of what looks like blood. Rosalie picks one up amd smells it.
"Oh, that smells define," Rosalie muses. "We Can Take them when everyone gets back, yeah?"
Nova puts the safe up once the cure Rosalie picked up is secure and she hugs Rosalie again. There's a throat being cleared and the feeling of pride. Novalee looks over and she spots Jasper. Novalee smiles amd she walks over, hugging him just as tightly.
"Alice saw Bella jumping off that cliff," Rosalie says. "I thought she was trying to kill her self, so that's what I told Edward."
"She was cliff diving," Novalee says. "I've done it with the pack several times after I got with Embry."
"I know that now," Rosalie replies. "Alice and Bella are on their way to Volterra now to save Edward. He wants to die too."
"Poor Edward," Novalee says. "They better hurry. But i have to go. I have nurse training tonight."
Nova passed every one and finds Emmett playing sporty video games with Emma in the second floor living room.
"Going to the hospital?" Emma asks. "You need to stay home. You've had one of the worst days."
"I'll be fine, Emma," Novalee says. "Emmett, keep her safe."
He nods as Esme walks in.
"Hey," Esme hugs Nova. "Tell Carlisle to call me when you get to the hospital. He's getting his job back."
"Will do," Novalee replies and she heads toward the hospital in her car,
The Humble Life of a Skill Trainer
For Joshua Still, Skills were the lifeblood of his business. He wanted to understand them, collect many of them, and teach a few of them. Which was a problem because while his profession of a Skill Trainer was perfectly legal, it was frowned upon by most of the kingdom. After all, it wouldn't do for a non-tailor to teach Tailoring. Or, so says the Tailors Guild. The same could be said by the Blacksmiths, the Bakers, the Butchers, the Candlestick Makers, the Mages, and every other Guild with enough money and clout to complain. But still, Skill Trainers provide a valuable service, and so he has managed to start his business and keep it under the table. To a degree. With many a bribe. But his quiet anonymous life of research, practice, and training was about to change. When the Baron demands you pay him a visit, you have little choice.
The Arcane Gunslinger
A lazy celestial being's mistake leads to Sergeant William Remington, a decorated member of the Coalition Marines, to be placed into a new body. His old life aboard the Valkyrie, an interstellar destroyer has also been replaced as he finds his new body in an unknown world. Where he learns of magic, skills, the system, helhorses, and slinging lead with ancient revolvers. Initially, he is skeptical of his new norm but the desire to survive leads him to try to earn a living while he figures out what just happened to his life. He's a fighter but far from the elite, a grunt with some experience. But what better way than to fall back to what he's familiar with, weapons and going after criminals and rebels. With the added challenges of monsters. This is my first Litrpg writing. It's a wild west fantasy setting with the MC taking a role as a gun-slinging bounty hunter in a world of magic and monsters. Hope you enjoy it. UPDATES AT 3PM EST ON MONDAYS AND THURSDAYS! Warning. The story has a slow start because I'm trying to keep my MC realistic. It takes him some time to adjust to his new surroundings, start to make some friends, and really get into the swing of it. I kind of think it's dumb when an isekai's MC manages to blink twice and suddenly adapts to their new world without any sort of struggle or learning period. So not doing that but don't worry Will may be confused and a bit unfocused at first but he'll grow into his own. Also using it to practice my digital artwork... which is far from par but improving. Keep an eye on author notes for maps and depictions of monsters and characters.
Not to mention all the different franchises and characters I am going to mention, I don't own a single one of these nor do I claim to by writing this, I just want people to have something to enjoy since I am drained on my other work.I hope you enjoy, and to say it right off the bat since this is something that upsets me, I don't mind if you're critical of the work, but jesus, don't be rude. I love criticism but I hate people that go and put a 1 star with no reason, but if you put 1 star and give me a good reason then I'll use it to grow as an author! Thanks everyone! Hope you enjoy the story!
The Thing About Apholie: A Wolfwalkers Fanfiction
14 year-old Abigail Rosmere is afraid. Afraid of the wild. Which would make being friends with Apholie Lilliput, a wild girl from the nearby woods, sound very ironic. She's the only wild thing Abigail isn't afraid of. But when Apholie accidentally turns her into her species, far unlike any human, Abigail's world is turned upside down. And when Apholie is in danger, will Abigail run and save herself or stay and fight to protect the only thing she has left to call her own? (This is my first story on Wattpad and it is inspired by Wolfwalkers. I do not own the movie, it's characters, plot or any part of it at all. Credit goes to the original creators, Cartoon Saloon. I do own this sh*tty fanfic however, lol)*WATCH WOLFWALKERS FIRST BEFORE READING THIS FANFIC, IT WILL MAKE MORE SENSE, JUST TRUST ME!!!!*Additional stuff, (lol):Updates will most likely be very slow, mainly either due to school or lack of motivation. Also, I do not take requests. I do, however, take constructive criticism. My writing will most likely get better with the more books I compose, cus honestly I'm not too proud of this, but I'm too lazy to change it so I'm sticking with it. This was made with no planning whatsoever, so be prepared for some parts that may not make any sense. Lack of self confidence aside, I do hope you enjoy!(Thx for the 107 views, by the way!)
