《SUNRISE ༘ bakugo katsuki》10

You entered the building and noticed that everyone was quite chatty, talking about the new interior of the building's 3rd floor.
"We should go there sometime!"
"We can finally check out some girls in those fitted pants hehe."
These were some of the statements that you managed to pick up as you passed by your fellow workers. Some were excited, confused, curious, and just plain perverts.
It was still a bit early, so you decided to check the 3rd floor.
As you waited for the elevator to fill up, your phone buzzed.
just a heads up
the gym relocated
You typed away your reply as you waited for the elevator to reach the 3rd floor.
Where?
Letting out a soft 'ping' as the elevator stopped. You followed the crowd and checked why everyone was so excited about the new third floor, especially the women.
"That blonde is kinda hot, don't you think?"
"Ugh daddy."
Your phone buzzed once again as you tried to check through the glass doors, using your height as an advantage.
third floor of the
u.a. company
U.A. Company? What are the odds. The gym is located exactly where you work.
"Bakubro! Check out all those girls looking at you!" Krishima said as he laughed. Katsuki frowns and faces away from the glass doors, which makes the women frown and whine.
Katsuki's phone notified a message and he quickly swiped it open.
You seem to have
quite a lot of
fangirls.
Katsuki's eyebrows furrowed and whips his head to confirm his suspicions.
There you were, standing outside the gym as the small crowd began to fade, going back to their own departments.
"No way! Is that L/N? He works here?" Kirishima bewilderedly asked as he saw where Katsuki was intently staring at.
Katsuki rushed to the glass doors to get out. His eyes slightly widened with his lips parted a little. Damn, he finally gets to see you. Earlier than expected.
"What the hell? You work here? You didn't tell me." Katsuki says as he finally stands in-front of you.

"You didn't ask. Plus, you didn't tell me the gym was relocating." You said.
"Fair enough." Katsuki mumbles.
"Did you miss me?" You asked and Katsuki glared.
"No. I wouldn't even mind if your trip extended." Katsuki says through lying lips.
You hummed in amusement. "Really? You looked excited when you saw me." You said.
No way. "I'm not, for your information. I was just surprised." Katsuki says. That's right. I was surprised. No way in hell I'd miss him.
"Y/N!" You and Katsuki looked to the side and saw Hagakure. She smiled widely and clung on to you by hugging your arm.
Katsuki stepped back a little and his eyes briefly widened. Who is she? Why is she hugging him?
"Goodmorning, Y/N! Seems like the third floor was a gym! I thought another department would use it." Hagakure chimes and her eyes landed on Katsuki.
"Ah, I'll be leaving now." Katsuki immediately says and rushes back inside.
"Who's he, Y/N?" Hagakure asked and you lightly removed her clinging arm from you. As you did so, your brain was searching for answers.
Who is Bakugo Katsuki? Telling her that he's your personal trainer feels vague, and you can't say he's a friend since you weren't sure if you were friends with Katsuki or not, and just leaving it as an acquaintance feels wrong, you've even kissed him before.
"Y/N?"
"Partner." You immediately said.
"Partner?" Hagakure questions as the two of you arrive back on the second floor.
"I mean, in the gym. We work out in the gym." You said. Why is labeling a relationship so hard?
As soon as Katsuki entered the gym, he immediately started his workout routine. He looked pissed, his eyebrows were deeply furrowed with a frown on his lips.
Frankly, he couldn't understand why he was acting this way. And he couldn't accept that he got pissed by the sight of a woman leeching on you.
"Bro, chill man. You're too intense." Kirishima said as he approached Katsuki.

"Buzz off." Katsuki said and continued his intense exercise. He just wanted to let off some steam by tiring his body out.
But lo and behold, even after a few hours later, he couldn't get the image of someone clinging on you in his mind.
His brain suddenly replayed a memory when you said you've dated women before.
No fucking way. Was she your ex? For fuck's sake this was making his head ache so bad.
The possibility of her being your ex was quite high, according to Katsuki's logical reasoning.
The woman was very clingy towards you, and maybe she hasn't moved on from you since you and her work in the same office.
He hated himself. Why was he so occupied with the thought of you having your ex in the same workplace? Why was he so pissed at the thought?
All he's feeling didn't sit well with him. He wanted to stop the disgusting twist in his stomach and the slight pang in his chest.
Every feeling he's experiencing was alien to him.
Or he was just denying his true feelings.
It was currently 9 in the evening, you were partially done with your paperwork and decided to finish them by tomorrow. You checked the time and settled on visiting the gym. It was getting late anyway so you couldn't do your workout now.
Surprisingly, Katsuki was still in the gym. You entered and watched him organize the equipment.
You placed your laptop briefcase (No, there's no laptop inside) on a nearby bench, took off your blazer, and loosened your tie.
You wordlessly helped Katsuki. "Oy, what are you doing here?" Katsuki asked when he saw you folding mats.
"Helping." You shortly replied.
Katsuki wanted to talk back but remained quiet and let you help him. After a few minutes, the gym was tidy and organized. Katsuki went to the changing room while you went to the bench and wore your blazer.
Katsuki's eyes widened once again when he saw you sitting on the bench. "Why are you still here?" He asked.
"I'll drive you home, Bakugo." You said and stood up, slinging the bag on your shoulder.
Katsuki wanted to refuse, but there wouldn't be any buses at this hour. He sighed. "Just for tonight." He said and turned the gym lights off.
"I highly doubt that." You countered as the both of you entered the elevator, heading to the parking area.
But Katsuki didn't say anything, no sarcastic remarks nor irritated responses. You let this slide for a while, thinking he must've been tired from cleaning and organizing the gym.
But when you parked outside his apartment building, Katsuki only mumbled a small 'thanks' and got out of the car.
You didn't even get to say 'goodnight'.
You sighed and stared at his figure, begrudgingly walking towards his unit. You were sure of it, something's definitely wrong.
But you didn't want to pressure Katsuki. If he wanted to open up to you, better, if not then it's fine. The both of you weren't even in that type of relationship where you openly tell someone of your problems.
When he entered his unit, you left and went to yours. You changed to your sleeping clothes and laid down on your bed.
Goodnight, Bakugo.
Katsuki stared at the message. If he was going to ignore you, then you'd probably pester him with questions.
night
His one word messages were nothing new to you, but right now, his texts were bothering you. You were curious, you wanted to know why he's acting that way.
But repeatedly, what were you to him? Although, you were sure you weren't someone connected to him on a deeper level to the point that he'd open up to you.
Asking him directly would mean a direct rejection and he would even probably ignore you for being pushy.
But again, you were stubborn. So, sticking to his side would be the best option to get answers from him. You carefully typed out the next words, conveying to him that you were there. Anytime.
I'll see you
tomorrow.

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.
