"Look at my drawing," I said.

He glanced for a moment then looked back to the television. "Good job. It looks like a five year old did it."

Defeated, I went back to my room. A couple hours later, I returned with a new drawing.

"Look at my drawing," I said. "And don't say it looks like a five year old did it."

He clicked his tongue and smiled. "I wouldn't say that." He dropped his smile and returned to the televison. "It looks like a seven year old did it."
