Then I tried explaining, but she kept interupting me with, "Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?"
"Why are you acting like a five year old?!" I shouted.
Then she kept sticking out her tongue and blowing. In Canada, they're called blowing raspberries. Funny, right? Not for me!
I turned on music really loud to drown her out. Then she said, "Now I have to talk louder!"
"Stop talking!"
"LALALALALA!" and she didn't stop for a while.
She turned down the radio and started nudging me with her elbow. "Whatcha doing? KC, whatcha doing? Hey, whatcha doing?"
All the people reading and probably laughing, my message to you is you may think it's funny, but try living with her for 17 years!

A world away from what she knew, in which she will hopefully heal, be happy, and survive its side of darkness.
