Never in my life, I have thought that I'll lay my head on someone's shoulder one day. My eyes got heavier and heavier -as my movement became more and more sluggish as my mind simply wandered off from their conversation.
Where were they taking me? It has been hours that we have been on the road. The smooth movement of the car created this soothing slow rhythmic motion, making my muscles relax.
The sound of vehicles passing by us made me softly yawn as my body invaded Leo's personal space as I cuddle up to his warmth.
He didn't seem to mind that I'm in his personal space. I didn't care... what he thought about me at this moment. I was too tired and cold and hungry to care.
One thing for sure is that he was better than pressing my forehead on the cold hard glass. He is much more comfier to lay my head-on.
His deep voice and soft scent of his cologne were beginning to lull me to sleep, just like last night. All I wanted to do was invite him into my bed, again.
I hope he doesn't find me annoying for always clinging to him as if he was my life support. I was probably taking advantage of his kindness.
The gentle rhythmic motion came to a stop, the turning of keys made me open my heavy eyelids. Immediately, A frown graced my face at what I saw.
Where the heck are we?
This place looked deserted, everything was so quiet. This silence was so deafening and the darkness that was dominating the sky - amplified that feeling.
My eyes went to Leo's and his sharp eyes were pointed at Kevin, who was quietly getting off his seatbelt and smoothly getting out of the vehicle.
"Are you coming or not? I don't have all day. "Kevin questioned his brother who seemed more relentless on leaving the vehicle.
"What's wrong? " I question as I sit up rubbing my right eye with my palm.
"Nothing... He likes to play too much. " He sighs out. A knock on the glass window startled me, then another knock is heard again as Kevin's face comes into view.
"Hurry up. I'm hungry. " he mouths as he steps away from the car. I unbuckle my seat belt as Leo does the same. When the vehicle door opened, I instantly regretted it. This gush of cold air caresses my exposed skin making goosebumps erupt on my skin.
I put on the hoodie and stepped out. The more my eyes scanned around the deserted area the more my nerve tangled in a tingling mess. My eyes followed Kevin as he entered a sketchy looking restaurant.
Is this even a restaurant? It seems so out of place here. If it is one. Maybe, I should just stay in the vehicle.
When I was about to take my first step back, I felt myself being lifted. My gaze instantly settles on Leo.
"Put me, down. I can walk, you know." He can't be serious. He wouldn't dare carry me inside a restaurant... people would stare at us weirdly.

" I know that you can walk. But you can't do it fast enough to keep up with me so... this will have to do for now. "A smirk graces his lips when I send him a sharp glare. Someone seems to be enjoying carrying me around.
Doesn't it tire him out to always carry me like this?
The door to the place opens up and I instantly avert my gaze away... When I catch a glimpse of a big male covered in tattoos. The inked piece covering his arms and neck made him look so intimidating that I swayed my eyes off of him so quickly and placed them back on Leo, again. He apparently wasn't so fazed by the inked guy presence at all.
The white soft beam down on his strong features. A smile graces his lips when his dark eyes zero in on my worried expression. His white teeth were even more captivating in the soft white glow from the street lights that shone down at us.
"What's wrong? " his words made me send him a look. Is he not seeing the guy covered in tattoos?
The guy with the tattooed arms saw us approaching and held the door open for us. He sends me a weird puzzled look. Then his puzzle gaze trailed up to Leo's, and it intensifies even more.
I utter a small 'Thank you' and the tattooed man nods. When we were inside my jaw dropped at what I saw.
why the tattooed guy was giving us weird looks.
This is no freaking restaurant... Kevin does play too much. His brother is right on that statement.
My wide eyes went to Leo who already was looking not so happy about being here.
This was a strip club. Strippers dancing up and down the poles.
They had little to no fabric on them. They showed off their curvaceous toned bodies with pride.
This enormous room was dark. The only source of light was the red glow that decorated the stage. It made the customers that are gaping at the dancer mesmerized by the dancer's flexibility and sensuality that they emitted dancing on those poles as the hypnotic tune plays in the background.
My cheeks warm-up when a girl fixing her top winks at me when she passes by.
Oddly, this place was filled with two kinds of people, girls in groups drinking and having a good time celebrating something and making it rain with dollar bills and guys in pairs of two watching the strippers exotically dance on those shiny poles.
"I thought... Kevin said he was hungry."
"Yeah... He is for sure. " My eyes go where Leo is staring at, with such intensity. My vision lands on Kevin who's heading somewhere with a brunette holding his hand.
This guy is insensitive, rude, and so mean.
Is he doing this shit on purpose?
Well, it shouldn't surprise me that he'll bring me here.
The strong smell of alcohol invaded my nose when Leo began to make himself towards the bar. People got out of his way. Who wouldn't when you look like you could kill someone with one punch?

I've noticed that many of the females here would eye him when he strolled by them. It was hard to miss a tall handsome guy like him in a place like this. I don't blame them for even staring, either.
He set me gently on the white stool, and then he sat right next to me. A woman with half pink and half black curly hair -walks over to us with a charming smile.
"What brings you here, Leo?"She shot him a flirtatious smirk, as her eyes gleamed under these dim red lights. Her body slightly leans on the flat surface of the bar countertop when she gets closer to him.
Her looks were surreal, her tan flawless skin emphasizes her forest dark green eyes that had strikes of honey brown molded in them.
He must be a regular if she knows his name. It seems that Kevin likes to mess with his brother too much.
"Do you need a little stress reliever? "
My eyes instantly go to Leo's. What stress reliever is she talking about?
Leo clears his throat when he feels me staring at him" No. Just a drink, today."She frowns upon hearing his words. Her green eyes settle down on me, and then a smile makes a way to her beautiful face, again.
"Do you need one, instead? You look a little down sweetheart." For some reason, my heart flutters at her words.
It's like my heart understood what she was saying but my brain didn't.
"No, she doesn't need it. Either. "Her attention was taken off of me and pulled back to Leo's when she heard his low tone.
"You guys are no fun. "She pouts and gets off the counter, and continues speaking " So what do I get you, guys?"
I'm not even old enough to drink...
I look at all the bottles of liquor behind her. There were hundreds to choose from and none of them tasted good. But they looked good for decorations only.
" Whisky" Is all Leo says. How is he so calm? We could get in trouble for this. Am I the only one freaking out inside?
Then her whole focus is back on me, again. I squirmed a little in my seat. I hope, I don't sound stupid for asking this.
"Hmmm... water?"She erupts into laughter, making me regret even asking that stupid question.
Her laughter creased when her gaze landed back on Leo -Who right now wasn't looking too pleased with her reaction at all. The way he was gazing at her was new to me. I never saw him that serious.
"Sorry, sweetheart. It's just... it's very unusual for people to ask for water, in a place like this."
"It's okay. I understand."I throw her a little smile trying to ease the tension that is starting to engulf us in its flames.
She takes off, leaving me here with a serious-looking Leo who was still eyeing her with a very serious expression on his face.
I lightly tug on his white t-shirt, and he snaps his head down at me.
"Are you, okay? " His eyes soften and he nods. When she comes back, she has a small bottle of water and a bottle of whisky in her hands.
She set it on the counter and pulled two cups from the other side. She sets the two glass cups right in front of us. And she only placed ice cubes in mine.
She served me first and I thank her.
When I take, the first sip of ice water. The cold liquid gliding down my dry throat and stopping at my empty belly made a tiny smile make its way to my face, simply satisfied that I got something inside my stomach.
" Your girlfriend is even cuter when she smiles. "The girl with the green eyes says as she gently pours the strong liquor inside Leo's glass cup.
My cheeks warm up to her weird words. My wide eyes go directly to Leo waiting for him to say something, but he doesn't. All he does is stare at me.
His dark eyes gleamed with glee. Wasn't he going to correct her?
When I was about to open my mouth to say something, she stepped away to serve another customer.
My gaze goes back to his. A little smile pulled on the corner of his lips as he took another sip of his drink, eyeing me.
It seems like he's amused by my reaction to her weird words.
The young woman returns with something in her hands. Two bags of chips. She handed it to me and said "Take this as an apology for my insensibility and don't worry it's on the house"...
They were regular lays chips. I happily took it and kindly thanked her, again. She winks and walks away.
When the bag opens, a smile takes over my face. The first chip I plopped into my mouth, made me plop another one inside instantly.
I didn't know strip clubs served food. That explains why I saw some of the people in groups have food on their table.
Right now... I was in my own little world. Eating my chips quietly as I swung my legs back and forth with the rhythm of the music that was playing.
"So cute." When I hear those words my head picks up to Leo, who is right now staring at me.
Then I remember that he told me he was hungry, so I handed over the other medium size bag of chips to him. He raises an eyebrow at me.
He shakes his head and says " No, thanks. You need it more than me." I pull back the bag of chips with a small frown on my face and he dares to chuckle and take another sip of his strong drink.
All I hope is that Kevin hurries up and diminishes his hunger.
