Leo kills the engine and effortlessly makes himself out of the vehicle.
Throughout the whole ride, both of the brothers were absolutely quiet. The silence between them made me sink into my seat more. Not knowing, what to do to ease the silent torture that both of them were making me go through.
This hard frown that Leo sported on his exterior never smoothed out.
His knuckles were ghostly white. It amazes me that the leather steering wheel is intact even though it was taking Leo's wrath. If Leo had a chance to kill his clone that is sitting right next to him right now… no doubt in my mind that he'll kill him for making him stress out.
Kevin, on the other hand, seemed lenient. And quiet. Once in a while he would glimpse through his side mirror and make eye contact with me. Just for me to break it in seconds… and look back out the window.
I tried breaking the thick suffocating atmosphere that overwhelmed us in this small space. But none of them would respond to me when I talked to them.
At this point, my tingling nerves wouldn't calm down. And they weren't helping me ease them either.
Throughout the whole ride home my worried thoughts wouldn't leave me alone. All my emotions molded into one… Not knowing how my father was going to react scared me.
I think my father heard the car parking in the driveway because the front door swung open and my father walked out as Ms.Nancy followed behind him closely.
The look on their faces said it all. We are in deep trouble. My heart rate picked up as my hands began to shiver. I smooth my trembling hands down my thighs a couple of times, to ease them... But it didn't work.
Unfastening my seat-belt, opening the door, and smoothly getting out of the vehicle was the easy part. The frosty night breeze blows my long curls around the frame of my face as I attempt to soothe my heightened nerves under this soft thick sweater that was aiding me in this chilliness.

The dull sky was starless as the huge moon shone down on this peaceful neighborhood.
One more car door slammed shut after mine and a soft beep emitted from the car when Leo locks it with his keys.
My father approaches us. A frown plastered on his complexion as he eyed all three of us.
I never thought I would be in trouble, and it's all Kevin's fault. I don't know how Leo does it every time Kevin drags him into trouble and still comes out sane.
"Why are you guys so late… Where have you all been?
Why don't you pick up your cellphones, when I called you multiple times ?" He eyed the two guys who stood there not uttering a single word.
"Is... that blood on your t-shirt, Leo? " My father's full attention landed on Leo. Waiting on a justification for being this late and looking like how he does. But when Leo was about to explain I interrupted him.
"It- it's my fault. I got hungry and got a little too picky about what I—I wanted to eat.
So-So we drove around for a while. " I quickly let out as I began to pluck the sleeves of my soft sweater with my nails when my father's eyes gravitated towards me.
His brown eyes narrowed as he stepped a bit closer.
"And how did you get that?" he points at my face as he closes the gap between us. Shit… what do I do?
He tugs my hoodie down and he turns my face slightly to the right, to examine it more clearly.
You had to be blind not to notice, especially when my left cheek feels like it enlarged a little.
I think quickly trying to conjure up a believable lie. Both the brothers were eyeing me, quietly. " I-I accidentally bumped into someone's girlfriend and made her spill her beverage on herself. The guy-guy just hit me.
Leo—Leo saw that and he beated him bloody. That's why he has blood on his clothes.
Kevin was not there... When—when it happened. He went to take a bathroom break." My eyes stilled on his dark doubtful ones.

It wasn't entirely a . There was some truth in there... But is a little distorted to fit a more acceptable excuse.
Leo did beat a guy bloody almost to death, and by the looks of him… If he had a chance to go back to the strip club and find the guy laying there on the floor unconscious, He'll probably finish what he started.
And Kevin did take a long ass break... But with a brunette doing who knows what. It's like today he wanted to piss off his twin brother.
Ms. Nancy raises an eyebrow as she eyed the guys. In those bright eyes of hers, skepticism shined in them.
It seems like she knew something wasn't adding up. But… she doesn't say anything at all.
Did I leave any gaps in my story? I don't think so… It's forged to perfection... will almost to perfection.
I hope it was believable to believe so it can ease down this suffocating tension in the atmosphere that was eating at my tingling nerves.
" I'm sorry, Dad. For coming home so late.
But I was hungry and I—I didn't notice that time was flying by so quickly. " He sighs out when he sees moisture gathering in my eyes.
He hugs me, engulfing me in his warmth and his soft aroma. A sigh leaves my lips as my tensed muscle loosens up when he doesn't lash out at me like my mother.
" It's okay, sweetheart. But don't ever come home late, again. I was so worried something happened to you guys."
I nodded as I eyed the guys. Who oddly hasn't said a single word... All they did was stare at me.
This odd sensation in my heart made me feel bad for bluntly lying to my father like this. He has too much to worry about for us to add something new to his long list of worries.
Plus, if he ever found out that Kevin took me to a strip club. He'll probably get a heart attack or bury Kevin in a cemetery alive for taking me to such a dangerous place full of drunks and beautiful strippers.
My heavy eyes land on Ms.Nancy. She has a soft glare adorning her face, again. Her pink lips slightly twisting downward. Only it wasn't directed at me but at the guys who were eyeing her… waiting for her to do something.
It was like all three of them were having an internal battle with each other... Only using their eyes as communication.
My father released me from his tight warm hug. Ms.Nancy snapped her hard gaze away from the guys that were still staring at her with an unreadable expression
Leo seems a bit tensed out. His jaw clenched as a little frown carved its way on his face, again.
While Kevin looked calm and collected.
"Let's go inside before you catch a cold." My father says cutting off my attention from the guys, as he makes himself towards the front door.
I slowly followed behind him. I was like a baby deer mix with a snail at how odd and slow, I was walking.
The guys followed closely behind as Ms.Nancy eyed them. It's like she wants to catch a glimpse of what they were thinking so quietly inside their heads. I also wanted to know... What's going through their heads, right now.
” Let's put you an ice pack on the swollen cheek before it gets worse. " My father steered me towards the kitchen.
He goes to the steel fridge and gets it for me. When the cold bag pressed against my warm cheek, goosebumps covered my entire body.
I felt relaxed being in the safety of my home with my dad,
