As I was putting my make up on, there was a knock on my door.
"Come in." The door creeked open and in walked Nicole, looking stunning as ever. I didn't bother to turn around because I could see her in the mirror. She was obviously nervous about something. "Everything okay, sweetheart?" I was starting to get worried.
"Um... no. I mean, yes. Look. The only things I know about you are the things I heard on the internet and learned because of the protocols. I want to get to know you for who you are." What was she talking about? I mean, she was right, maybe we didn't know each other quite that well. "So, since we haven't actually did it... Would you like to go on a date with me, Diane?" She continued. Oh my god. I'm feeling like teenager again. I can't believe she's actually asking me out. It's so adorable. Even though it could get complicated, I really want to do it. I got up from my chair and got closer to her.
"I would be really happy to." We smiled like idiots and kissed. The joy in her eyes was sparkling.
"I will pick you up tonight." She said cockily and left the room.
A little later that day, a knock on my door was heard again. This time I got up to open it. I was wearing a half black half white short dress, a little above my knee. It showed a lot of my cleavage, so I'm guessing Nicole will love it. Also, I picked the colors for her. As I opened the door, I got what I expected. Her mouth dropped to the ground as she saw me. I'm betting my reaction looked the same to her as I saw her in a white tight shirt, very open. She wore elegant black pants that were also tight, and white sandals with heels.

"Miss Porter."
"Miss Wallace."
"Shall we go?" She held her hand out and so I reached for it, crossing our fingers.
"Lead the way."
Since we couldn't really go to a restaurant or any stuff like that in public yet, she arranged a picnic on a meadow not too far from my home. You could see the Hollywood sign from there and the sky was something to admire also. We had some grapes, cheese and of course, wine. She asked all the questions she had about me and I happily answered. She got to learn about my family that lives in Oregon and how supportive they were when I was about to move to become an actress. My older sister, who's now married happily and has two children. And of course the past love life she already knew about.
"So, that's all there is to know about me." I looked deeply in her eyes. "Now you."
"Well, I joined the army right when I finished high school. My parents weren't that happy about it, but James was over the roof." We both laughed at the thought of him. "By the time I was 21 I left the army due to certain circumstances. I lived with my parents for a year until I got a job offer from James, and know I'm here with you." I wondered why she left the army.
"May I ask what was the reason for leaving?" I asked skeptically.
She sighed before answering. "I used to have a girlfriend. Her name was Fiona. She was my best friend, we really loved each other. One day, she died in a plane crash. After that, I got really messed up and was diagnosed with PTSD. I had to go to therapy every day for 8 months until my nightmares and the outbursts stopped." Her eyes watered after this and so did mine.

"Oh my god, I had no idea. That's horrible, I'm so sorry." I got closer to her on the blanket as we were laying on it. She nuzzled herself against me and cried for a while. I was so happy that she could open up and sad that she lived through all of it.
"I love you." The words flew out of my mouth and I felt so stupid.
She looked at me with her sad eyes. "I'm sorry, I don't know why I said that..."
"Don't be. I love you too." I adored her at this moment.
"You do?" I bit my lip out of insecurity.
She nodded lightly and kissed me. We got into a full make out and all the love was felt.
