For those of you that have stuck around for a while (I have no idea why you would), you may have noticed it's been a hot minute since I've updated this book. The reason for that is:

This. Book. Is. Shit.

I've honestly tried to stick with this book since so many people were reading and enjoying it, but it's not working out. There's no plot. Each "chapter" is a pointless filler. I made the MC too much like myself and therefore I can't really figure out how to develop a romance without the MC becoming OOC.

And to be honest, this book is all over the place. Last minute additions in the book like inserting new characters for love interests because the original cast just didn't have much appeal. The characters are too flat character-wise. And I totally forgot that Randall was supposed to have a little brother.

I started writing this book almost two years ago (though I didn't publish it until half a year later), and lemme tell you my writing skills were shit. They're still shit, but less shit if you know what I mean.

But fear not! I am not abandoning this story completely!

I'm going to completely revamp it. Rewrite it. Try to figure out a basic storyline where I can develop romance and actually create opportunities for steamy scenes.

Lmao, I don't know how many times I mentioned my intent to write steamy scenes soon in this book.

So basically I realized that trying to stick with this old version of a story would just make me not want to write anymore and make me feel like I write shit- which I do, but I want it to be good shit, not shitty shit.

And one big thing that I hate about the beginning of the novel and want to smack my 15 year old self about is:

The MC was suicidal, but then magically became okay with living life. Like, what?! IT AIN'T THAT EASY YOU DUMBASS FETUS.

Anyway, I've dragged this on longer than needed.

In basic summary, I'm rewriting this book so I can feel better about myself. I will keep this version published because many people seem to enjoy it, for whatever weird reason.

PS, I WILL be using that questionaire thing like 2-3 parts ago as reference when rewriting, so expect some new characters in the rewrite.

For anyone who's disappointed or angry, I'm sorry. I am a selfish bastard who quite frankly wants to retain any shred of pride by starting new instead of working on a house sitting on a shitty foundation.

PPS The rewrite will definitely retain some of my usual shit-posty humor, but there will most likely be more dark humor that those with morbid minds may enjoy.
