"Yes I am the Alpha, I heard that you needed to talk to me"

I heard her heart beat faster, as I walked towards her in bed.

Its good to know that, I wasn't the only one affected by our mate bond.

"Yes I did um I..."

I heard her sentence trail off, as I stood directly in front of her and the little pup on her lap. The pup was visibly shaking because of my presence. but that is to be expected, considering I was an Alpha and all.

"I hear you wanted to talk about the pup" I continued trying to get her to openly talk to me.

I liked to consider myself, a rather patient man. but I'm not just a man, but one with a maddening wolf who wanted this woman. And i can only handle so much before, I'm ready to snap.

It was taking all of his will power, not to claim her at that moment. Screw the pup and the rest of his packs well being.

This isn't like him. He wasn't used to having a desire so strong that, he was willing to dismiss all responsibility. He wasn't sure if he liked this at all.

"Y-yes I want to adopt Luke" she stated while pulling the pup protectively against her chest.

I didn't like her natural reactions toward me. She acts as though, i would harm the both of them . doesn't she know that we would give our lives just to protect her.

Sandy's pov

I have to get off this bed, it's putting me at a disadvantage. There is no way he will take me seriously with this height difference.

So i got up and pulled my Luke to my side, making sure to keep his hand in mine. But getting made little difference, If anything I felt more vulnerable. I didn't even reach his shoulders. DARN this dwarf gene!

**** I mean no disrespect by that statement. its just that I'm also short, and by short I mean even my little brother ( who is 4 years younger) is taller than me.... ok back to the story****

"My name is Sandy Gordon I just moved into town. I work at the local primary school, so I can easily take care of Luke."

" What would you know about taking care of a pup, human." he growled.

He actually growled at me! I know that he is a wolf but these animalistic growls, still manage to take me off guard.

"did you just say human, to me?" I questioned, " Who the hell do you think you are, you think you can talk down on me. Just because your the big bad wolf! "

I don't know where all this anger came from, but between the moment when I found out that wolves existed and meeting Chad in the woods to this meeting with the Alpha. Something in me was sick and tired, of being looked down at just because I'm HUMAN.

They can all kiss my ass. Being here was already driving me crazy.

I could tell by the look on his face that, he was shocked as well as angered by my outburst. But I already felt terrible, I'm never one for temper tantrums.

I guess the shock finally kicked in.
