Alpha Jordans pov

I was torn between, admiration and anger for my little spitfire outburst.

Admiration because she has the b*lls to call me on my bullsh*t, which let's me know she isn't a pushover. But from her facial experssion, i could already tell that she is already remorseful. Which is perfect. This just proves that she will make a great Luna.

She is willing to stand up for what she believes in, and isn't afraid to let others know. but she is also kind hearted, something my pack isn't used to receiving from me.

And although i wasn't pleased initially, about having a human mate. It seems like, it will have some benefits after all.

But I was also angered that she would dare, talk back at me. I am her Alpha!

but I wasn't, now am I... she isn't a wolf after all and she doesn't know that we are tied in everyway; in body, soul, and spirit.

This knowledge angered me. I have to show her that she is mine, that she belongs to me. But I also belong to her. And this took me off guard. There has never been a moment where I wished to belong to someone... until now.

My wolf was surfacing and he, was demanding our mates submission. We walked closer to her, and we were immediately overwhelmed with her scent. It was subtly but still bold, she smelled like vanilla and brown sugar.

I grabbed her chin, forcing her to look up to me. And i leaned down, overcome by the need to place claim on her. The same way that men did generations ago, up until this day.

I leaned down towards her lips, I look at her eyes checking to see if this wasn't what she wanted. but all I saw was anticipation.

I drew in a deep breath letting it go just above her lips and...

"mommy can I go play?"

And that's all it took, for mates attention to be taken off me. I let out a little growl of frustration.

Sandy's pov

I let out a deep sigh, I wasn't sure whether I was more thankful or disappointed.

Cause deep inside, I really wanted to kiss the Alpha. This admission didn't come easy nor was it welcome at this moment.

All I should be worried about, is if he will allow me to adopt Luke. Not wondering if he is a great kisser!

After the little pep talk I felt a bit better. so I turned around and faced Luke, ready to meet his needs.

"What did you say baby?"

"May go play outside with the others? " he pleads, using his eyes too.

Between the Alpha and Luke, they will be the death of me.

But ow what a pleasant death it will be.

"I'm not sure honey..." I say.

I was hesitant because, I didn't know if there will be any adult supervision.

But deep inside my head, this voice taunts me. right it has nothing to do with, not wanting to be alone with the hunk in front of you.

" You have nothing to worry about, we have a group of women standing by. checking on the kids well fair. They are well looked after"

well there goes the thought of keeping my distance.!

"thank you Alpha"

"Jordan..." he states

" excuse me?" I questioned, feeling completely at a loss.

" My name is Jordan, you will address me as such mate!" he orders.

did he just say mate, what was that... A word to cuss all us HUMANS?

And these orders he and Chad keep giving ME, are starting to get really old and annoying. But I keep my calm, I couldn't afford to anger the Alp... I mean Jordan. when he holds the power to take Luke away from me.

" Yes of course... Jordan"

I turn around and knell before Luke, I tell him he can go. But to be careful, next thing the little rascal is running out with a big smile on his face.

Then it's just Me and the Alpha.

And all that runs through my mind is. Is this how little red Riding Hood felt, when she was facing the BIG BAD WOLF?
