That day was one of the best days in their life until then. Karishma and Haseena though met rarely, developed a really good bond with each other in those few weeks. One fine day, while team MPT was busy doing their work, a well to do man with his wife entered the thaana. They seemed from an influential background. More from a business background.
The team assembled around them as they asked for help.
The Man- Please koi hamari help kijiye..madam please hamari help kijiye...
Karishma- Ji ji..batayiye kaa takliff hai aapko..
Man- Ji madam mera naam Ramesh Manchandani hai. Aur yeh meri patni Sunita..Mera textile ka business hai...
Pushpaji (excitedly)- Haan wahi na jiski ad tv par aati hai..
Ramesh (awkwardly)- ji..toh hamari na ek samasya hai..darasal hamari beti ki shaadi hai 4 din baad..
Santosh (innocently)- Toh aapki samasya hai shaadi!
Cheeta- Uff yeh dulhan wala masumiyat.
Karishma glared at the two and said sternly.
Karishma- Aap log bolne dijiyega inko!!!
Santu- Sorry madam.
Ramesh- Toh baat aisi hai ki iss shaadi ko ham badi dhum dham sey karna chahtey hai..sab kuch theek thak chal raha hai...dono families matlab ladke walon ki taraf sey bhi haan hai. Bas ek problem hai jo ki aaj hi hui hai..
Karishma- Aur vo kaa?
Ramesh- Ji aaj subha hamey hamarey kamre me ek letter mila tha. Ham padhke ekdum dang reh gaye. Hamey toh samjh hi nahi aa raha ham kya karein...yeh letter dekhke hamara BP badh gaya hai..
Sunita (scared)- Aap sidha mudde pey aayiye na...dekhiye madam..hamey kidnapping ki dhamki mili hai...
Karishma- Kaa? Dhamki? Kaisa dhamki?
Sunita took out a piece of paper from her bag and handed it over to Karishma.
She unfolded it to find something scribbled on it.
I warn you! Yeh shaadi kisi bhi keemat pey nahi honi chahiye warna tumhari beti ko utha lengey! Uskey baad karna shaadi mandap pey! Mind you..agar yeh shaadi hui toh tumhari ladki kisi bhi halat mey zinda nahi milegi! Bas 4 din bachey hai..faisla badal lo!! Warna anjaam bohot bura hoga!
Ramesh- Badi ajeeb baat hai..hamne kabhi kisi se dushmani mol li hi nahi..toh koi kyun aisa kar raha hai?
Sunita- Arey kya pata hamari success dekhke koi aisa kar raha ho..
Karishma- Lekin issney toh paisey nahi mangey na..
Ramesh- Nahi..
Karishma- Toh iska matlab yeh sab paiso ke liye nahi ho raha...kuch aur mamla hai..
Sachmey ladke waale khush hain? Dekhiye bura na maniyega lekin poochna pad raha hai..
Sunita- Arey haan madam..bilkul..hamari dosti ladke walo ke saath bohot purani hai!!
Everybody was confused. What could it be? Why was it?
Karishma- Yeh letter kab mila aapko?
Ramesh- Aaj subha hi..
Karishma- Aapko kya lagta hai kisney kiya hoga aisa?
Ramesh- Wahi toh pata nahi madam.
Karishma- Yeh handwriting pehley kahin dekhi hai?
Sunita- Ji nahi madam..
Karishma- Accha aapkey shaadi mey kitne log aayein hain? Aur kya aap un sab logon ko jaante hain?
Sunita- Haan madam..shaadi mey bas 100 log hi aayein hai..woh bhi hamarey hi relative. Lekin madam mujhey unpe poora bharosa hai..hamari family sey toh koi aisa nahi kar sakta..
Karishma- Lekin kaa hai na..kabhi kabhi imaan badalney me samay nahi lagta..
Sunita- Aisa nahi hai madam..
Pushpaji- Accha accha thik hai..aap shaant ho jayiye..
Karishma- Toh aap hamsey kya chahtey hain?
Ramesh- dekhiye madam..yeh shaadi hona bohot zaruri hai..toh mai yeh nahi rok sakta..magar agar aaap log security dedey toh accha hoga...
Sunita- Aur saath mey yeh bhi pata lagyaein ki yeh sab kar kon raha hai...please madam..
Karishma thought for a while.
Ramesh- Madam please mana mat kariyega..yeh shaadi honi hogi..
Karishma was suspicious as this man was insisting on this marriage. Was it actually a general marriage? She had to find out. This case seemed interesting.
Karishma- Lekin..hamein yeh samjh nahi aa raha hai...ki aap itney badey aadmi hain..kisi bade officer sey aapka pehchan hoga. Aap unse madam kaahe nahi ley rahe?
Ramesh- Hamne iss shehar key DIG sey baat ki thi..unhone hi aapka naam aur iss thaane ka naam suggest kiya..ki iss thaane me koi v case unsolved nahi rehta..madam ham bohot bharosey ke saath aayein hain..
Karishma- Ji theek hai..ham tayyar hai..lekin hamei iss case key liye undercover rehna padega...aur aapko v aisa dikhana padega ki ham ladki waalon ke taraf sey hai taaki kisiko sahk na ho..ham security deney aur case suljhaney ki poori koshish karengey...
Ramesh and Sunita (happily)- Thank you very much madam..
Karishma (smiling)- please thanks mat kahiye..yeh hamara duty hai..vaisey aap hamei aapke venue aur ghar ka address de dijiyega..aur haan pushpaji ke paad FIR likhwa lijiye..
Ramesh- Ji bilkul.
They registered the FIR, and went away.
Pushpaji- Vaisey aapney accha kiya yeh case le liya..hamne bhi boht din ho gaye shaadi attend nahi ki..iss bahane dawat pe ho aayenge..
Santosh- haan wahi na..mere v lehenge almari me pade pade bore ho rahe hongey..
Cheeta- Uff yeh lehenge waala maa...
He stopped due to Karishma hit.
Cheeta- Ouch! Sorry madam sorrrryyyyy...
Karishma- Ama ham wahan bakleiti karne nahi jaa rahein hain..case solve karne jaa rahein hain..toh apna dhyan case pey zyada lagayiega...
Everyone- Ji madam..
Karishma- Jaayiye..jaaney ki tayyari kariye..

Next day they arrived at Manchandani villa in civil dress as they had to be undercover. Manchandi saheb introduced team mpt as their guests and nobody was suspicious about them for the time being. They started their investigation right away. Karishma was taking close look at every guest. None were looking fishy. Everyone was enjoying and there seemed to be nothing wrong until Karishma noticed a familiar face in the house. Her heart throbbed loudly as the face turned towards her. The other person was equally shocked to see her.
Karishma- Madam sir aap?
Haseena- Karishmaji? Aap yahan kya kar rahin hain?
Karishma- Ham...ham woh...
She saw many people were around them so to be safe, she dragged Haseena to a safe/quiet place.

Karishma- Ham yaha ek case ke silsiley mey aaye hain..
Haseena raised her eye brow.
Haseena- Kidnapping ka case hai koi?
Karishma was surprised but she realised something too.
Karishma- Toh kya aap bhi?
Haseena- Ji...
They saw Ramesh walking towards them. He came and was surprised to know that the ladies knew each other.
Ramesh- Oh toh aap dono ek dusrey ko jaanti hain...
Karishma- Ji..lekin aapney do region ke officers ko kyun bulaya?
Ramesh (awkwardly)- Ji extra security ke liye...
Haseena- Lekin agar aap yeh case Sirf Karishma Singh ko handle kartey toh bhi chalta..yeh toh best hai case solving mein..aur inka thaana v toh famous hai.
Karishma smiled looking at her.
Karishma- Hamara v yahi kehna hai..Agar aap sirf Haseena madam ko bulatey toh bhi chalta..yeh v apne kaam me best hai..
Ramesh- Mujhey pata hai madam..lekin dekhiye ek baap ko apni beti ki chinta toh rehti hi hai na..
Haseena- Ji woh toh hai...
Sunita called Ramesh from a distance so he had to go..
Haseena- Karishma singh..hame jitna lagta hai..agar inko itni hi chinta hai apni beti ki, yeh shaadi kara hi kyun rahei hai? Jabki inko pata hai ki kitna khatra hai..
Karishma- Wahi maddam sir..yeh baar baar shaadi ko insist kar rahe hain..
Haseena- Chaliye waisey v..jo hua accha hua..aapke deedar toh huye..case ke bahaney hi sahi..
Karishma blushed lightly.
Haseena- toh kya kehti hain? Milkey solve karein iss case ko?
Karishma- Bilkul!! Waisey aap par yeh shirt aur jeans bohot suit kar raha hai..
Haseena- acchi koshish hai flirt karne ki..lekin improvement chahiye.
Haseena teased her.
Karishma grew red and looked up at her.
Karishma- Ham flirt nahi kar rahe the..bas taarif kar rahe the...
Haseena- Baat toh ek hi hai..
Karishma- Nahi...compliment aur flirt mey bohot fark hota hai..vaisey agar aapki baat ho toh taarif aur flirt ek hi hai..
This time it was Haseena who blushed hard.
Karishma (exclaiming happily)- chaliye aapkey gaal dekhke lagta hai thora thora seekh rahe hain ham v..
Haseena (shyly)- Bas bas..aajke liye itna hi..
Chaliye case pey lag jaatey hain..kyunki ab ham yahin rahengey..mulakat toh hoti hi rahegi..
Karishma- hmm..bat toh sahi hai..chaltey hain..
While they walked to their respective places, they looked back from time to time to see where the other was going. The whole day passed by. The teams kept an eye on every other person and also tried to collect some evidence but there was nothing significant.
In between their patroling, Haseena didn't leave a chance of stealing glances at Karishma.
So did Karishma. Everytime their eyes met a smile formed at their lips.
It was night when everyone finished their dinner. Karishma too finished her dinner and walked near the basin to wash her hand. She used to wear a silver ring. Upon washing her hand with soap, as it was loose, it slipped away and fell on the ground.
At the same time, when Haseena was fidgeting with her own silver ring in her hands while absent-mindedly scrolling through her phone, it slipped away and started rolling on the ground.
Haseena/Karishma-Offo! (Together)
Both of them reached at the spot where they found the the two rings beside each other. The rings looked same so it was difficult to know which one belonged to whom. Both of them were surprised to see the other one.
Karishma- Sanyog (coincidence) par sanyog ho raha hai aaj toh..
Haseena- Vahi toh ham v sochein..ab agar kismat me hi milna likha ho toh ham insaan hi kya kar saktey hai?
Karishma smiled unknowingly while Haseena wiggled her eyebrows at her.
Both of them picked the rings separately.
Karishma- Dono bilkul same dikhte hai..ab pata kaise chalega ki konsa kiska hai?
Haseena- Chinta mat kariye Karishmaji..hamare ring par andar ki taraf ek "H" engrave/likha hua/ kiya hua hai...
She checked the ring which she held herself.
Haseena- Ismey toh nahi hai..
Karishma checked hers one and found an H.
Karishma- Oh toh yeh aapka wala hai..shukar hai...mil gaya..layiye
Karishma unknowingly took Haseena's hand and slid the ring in her ring finger. Haseena too without giving much attention slid the other one in Karishma's ring finger. What they didn't know was they were now unofficially engaged. (😍😍)
Karishma- Aapkey haath bohot mulayam hain..kya use karti hain aap?
Haseena (flirting)- Aap jaise khubsoorat ladki ka compliment.
Karishma (shy yet stern)- Aap thakti nahin hain kya? Poora din kaisey flirt kar leti hain?
Haseena- Toh kya hua..apni hi date key saath flirt kar rahe hain..agar aapko accha nahi lagta toh ham nahi karengey...
Karishma (quickly)- arey nahi nahi..aisa mat boliye..
Haseena- Iska matlab aapko accha lagta hai..
Karishma- Nahi nahi ham aisey nahi keh rahe the..
Haseena- Toh matlab accha nahi lagta..
Karishma (annoyed)- Arey aap hamey kaahe fasa rahi hain..ham kehna chahte hai ki aap jaisi hain waisi hi rahiye..hamey aap waisey hi pasand hain...
Although Karishma blurted it out unintentionally, it didn't go unheard by Haseena. Her heart skipped a beat as Karishma said the sentence. A smile erupt on her lips. It was after a few minutes that Karishma had realised what she said and herself grew shy..
Karishma- Wohh..uh...
Haseena- ham samjh gaye..
Both of them stood with their head low in silence. Smiling to themselves, while their hearts danced, neither had anything more to speak about. Once, their eyes met and both of them looked away quickly and blushed to themselves.
Haseena- uhh...accha toh ham chaltey hain..kal milengey...
Karishma- hmm...good night..
Haseena- Good night..
Even though they returned to their respective rooms, sleep was far away from their eyes. They were glad that their each meeting was turning out to be more interesting and better than the previous one. They hoped it continued!

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

If you do not have the financial means to purchase the books, then you may DM me on discord through my discord channel for a pdf version of the books. This is the first book I ever started out of my four current ongoing stories. This story has been edited through nearly a dozen times since the majority of the reviews, so take that in mind if you read through the reviews. This is a LitRPG and cultivation-based novel where the two are interlinked and the characters have to reach a certain degree of cultivation and a certain level in order to break through into the next tier. I tend to make a lot of maps for this book. I hope that you all enjoy my novel, and feel free to comment on any issues or errors you may notice. My Discord Server Top Web Novel Link
