Arjun p.o.v

2 years later.

Everything seems well in life. I bought a new house from my earnings.

I cracked the biggest deal today and I am very happy.

I was sitting in my office and looking at the files.

It's already too late to work but I have to complete this today. Suddenly my phone started ringing.

"Hello Priya" I spoke.

" Dadda " I heard a soft voice.

My heart fluttered hearing her voice.

"Yes, darling tell me," I said closing my files to pay attention to her.

"You promished you will come hollmm shoon," she said stuttering.

I looked at the clock and it's past 10. Ohh shit I forgot.

"Sorry, Arya I forgot, " I said letting out a deep sigh.

"Arya Dadda will come soon you first have your dinner " I heard Priya saying this to Arya.

" Arya didn't you have your dinner yet that's very bad," I said.

" I was waiting for dadda," she said making me chuckle.

"Dadda will come soon don't wait for me munchkin," I said as I know it will take a lot of time.

"She will eat now, she was being stubborn for you," Priya said

"I tried Priya but there's so much work in the office," I said letting out a sad chuckle.

"It's okay Arjun I know you are busy just complete the work and come home soon we will be waiting for you," she said

" bye love," I said and ended the call.

Arya is really stubborn, but she is beautiful just like her mom.

This new phase of my life being a dad is really wonderful. But I always regret not spending time with my family.

After checking and signing the files I went outside my cabin. I started my car and drove to my house.

As I entered the house small pair of arms hugged my legs. "Arya come here baby, dadda will freshen up and come'' Priya said and lifted Arya in her arms.

I looked at Arya who was very happy seeing me, her glossy eyes were shining for me, her hands are swinging in the air indicating me to lift her.

'' 2 minutes baby I will change my dress, dadda is so dirty '' I said and quickly ran upstairs to change my dress.

after I got freshed up I came downstairs. ''what's for the dinner ladies '' i asked sitting on the kitchen counter.

Priya handed me Arya who was very sleepy and I started swinging her on my shoulder ''baby you are sleepy '' I said and Arya hummed.

Arya is super sensitive. she loves to sleep in my arms. she is so precious to me and Priya.

that's the reason we named ARYA which forms by joining AR from Arjun and YA from the last letter of Priya.

''Go and put her in the cradle before she wakes up again '' Priya said . ''yes mam '' I replied and carefully and went to the nursery room and placed her slowly in the cradle.

I slowly brushed my fingers on her soft cheeks and she smiled. I placed a kiss on her forehead and headed back to Priya.

I quickly hugged Priya from behind who was serving the dinner. she flinched a bit and then turned back to face me. ''I am sorry I am not paying attention to you these days '' I said.

''I am happy that you realized that, and it's totally okay I can understand but spend time with that little monster '' she said as we both chuckled.

I pushed the hair strands which were covering Priyas face back of her ear and looked at her. ''I don't know I miss you these days '' I said. ''I miss you too'' she said and kissed me.

she was expressing how much she missed me during these days while I was being so busy by the kiss and I poured all of my love for her into the kiss.

after that we breathed so hard, she hugged me tightly and rested her head on my chest.I just want time to stop at that moment. I just want her to be in my arms forever.

''I love you '' she mumbled in my chest. ''I am hungry '' I said and chuckled. ''offfoo come on eat the dinner first '' she said breaking the hug.

''I just feel sad for Arya, I want to take care of her but I am engrossed with my business meetings. and tomorrow my schedule is so tight ''Priya said.

'' don't worry I will take care of her, I will take her to my office if she is not comfortable there I will drop her in my parent's home '' I said making her relax.

after having dinner we both checked her if she is sleeping or not. thank god she is sleeping, some days we used to have no sleep due to her constant crying all night.

we went to our bedroom which is right beside Arya's.

'' we will take a break for a week and just go out for a trip, what do you think '' I said to Priya who was looking tired. ''that's a great idea '' she said and laid on the bed beside me and hugged me.

''good night Arjun '' she mumbled. ''good night love '' I said and we both slept in each other's embrace.

Priya's p.o.v

''what's necessary for this bhai '' I asked Madhav bhai who brought a lifetime supply of chocolates for Arya.

" I love mamu, " Arya said hugging Bhai who was already in his lap.

"Bhai how is savi '' I asked him. savi is 5 months pregnant.

''can't handle her mood swings actually '' he said and we laughed.

''Arya be a good girl don't annoy savi Mami and mamu okay?'' I told her.

''my Arya is a good girl she will never annoy us '' bhai said and I chuckled at their cuteness.

''bhai she is allergic of ... '' I was about to say but was cut off by bhai.

''she is allergic to peanuts I know, we removed every peanut item don't worry ''he said assuring as I smiled.

''Okay, I will leave Priya, all the best for the meeting '' bhai said, I nodded my head.

''common champ let's go '' bhai took Arya to his house as Arjun was very busy at work.

''bye princess '' I said as she gave a huge smile.

as soon as they left I went to my office. I cancelled all the meetings of last week this week is going to be tough. bhai and savi handled everything in the office when i was pregnant with Arya.

authors p.o.v

that day was tiring to both Arjun and Priya yet it was not completed for them before seeing their little Arya.

Priya wasn't able to concentrate on her meeting because she was bothered about Arya, yet she gave her best.

she just wants to see her baby and rest in her husband's arms after going to her house.

after she reached her home she saw arjuns car already parked. she went inside the house to see Arjun carrying Arya on his shoulder and cooking something.

''What are you guys doing in the kitchen '' she asked leaning on the entrance of the kitchen.

''We are making dinner for momma '' Arjun said and Arya laughed.

hearing her daughter laughing was so soothing to Priya. she went inside the kitchen.

''I love you guys '' Priya said engulfing a hug to Arjun who was carrying Arya . ''we love you too Priya, isn't it champ '' Arjun said.

''yeshhhhhhh'' Arya said and giggled to which they both laughed.

''guess what ladies '' Arjun announced.

'' We are going on a trip next week '' Arjun shouted.

''woahhh '' Priya shouted in excitement.
