《The Blood Queen》The End

"What curse?" Dominic growls grabbing Helena by her throat.
"I'm so sorry" Helena sobs.
All this time it was her. The woman who 'blessed' my marriage. The woman who I cried to when I lost my children. The woman who I ran to when the old Queen starting taunting me. And the only woman I'd confided the truth in when I ran away.
"Everyone out!" Dominic demanded and his voice rang throughout the room. No one moved until Dominic turned his eyes on the crowd. Instantly people started disappearing. All that was left was Roman, Thaddeus, Theodore, Charlie, Henley and I.
"You should go" Roman says coming up beside me.
"No. She's not going anywhere" Dominic snarls. He was still holding Helena by her throat and her sobs cut through the air. I felt so frozen.
"Loosen your grip Dominic" Charlie says placing a hand on Dominic's arm. Thaddeus and Theodore grab the witches arms and hold her in place.
"What curse?" Dominic asks releasing her throat and falling back. He was seconds from turning. And even closer to ripping her throat out.
I still couldn't move. It was as though I was held in place. Henley got off the stage and grabbed on to my arm.
"To never bear and heir. You're mother wanted the line to end with her. After you sentenced her to death" Helena choked out.
"You started the storm" I whispered. "You were lying weren't you?" I say louder stepping towards Helena and Henley's grasp falls from my arm. "You wanted me to believe Dominic was next" I say with tears forming in my eyes.
Everyone in the room faltered with shock as I steppe don the stage. Everyone except Dominic. He wouldn't look at me as he kept his eye locked on Helena.

"Vienna?" Theodore croaked out in shock.
"I'm going to rip your throat out" Dominic snarls and Charlie struggles to hold him back.
I stepped on to the stage in front of Dominic with my eyes locked on Helena.
"Were the whispers real?" I ask and Helena sobs as she shakes her head no.
"It's the ruby from your wedding ring. The one in the pendant" Helena chokes out crying and I look down at the pendant on my neck.
"What is going on Alina?" Henley asks with fear in her eyes.
"Alina is Vienna and Vienna is Alina, is everyone caught up now?" Dominic growls. I glance back at Henley before stepping towards Helena and grasping the pendant on her neck.
"Leave" I say and I can feel my power again as I tear off the pendant on her neck and she falls to the ground gasping as she ages in a second to a frail old woman. Without her pendant she was nothing. Without mine I'd be myself again. "Now" I demand and she runs off holding her throat.
"You should have let me kill her" Dominic growls as Charlie lets him go. I crush her pendant in my hand and let the pieces fall to the floor. Dominic steps towards me and his eyes fall on the pendant around my neck. "Are you going to take yours off now?" He asks.
"Alina has really grown on me" I say with a teasing smile and tears started to form in my eyes.
"I want my wife back" Dominic says stepping closer to me until he is close enough to touch.
"I'm not the same person you knew" I whisper and he smiles at me.
"Neither am I" He says grasping my pendant. "So what do you say we get rid of our castle. Give the newly weds their crowns. Build that cabin by the waterfall and go on a date?" He asks with a light in his eyes.
"Usually a date comes before we move in together wouldn't you say?" I tease and he places his hand under my chin and tilts my head up.
"We don't do 'usually'" Dominic teases and tears off my pendant while he draws me in for a kiss.

Where Giants Fall
A fantasy LitRPG about traversing through worlds and slaying giants with nothing but a wooden suit and an army of treants. Nicholas Atkins didn't expect to wake up naked in the glowing woods. What he did expect was waking up to a hangover after last night's party- fortunately, that wasn't the case. Unfortunately though, he had worse problems to take care of than a headache. At first he blamed it on the alcohol; from what he recalled in Biology, glowing flowers didn't exactly exist in the realm of reality. However he was as sober as he could be, so next he blamed the drugs, but there was a problem- he didn't have the money to do drugs in the first place. When the fairies came, things became even weirder. Talks of climbing towers, magic tricks, and dinner were all on the table. Of course, dinner was the priority, but so was getting back home. However slowly, Nico realized that he might actually want to stay in this fantasy world. After all, he's had enough listening to Professor Paul's lecture on calculus- the swords and sorceries were just an added bonus. Still, staying in this new world has its own costs- and money is but one thing on that long, long list. Updated everyday except Saturday GMT+8 (Specific time varies by around 30 minutes).
