《Wolfwalkers (DNF Version)》The Wolfwalkers

George looked at the farmer as the farmer invited him home. Both walked as George heard kids giggling and music playing
The farmer unlocked his house and both entered as George noticed it was similar to his home, but smaller
"By the way, I'm Dale, and you?" "I'm George," the brunette said as Dale placed water in a kettle and left it to boil as he sat down
: You know, that giant wolf you saw is no ordinary one
: So is it like the leader?
: In a way, yes. What you just saw, my boy, is a Wolfwalker
George gasped, "Wolfwalker?" Dale nodded, "Oh yes! They're bigger than the original wolves you've seen! They also have wild magic!"
: Magic?
: Of course! They heal and they can command wolves! That's how they're able to have a pack
: What about eyes? It had green ones
: *gasp* NO!
: WHAT?!
: I'll tell ye, I think you found the son of the Wolfwalker
: The son?
: Yes! Long time ago, I was herding the flock away as wolves attacked me! I thought I was done for, but a woman came and the wolves were behind her! She healed me, but as she looked at me, she was holding a boy, with the brightest of green eyes!
: Oh wow!
: Yeah! I am no longer against these wolves! I want them to come. I have a feeling they want peace, or they need a place to stay
: Wow!
: I'll tell ye, if you meet the wolf again, talk to it! I promise you, if you have no weapon and be yourself to it, you might befriend the Wolfwalker
George smiled and heard the kettle wheezing. Dale made coffee and handed George a mug and filled it with hot chocolate
Both sipped as Dale continued, "If Lord Techno harms those Wolfwalkers, we're in for Hell! They shouldn't be messed with!"

George stayed silent. Phil and Lord Techno are close friends, but does Phil know the man in front as a friend or a tyrant
George thanked the man and left to go back home. He kept thinking about what the farmer had said
So I spotted a Wolfwalker? George thought as he was snapped back to reality at hearing kids chanting a song
George walked away and found his house. He opened the door and noticed no one was home. He grabbed his bow and quiver and went towards the gates
He created a small distraction as the guards turned and George slipped out
Once out, he walked in the forest again and placed an arrow on his bow as he held it down and looked around
He could hear a waterfall running down and the trees brushed through the wind as George gulped and heard the snap of a twig
He turned to see a wolf as it growled. He backed away as the wolf jumped at him. He dodged and ran off as he heard it howl, calling the others
The brunette ran faster as he heard the howls of the wolves getting louder, than silent. He ran further into the forest and panted as he noticed he was nowhere he recognized
Oh no! I'm lost! he thought as he looked around, hearing the steps of the wolves drawing closer to him
He found a lake and swam away as he felt current pull him away. He gasped and thrashed his arms as he noticed the wolves stopping and sniffing
The current flowed as he followed it and finally swam out. He was breathing hard and noticed one of his father's traps
I'm close! he thought as he smiled and heard footsteps. He saw his father placing a beartrap down and walked away as George sighed

He decided to follow him back, but felt a weird feeling. He felt as if someone was watching him. He turned around and noticed a giant cream wolf with white on its legs
George panicked as he backed away. The wolf drew closer and George stepped away and drew his bow, making the wolf walk closer and flinch a little
"STAY BACK!" George exclaimed as the wolf didn't obey. "Easy, wolf," George shuddered as the wolf made him walk back further
George felt something grab his ankle and screamed as he was lifted from the ground. "Fuck!" he cursed as he noticed below him was the giant wolf as it lolled out its tongue and had a stupid smile
"God, fucking, ugh!" George struggled to lift himself to the rope as he was swinging. The wolf barked and began to pounce up to his leg
George knew it wasn't its highest jump, because this wolf looks like it can jump higher than the regular ones
George thrashed his arms as he also punched and kicked the wolf. It jumped as it snapped its jaws at his leg
"GO AWAY!" he screamed as the wolf yelped or whimpered when the human hit him. He made a final jump, but George had his arm on the rope, causing the wolf to bite his arm instead of the rope

The Ruined Monks of Rothfield Monastery
Erin is the youngest member of the dark monks; a supernatural brotherhood whose ultimate mission is to improve the dire circumstances of poor, war-torn villages using powers unique to each member. Or so he was led to believe. Erin, like his brothers, does not age, and that is, unfortunately, the only trait he shares with them. He cannot charm or compel like Woodrow, he cannot cast illusions like Knox, he was not swift like Swithin, not powerful like Blake. He was barely an assistant to his dear brother Wilbur, with his herbology and alchemy. He was told to lie low and make himself scarce. That is what he did. The dark monks temporarily reside in abandoned monasteries scattered around the country, feeding the poor and healing the sick, nurturing the monastic lands until it was fertile enough to raise crops and rear animals. As the years passed, they would leave these reformed, repopulated, self-sustaining monasteries and venture froth to help the next settlement. Yet, after years of toiling and quiet servitude, Erin notices that people and the country itself are declining. The villagers look gaunt, the once-lush soil now barren and cracked. He begins to feel disheartened, thinking that their mission is proving futile. Still, their leader Blake is steadfast and charges onward, and lately has his eyes set on a certain monastery in a thick, thorned forest that seems to diminish, even nullify their powers. A thick forest that Erin somehow has a connection to. A thorned glade where an ethereal voice calls his name with one simple request along with a promise:Heal the land, child. Heal the land and I promise to give you sanctuary so long as you stay. I promise to nurture you as you nurture me. As Erin cultivates the land, the land, in turn, gifts all its caretakers with new, enhanced skillsets on top of their unique powers -- skills of protection, healing, and magic. Magic. Erin had long wished to see the world fill with it again. The people, regardless of common or noble blood, still believe that magic will enter this world again. Magic to bless the king like it did the Saints. Magic to dispel the miasma befouling the world. Magic to bring back the fae folk and their many forms. It is up to Erin to forge the many paths leading to a bright future; to build a prosperous paradise that welcomes all races and bloodlines, by mastering the rewards gained through agriculture, horticulture, and animal husbandry, smithing, crafting, and fishing. Erin may also find a lifelong friendship and romance with his neighbor, Claude, if he decides to pursue him, and may even join him in the military campaign outside the monastery. The darkness still lurks outside, after all, and the mastery of his skills, along with a few good friends, may finally be enough to turn the tide in their favor. Most of all, Erin wants to keep the vow he set for himself: to protect everyone and everything he loves until his dying breath.
