I believe in solemates and let my head run wild about romance and who was going to be the one for me.

"Y/n" someone called my name, "Y/n!!"

I snapped out of my trance and looked up. My teacher was staring me down and then started laughing.

"Uh sorry I zoned out" I laughed and so did everyone else. I wasn't popular in school but I wasn't unknown either.

"Its fine I was just teasing you" she laughed and then sighed. "Class I hope you guys have a great summer and don't forget me, I'm expecting birthday gifts over the summer" she laughed. The class was looking around in this awkward moment.

Ringgggg

"Finally" I whispered to myself and stood. Summer break has officially started!

I grabbed my backpack from my locker and ran down the hallway. I didn't care if people wanted to say goodbye, I just wanted to get home.

I ran out the front doors and started walking home. My house was about a ten minute walk, 8 if you ran.

I walked to apartment complex and the owner of the walked out of my parents apartment. I flashed her a smile and walked in.

"How was school Y/n" my mom asked me, her face was red and I knew she was crying.

"What did Amanda want" I asked. Amanda was the owner and she didn't like my parents at all.

"She told us she will be kicking us out" my dad sighed from the kitchen.

"Ted we weren't going to tell her" my mom yelled and covered her face.

"Well she was going to find out anyway" he yelled back, clearly food in his mouth.

"Where will we go" I asked.

"Well me and your father will be going to your aunt and you know how she feels about you, so you will have to go to your brothers house" she told me, looking at her phone.

My aunt hated me cause when my mother was pregnant she did some ritual thing and said that I was going to be a boy. When I was born she got mad and told everyone I was a witch or even the devil myself. When I got a little older I would mutter fake words that I made up to freak her out. Oops lol.

I went to my bedroom to go pack my suitcase. I assumed my brother was already informed about our living situation, so I tried going to sleep thinking about something else.

"Wake up Y/n we have to get you out of here by tomorrow because your aunt wants us at her place early" my dad told me and shook me awake, "that woman's crazy, we got the short end of the stick!"

I laughed at my fathers joke and got out of my bed.

"Love you" he smiled.

"Love you too" I smiled back and he left.

I made my bed for the last time and put on an outfit that was laid out.

I went over to my mirror and took a picture for my Instagram.

You're so pretty!!!

I smiled at the comment and grabbed my suitcase from the corner of my room. I wheeled it into the living room where my parents luggage already was.

I've lived in this apartment my whole life so it was going to feel really weird to leave it behind.

"Okay we're going to drop you off at the train and we will then go to your aunts house" my mom told me, a sad smile plastered on her face.

We all took one last look at the place and left to the car.

We started driving and to my surprise it started raining. I watched the little droplets running down the window slowly becoming bigger. I felt dumb because I held a little race in my head about which droplet was going to win.

I sighed and watched them as the radio hummed a familiar song.

Soon enough we were at the train station and my parents sent me a picture of my online ticket.

I got out of the car and grabbed my luggage. I hugged my parents as tight as I could.

"Tell aunt Katie I said hi" I giggled trying to keep myself happy.

My parents laughed and slightly pushed me back to get on the train.

I walked up and showed them my ticket before getting on and finding a seat. I waved to my parents from the window and the train started moving slowly.

England here I come I thought, excited to see my brother.

*time skip*

the train screeched.

"All passengers please exit the train" a happy female voice yelled into the intercom.

I grabbed my bags and ran out to the door. I exited and looked around. I didn't see my brother so I assumed I would have to walk to his house.

I sighed and started walking through the rain.

After about 20 minutes of trying to figure out where his house was I found it!

I walked up to the front door and smiled.
