"Do you think this is a good place to set up?" Sam asked as we stood in this giant corridor. "Yeah, this should be fine." Colby said as I nodded in agreement.
"I'm not sleeping, I don't know about you guys." Daisy said as I shrugged, "I'll protect ya, Dais." I said and grinned at her as she rolled her eyes playfully. "What are you gonna do, hit the ghosts with your cast?" She asked as I laughed.
"That was the plan." I said and swung that arm dramatically. "You're a dork." She said as Colby came up and wrapped his arm around my waist, "Wanna come with me to get the other equipment from the entrance?" He asked as I smiled and nodded.
"Perfect." He said then took my hand, leading me towards the entrance of the building. "How are you feeling?" He asked as I shrugged, "better than I was out in the cemetery." I said and looked around.
The sun was setting causing these beautiful beams of light to shine through the abandoned hallway. "That's good, are you gonna be okay tonight? I'm a little worried about you." He said and squeezed my hand gently.
"I'll be fine, I'm a big girl who can handle a little ghost or two." I said as he grinned. He stopped and pulled my arm, spinning me around so my back would be pressed up against the wall.
Before I could ask what he was doing, he was leaning in to press his lips against mine. I grinned and cupped his cheek as his hands wrapped around my waist so they could sit on my ass.
I moaned slightly as he pulled me closer to him. We made out for a couple minutes before I pulled away, "We have to get back before they come looking for us." I said as he let his eyes trace my features.
"You're beautiful." He mumbled as I smiled, "I know, now come on." I said then held my hand out for him to take. "So, do you know why your fans are freaking out on me?" I asked as we walked.
"You're a female that was breathing the same air as me." He said as I huffed out a breath, "Daisy isn't getting hate though." I said as he shrugged. "I haven't really looked into it but maybe those fans saw you and I holding hands at the store." He said as I frowned.
"We have to be more careful." I said with a sigh as we got to the main lobby area where we had our stuff. "I hate that we do. We don't have much time together, I hate that we can't just be together without the world ending." He said as I put the backpack on my back.

"It's not fair that you have to live like this. It's gotta be frustrating." I said and took his hand again. "It is. I like what I do and I love all of my supporters, but sometimes I just wish I could do things without hurting thousands of people's feelings." He said quietly as I bit my lip and looked at him.
"If they really supported you, they would want you to be happy." I said quietly as he nodded. "They do, I know they do, but I think they forget that I'm human too." He said as I stopped and hugged him. "I'm so sorry that happens to you." I whispered as he chuckled and wrapped his arms around me.
"I feel worse for you, though. You don't deserve that." He said and rocked me back and forth a couple times. "Eh, words can't really hurt me. Actions hurt. Mean words are just insecurities being projected onto another person." I said and pulled away so we could walk back to the corridor.
"You're really sexy, and really smart. You know that right?" He asked as I laughed, "That's an opinion, and if it's your opinion, then thank you." I said as he nudged me with his shoulder, "you're a dork." He said and I shrugged, "Now THAT I did know." I said and smirked at him.
When we got back to the corridor Daisy was typing on her phone and Sam was messing with the camera.
"Great, you're back. It's getting dark so we need to get started." Sam said as I nodded and pulled the backpack off of my back. "What are we doing today, Mr. Golbach?" I asked as he chuckled.
"Well, I was thinking we could go back to the woman's wing, we didn't spend much time there and it's the most haunted area in the whole building. Would you girls be okay with that?" He asked as I nodded. "Yep! I already have a broken arm, what else could they do?" I asked with a laugh and held up my arm.
"We also need to go to on the roof at some point, we're gonna be here all night so I think we'll have enough time." Sam said as I nodded, "can we watch the stars while we're up there?" I asked and chewed my lip as Colby grinned at me. "That sounds fun." He said as Daisy finally looked up.
"We doing this?" Daisy asked as Sam and Colby set up. "Are you getting hate or something?" I asked her quietly as she shook her head, "nope, why?" She asked as I shrugged, "You're just on your phone a lot today." I said as she shook her head. "Oh. Just catching up." She said then walked off towards the guys.

Once the guys were all set up we made our way to the woman's wing. "So the woman's wing is the most haunted area of the asylum because the woman were treated the absolute worst. You could be admitted for anything here, like irregular periods and cramps." I explained as we made our way there.
"Yeah, woman would also be sexually assaulted by the men who were in the asylum and would get pregnant from time to time. That's why Lilly the little girl ghost is here." Sam added on. "Wait, so she was born here?" Daisy asked as I nodded. "Yeah she lived her entire life in these halls." I said as Daisy frowned.
"That's so sad!" She said as a chill ran down my spine. It felt like someone was watching me all of the sudden. I paused and turned around, looking at each doorway.
"Are you okay, Vi?" Colby asked as I nodded, but kept looking at the doorways. "Come on." Daisy said then pulled me away so we could keep walking.
"Help us." A woman's voice said causing me to flinch. "Woah, did you see something?" Sam asked as I shook my head. "No, why?" I asked as he pointed to my cheek, "You're crying." He said as I wiped my cheek.
"God damnit! No, I'm fine." I said with a sigh. "What's going on?" Sam asked as I shrugged. "I think we should do a seance." I said as Colby stopped to look at me.
"You actually want to do a seance?" He asked as I nodded. "I think it's going to be the only way we can save these spirits." I said as Daisy chewed her lip. "I don't know if I'm comfortable with that." She said as I shook my head.
"You don't have to do it Dais, we can put a salt circle around us and you don't have to participate." I said and put my hand on her arm. "Okay." She said then took a step away from me.
"Are you okay?" I asked and scrunched my brow at her, "yeah, you're just freaking me out." She said as I frowned, "oh..sorry." I said then put my hands in my pockets.
"We should do the seance closer to 3." Sam said as I took a step up towards him. "Okay, that's fine. Do you have the stuff for it?" I asked as he nodded. "Candles, salt, and energy? We're good." He said causing me to grin. "Perfect." I said then smiled over at Colby.
We walked around and filmed for hours, stopping every hour for a couple minutes to drink water and eat snacks. I still had this horrible feeling that something was watching me but I tried to ignore it since we were having a successful night so far.
It was 2:45am so it was time to set up for the seance. Daisy walked off to sit against the wall on her phone as the guys and I set up. "Dais are you gonna come sit with us or do you want your own salt circle?" I asked as she looked up. "Oh, I'll sit with you guys." She said as Sam set up the candles and Colby set up the camera.
"Okay, come here then, we're gonna start in a minute." I said and opened the salt. She got up and walked over, sitting between Colby and I.
I got up and made a salt ring around us as Sam lit the candles. "Okay, so I'm not really sure how this works but we need to all grab hands." Sam said as I nodded and reached for his hand. I looked over awkwardly at Daisy since I would have to reach over her to hold Colby's hand.
"Fine, I'll just do the damn seance." She said then took my hand and Colby's hand. "It's gonna be okay, Dais." I said and squeezed her hand as best as I could with my casted hand.
"Okay, I guess we should just channel all of our energy." Sam said and closed his eyes. We sat in silence for a minute, trying to focus our energy on contacting something.
After a few minutes I felt the overwhelming sadness fill my chest again. "Lilly?" I whispered but kept my eyes closed. I heard a little girl giggle causing Daisy to flinch.
"How can we help you? Please tell me." I whispered as I started to sob. "Holy shit, Vi. We can stop if you need to." Colby said with concern lacing his voice.
"I'm fine. I just need her to tell us how to help her." I whispered and closed my eyes as hard as I could. "We should pull out the ghost box." Sam said and reached for his backpack.
The ghost box went rapidly scanned through radio stations giving the spirits an opportunity to manipulate the noises into words.
"Lilly, are you here?" I asked and stared at the box. "Help us." Came through the box. "How? Please tell us how!" I exclaimed and looked up at Sam as Daisy trembled next to me. "Bad man." The box said causing me to shiver. "Bad man?" Colby repeated with confusion.
"Who's the bad man?" I asked as Sam squeezed my hand. "He's coming." The box said as my heart started to race.
Just then all of the candles went out, causing Daisy to scream.
"Violet! Stop talking to it!" Daisy yelled as I trembled.
"Go away." I mumbled as the camera's light turned off, leaving us in the pitch black.
