I woke up in Colby's arms as the sun shined through the blinds. I could tell Colby was still asleep by the way he was breathing, which I thought was adorable. I couldn't understand how someone could be so attractive just by sleeping.

I turned in his arms so I could face him. I knew that I needed to get up but I really didn't want to. I wanted to just lay in bed with Colby all day, watching movies.

I was really excited for the party we were having though.

I watched him for another minute then gently caressed his cheek. His face relaxed even more as I smiled. "Love you." I whispered then kissed his cheek and carefully rolled out of bed.

It made me laugh how heavy of a sleeper Colby was. I feel like I could have lit up fireworks in our room and he would still be asleep.

I went to the closet and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and put them on before leaving the room and going to the kitchen.

Everyone was still asleep but I wanted to make breakfast since we had a long day ahead of us. My dad always told me the best way to start the day is with a good breakfast.

I wanted to make hashbrowns, eggs, pancakes, bacon and toast so I had a lot of work ahead of me. I pulled out the ingredients then got to work. It felt good to be able to cook by myself and with no distractions.

It was very therapeutic.

I got about halfway through before someone came into the kitchen. "Aw babes! You're making me continental breakfast?" Ki said as I laughed and rolled my eyes. "Shut the fuck up. How do you like your eggs?" I asked and slid her a glass of apple juice.

"Scrambled is fine." She said and took a sip of her drink. "Are you ready to get fucked up tonight?" She asked as I turned to the bacon I was making. "Oh yeah, I was born ready." I said and cracked my knuckles.

"Something smells good." Sam said as he came in the room with Kat. "Eat up. We have a long day today." I said as I set the bacon on the counter. "So many people are gonna be here, it's gonna be insane." Sam said as he got Kat some water.

"I'm so excited! I can't wait to meet my future boyfriend." Ki said as Kat laughed. "If you find a boyfriend then you have to move here. That's the rule." She said as I nodded. "She's right." I said as Corey and Colby came into the room.

"Damn, Violet! Why are you so amazing." Corey said as Colby came over and kissed my cheek. "Oh, stop it. Anyone can make breakfast." I said and rolled my eyes as Tara came in.

"Hey friends!" She said and skipped over to sit next to Kat. "Good morning! Here's some pancakes." I said and slid them to her then turned to the hashbrowns, watching them as they finished browning.

I tried to focus on cooking as everyone started discussing party details.

It's not that I didn't care about the party, it's just that I didn't need much to have fun. Just my friends, my boyfriend, and some alcohol.

I finished breakfast then set the hashbrowns out as Jake came into the room. "Good morning, princess." Colby teased as Jake grumbled and sat down. I grinned and sat next to Ki as she turned from her conversation with Kat.

"Thanks for breakfast, V. You really didn't have to make this much food." She said and leaned her head on my shoulder. "It's what I do." I said with a laugh.

I loved being able to cook and have a purpose in the house since I still felt so bad that I was basically living here for free. I forced Sam and Colby to take my money every month but they were always fighting me on it.

I felt like such a freeloader.

We sat around and ate breakfast then cleaned up the kitchen. We woke up pretty late so the girls were already talking about getting ready for the party, even though it was still so early.

"I think I'm gonna shower, then we can get ready in my room." I said and grabbed my phone before getting up. "Okay! We'll meet you in there in 30 minutes." Ki said as I nodded and left the room.

I went into my room then walked to the bathroom, only to run into Colby on the way. "Hey, beautiful." He said and put his hands on my waist. "Hey." I said with a smile as he kissed me.

"I have to shower." I mumbled against his lips as he chuckled. "The party isn't for at least 6 hours though." He said as I shrugged. "Maybe it takes 6 hours for me to get ready." I said then winked and walked away.

I took my time in the shower, really letting the hot water relax my muscles. I was really excited for the party but part of me was a little nervous about it.

It's been a really long time since I went to an actual party, so I was a little rusty.

Once I finished my shower I went into my room only to see the girls sitting on my bed. "We thought you drowned." Ki said with a laugh as I rolled my eyes playfully and went to my closet.

"Are we really getting ready this early?" I asked as Tara snorted. "No of course not, we just don't want to have to set up." She said as I grinned and turned to her. "Smart." I said then pulled out some comfortable clothes.

"So, who's doing my makeup? I want to look HOT." Ki said as I got changed. "I can do it if you want." I said as she giggled and bounced up and down on the bed.

We spent the next couple hours watching movies and goofing off. We eventually started getting ready since it was getting close to the time of the party.

I did Ki's makeup to perfection before I did my own. It honestly felt good to get all prettied up since it had been a while since I did.

I put my hair into space buns and pulled some pieces out to frame my face. For my makeup I did gold eyeshadow then smoked it out with some black and did a cat eye. My outfit consisted of a short black dress that had star detailing on the skirt. The neckline plunged down, showing my cleavage.

I felt really pretty.

"Holy shit, we look hot." Tara said as we all looked in the mirror. She was right, we did look really hot. "Let's go get drunk!" Ki said and pulled me out of the room.

We took so long to get ready that there were people already here. "Let's do shots." Ki said as I nodded. "I think there's no better way to start a party then with shots." I said then led the way to the kitchen.

"Holy shit." Colby said as we walked in. "You like it?" I asked and twirled as he looked me up and down. "I love." He said then pulled me in and kissed me. I melted against his lips for a second before pulling away.

"Do a shot with us?" I asked as he nodded. "Of course." He said then led me towards the alcohol.

"Pick your poison." I said to Ki as she scoped out her options. "Tequila." She said as I nodded. "Oh we're getting FUCKED up." I said as she grabbed the shot glasses and poured the tequila into them.

"To our first LA party!" I said as we raised our glasses. The shot was absolutely disgusting but I already wanted to do another one, eager to feel the effects of it.

I grabbed the tequila bottle and poured another shot and downed it before turning and grabbing a white claw to chase it. "Damn, V." Colby said as I chuckled and shrugged then linked my arm through Ki's and walked towards the living room.

"Let's dance." I said then took a sip of my white claw as some Ariana Grande song played on the speakers. We danced for a while before the living room filled up with people. Ki and I took a couple more shots so I was really starting to feel it now.

"Babyyyy." I said as Colby came over and wrapped his arms around me. "You're drunk." He said with a laugh as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "No, you." I said then pressed my lips to his as I swayed my hips. He grinned against my hips and squeezed my ass. I giggled then pulled away so we could keep dancing.

We danced for a while before Devyn and Kat pulled me away to take more shots. "Where's Ki?! She should be here!" I said and looked around. "I think she's busy." Kat said and pointed to the corner of the room. She was pressed against the wall, making out with some blonde dude.

"Wooo! Get it babe!" I yelled then took the shot that Kat handed me. This shot hit me so fast that the room spun slightly. "Where's Colby?" I asked myself and started to make my way outside.

My ears were ringing slightly as I looked around the back yard, trying to find Colby. It had been a while since I had seen him and I missed him.

"Violet?" Jake asked as I stumbled towards the fire pit. "Have you seen Colby?" I asked as he shook his head. "No, I haven't. I think he's inside though." He said as I nodded and turned to go in again.

I walked around the house for a little while before I finally found Colby. He was dancing with a really pretty brunette, which caused the jealousy in me to skyrocket.

When I walked up he turned to me and smiled. "Hey! V, this is Amber! She's been dying to meet you." He said as the girl turned to me with a huge smile on her face.

"Oh my god! You're even prettier than Colby described!" Amber said and gave me a hug as I calmed down a little bit. She seemed sweet and uninterested in Colby.

"Thank you!! You're literally gorgeous, I'm jealous." I said and giggled as she smiled widely. "You're the cutest! I'm so happy we finally got to meet, Colby talks about you all the time." She said as I smiled. "I hope he says good things." I said as a blonde girl came over.

"Hey, Amber...Brennen was looking for you." She said and pointed over towards the movie room. "Oh, okay. It was nice meeting you, Violet! Let's get lunch some time." She said as I nodded. "Sounds good." I said then stepped closer to Colby as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Aw, Colbs! Are you gonna introduce me?" The blonde asked as I scrunched my brow at her. "I guess. Violet, this is Jordan. Jordan, this is Violet." He said as she smiled.

Her name tickled the back of my mind as she held her hand out. "Nice to meet you." She said then looked at Colby again. I felt the jealousy boil up in me again as she put her hand on his arm.

"Thanks for inviting me, Colby. I'm so glad we've...reconnected after all these years. I've missed your sexy ass." She said with a smile as I clenched my jaw.

She was Colby's ex. The one the fans have been shipping him with. I tried to keep my cool as she twirled her hair, looking up at him as if I wasn't standing right here.

"Jordan!" Some redhead called out catching her attention. "Well, I'll see you later, Colbs. Nice meeting you, Vivian." She said and turned around before I could correct her.

As soon as she walked away I looked at Colby. "So that's your ex?" I asked and crossed my arms. "Yeah. I don't know why she showed up." He said as I rolled my eyes. "I don't know why you let her flirt with you like that." I said and crossed my arms as he shook his head.

"She wasn't flirting with me. Plus, you know I don't like her like that. Just relax." He said as I raised my brows. "Relax? You didn't even introduce me as your girlfriend." I said as he groaned. "She knows about you, V. Now calm down and don't worry about her." He said as I rolled my eyes.

"Fine. I'm gonna go find the girls." I said then turned and stormed off. I know this alcohol in my system was causing me to feel this way but it hurt that he didn't stand up for me when she called me the wrong name or that he didn't even try to show that I was his and he was mine.

I found myself getting worked up about it, which was the last thing I wanted tonight. I just wanted to have fun.

Where was Ki? I needed another drink.

I aimlessly walked around for a little while before I found her dancing with some random dude. She looked so happy as she ground her hips into his.

"V!! What's wrong? You look sad!" She said and reached her hands out to me so I could dance with her.

"Colby and I had an argument." I said then started dancing with her. "Aw! About what?" She asked as I sighed. "Come on let's get another drink, then I'll explain." I said as she nodded and stopped dancing so I could drag her to the bar area.

I took another shot then grabbed a white claw and put an extra shot of vodka in it before turning to the backyard so Ki and I could talk out there since it was loud in here.

"What happened?" Ki asked as we sat by the pool. "His ex started talking to him and he didn't even tell her that I was his girlfriend! She was flirting too, looking up at him as if I wasn't even there." I said then chugged my white claw.

"Point her out, I'll kill her." She said as I laughed. "I don't want to find her, she looks like a dog with dead blonde hair." I slurred as she laughed. "Was Colby flirting with the dog?" She asked as I shrugged.

"He didn't really have a chance to say anything before she got whisked away but he didn't correct her when she called me Vivian." I said as she sighed.

"He's probably drunk, V. I don't think he meant anything by it." She said as I rolled my eyes.

"I hate that you're always right. I should go apologize, shouldn't I?" I asked as she shrugged. "If you're sorry, then yeah." She said as I nodded. "Thanks, Ki. Did you get laid yet?" I asked as she giggled. "Mayyyyybe." She sang as we stood up. "As soon as I get back from apologizing to Colby I wanna hear all about it." I said then started making my way inside.

I looked around every room, trying to find Colby. I didn't see him anywhere but I did see Sam.

"Sam!" I called out as she smiled and looked at me. "What's up, dude?!" He asked as he danced to the music. "Have you seen Colby?" I yelled over the music. "Nope but it wouldn't surprise me if we was in his room by now. Parties get to him pretty fast." He explained as I nodded. "Thanks, Sam!" I said then turned towards the stairs.

I felt my heart beating out of my chest for some reason as I made my way to his bedroom door. "Don't be a pussy, Violet." I said to myself as I put my hand on the doorknob.

I took a deep breath then opened the door, only to see Jordan and Colby half naked in his bed.
