Azaron army returned without its commander-general to the capital where the monarch's funeral was held in all grandeur. Some said the beast was too wounded to come out, others that included the crown prince Alexander wished for him to die yet in reality no one was aware of what calamity was approaching.

The noble blood of Saintess Helixis and Emperor Heun was cruel and tyrannical and had such ambitions that it even made the goddess look down from heaven and wonder if she created that child. A person rising from the lowest will always have the greed to become the highest entity but what if that one person had hatred and resentment deep down their bones, they would not discriminate between friends and foes, those who will resist will be eradicated no matter the relations thus when Prince Azarios's servant visited Duke Selic's home it was all chaos.

Prominent five ministers loyal to Emperor Heun were made aware that their real monarch was missing and the one who was dead was his shadow guard. The men shuddered when the whirlwinds blew dangerously slow as if whispering sweet death symphonies into their ears thus they prepared to slowly retreat as soon as the new emperor will be appointed as crown prince Alexander.

They wished to retire from politics and even not let their children become an official, those who will remain disloyal this time would not be given an intact corpse. Once Emperor Heun had said that his throne shall belong to his youngest son and when that happens, Heun would announce to the entire world that Helixis was his yet in reality that time never came.

For now Prince Azarios's stature was reduced to absolutely nothing. No evidence to prove his imperial bloodline as his father was dead in the eyes of the world and his mother was declared the one to kill him.

"Duke Selic, your youngest son Seros is the sub-commander of the prince....has he delivered any information regarding his highness yet?"

Duke Selic did not have an answer to that question so he just sighed.

"Shall we ourselves go to the imperial court to submit the credentials of the third prince so that he can be recognized and have an equal opportunity in the battle to the throne? If that does not seem feasible then this official is not knowing of what to do."

Even if at present the men announced Azarios's identity so to gain people's recognition or told the commoners that their king was alive they would be declared as liars and traitors. Once the people knew the dirty secrets inside the imperial palace, the common mass would not worship emperor Heun anymore and that was indirectly bringing shame to the emperor, rebellions would rise as such and the third prince Azarios would lose more than he could benefit.

The Ministers have helped Emperor Heun in aiding Azarios when there was war, have seen the youngest prince grow up but have never imagined that one day this person would change their ways as such when they opened the letter sent by him.

Prince Azarios had once in innocence expressed his desire for throne in childhood yet the audacity did not end there, he had once told his imperial father- 'One day when imperial father wishes this son will not only rule Ambrose and Grevian but take Gaerin, Darrin and Daxtros under this one's wings- imperial father, this son will become the monarch of this mortal realm and then no one will stop father from staying with mother and I'.

Years have passed since the men have heard those words and laughed thinking it to be a wishful thinking of a child but the paper in Duke Selic's hands made the fingers tremble.

Emperor Heun wanted to give the throne to Azarios yet he refused any bloodshed.....now when the father was not there to restrain, the son would not follow the teachings any longer.

Enigmatic lunar eclipse disturbed the peaceful sleep of Empress Feyore who was wearing mourning clothes since her husband had passed just a day ago.

"Imperial mother! Empress mother!" Loud fearful voices called out the sleeping empress who was having a sweet dream of establishing her son as the monarch, waking her up from the stupor.

Emperor Alexander being a person that had never touched a sword refused to lead the small number of soldiers to the battlefield. The imperial army was incomplete without the Azaron army so now the question rose...where was the commander of Azaron army? Where was the young general when they needed him?
