20 years later

The air had a perfumed scent and the brunette sat on the plush seats. Every surface was dustless. The nurses were unhurried and they moved with a serene purposefulness from room to room on their rounds. There were vases of flowers and beautiful framed pieces of art on the walls. In the corridor was a water dispenser and in most rooms could be heard the noise of a television.

A lone tear escaped his hazel brown eyes as he flipped the last chapped page of the diary he held.

He then realised that he had already finished reading it but didn't notice the time passing by because it was already evening.

But the last page contained a piece of scraped paper which caught his attention. He wiped his tears gently before lifting the letter and opening it.

Its finally the day you find our diary my hoseokie. We still remember how curious and stubborn you used to be about us letting you read this but we knew that wasn't the right time.

Not the right time for you to know about your real parents or their cruel past. We couldn't afford to see a tear on your precious smiling face so we kept it away from you until the time we disappear. But remember hoseok ah, we, your grandma and grandpa really love you so much. We will always be there for you.

We couldn't see our son grow old with his family but we want you to fullfill our last wish. That no matter what, you will never give up. You will face your problems because we know you can. You are our strong little sunshine.

The brunette couldn't hold back his tears any longer. He hugged the diary and curled into his seat while letting out low wrecked cries.

It was overwhelming because it all came crashing to him yesterday. The worst day he would name it when he received a call, informing that his grandparents were involved in a car crash.

One car crash which took away his only family because he never knew his parents. That until today he read the diary in which the whole past was written.

"It will be alright hoseok ah. Everything is going to be okay." A soft voice said beside him as a hand landed on his shoulder. He looked up to see their family doctor looking at him pitifully.

He wiped his tears and just sniffled, letting out harsh breaths. Then it pressed on his mind.

He reopened the crinkled letter and read it again, skimming his eyes through the words.

His soft pink lips curved into a small smile which held thousands of emotions.

"You're right. Everything is going to be okay." He spoke brightly which amused the doctor beside him. She stared at him with confused eyes.

"...because this is only the beginning, not the end." He smiled as he quoted what So hyun told him all the time.

"I have to go! Bye Ms Jisoo!" He abruptly shot up from his seat as he yelled in enthusiasm, shocking everyone around him.

The woman didn't even have time to respond when she saw the young brunette fleeing out of the hostipal's corridor.

While running and panting, hoseok managed to pull out his phone from his back pockets and dial a contact.

"Hello? Hobi ah i am-

"Where are you?!" The brunette asked, trying to catch his breath but not deciding on stopping.

"I'm on my way back! Are you alright?! Do you need me there? I just entered banpo bridge-"

"Okay!" The brunette cut the call, not bothering to listen to the other's question.

He was thankful that he ran through the right direction and banpo bridge was right near to it.

The brunette ran. Not caring about the incoming muscle pain on his legs, his lungs running out of breath, his chest heaving more higher. He didn't care. He needed to get there and see the other.

He entered the huge, lightening bridge and brushed past the people on the sidewalk as he sprinted while his eyes roamed around, searching for a person.

He finally stopped when his gaze landed on the other, holding two plastic bags of grocery and walking towards him from the other side.

A 100 watts smile made its way on hoseok's face.

The other was about to react after noticing him and he ran and threw himself onto the other, engulfing him into a tight hug.

"Oof-!" The shorter male squeaked as he dropped the bags at the force implied on him.

"Hoseok?!" The other yelped, eyes widened in panic becausw he was worried about the brunette's state. He knew how much his grandparents mattered to him.

"I love you." The brunette exhaled sharply, whispering the words into his lover's ears.

The other blushed at the sudden confessiom but nonetheless a smile crept through his face.

"What?" He asked softly as he hugged the brunette back tightly, not caring if they are in a middle on a sidewalk.

"I love you Youngjae ah and thats all matters now." Hoseok's voice was brittle yet gentle.

"T-thats sudden...." Youngjae mumbled, flustered at the older's words.

"We're gonna live together! Grow old together! Share all the happiness together! We'll be together! I promise!"

Youngjae blinked in confusion and furrowed his eyesbrows.

"S-sure we will but why are you saying that now?" He asked, placing his chin on hoseok's shoulder.

Hoseok just smiled through his tears and stared at the diary he was was holding.

He took a huge breath and... threw is to his side, into the deep waters of han river.

He went back to hugging the other and wrapped his arms around his shoulder.

"Just felt like it." He mumbled and nuzzled into the his lover's embrace.

I promise halmeoni, hal-abeoji.... i promise.

"Taetae hyung! Tell me where are we going!"

Jungkook giggled and he stumbled as taehyung led him through the path while covering his eyes with his hands.

"Just trust me puppy. We are almost there." Taehyung whispered and smiled as jungkook relaxed in his hold.

They finally came to an halt and taehyung removed his hands from the younger's face.

Jungkook squinted his eyes to the surrounding and looked down.

His eyes widened at their location. A cemetery.

"Today is my Halmeoni's birthday." He muttered as he stared at the gravestone lovingly and jungkook stared at him.

"I wanted to introduce you to her." He finished and held the younger small hands in his.

"She was everything to me when i was a kid. Mom and Dad wasn't there for me due to their hectic family problems. She raised me. Thats why i broke when he passed away." Jungkook listened to him and stayed silent as he stared at the gravestone infront of them.

"And now i wanted her to see that i am finally happy." Taehyung said as he turned to look at the younger.

Jungkook blushed cutely when the lilac haired male nuzzled his head against his face.

Before taehyung could continue, the younger took a step forward.

"Good evening Halmeoni and Happy birthday! My name is Min Jungkook." The younger bowed and smiled at the stone while taehyung looked at him in amusement.

"Don't you worry! Kookie will take good care of taetae hyung! He won't let anything happen to taetae hyung!"

Gosh taehyung felt a hugeass cupid arrow stabbed against his heart when the younger spoke in third person, which he usually did when he's either very happy or very sad.

"You raised taetae hyung well." Jungkook's voice softened and so was taehyung's gaze on him.

"Come here baby." Taehyung called the younger as he sat on a big rock under a tree, not so far from his grandmother's stone.

"I love you." He whispered as he pulled the younger into his lap.

"And you're not allowed to leave me like halmeoni. Got it?" He asked sternly and jungkook smiled at his cute seriousness. "Because if you do, i will come with you. I can't live without you Min Jungkook, you hear me?" He placed his forehead on against the younger's who was blushing like a little cherry .

"But h-hyung, you shouldn't end your life for your loved ones-

"But there's no me without you. You fixed my broken self remember.... you're a part of me kook... so if you're gone, i'll break again."

Jungkook's eyes widened at his answer and the sincere glint in taehyung's dark eyes. He meant what he said and he wasn't gonna change his words.

"But it won't happen hyung! We will grow old together! I won't leave you." Jungkook muttered rubbing the older's shoulder convincingly.

"Yes cause you're all Mine." Taehyung husked and kissed the younger's nose then his cheek.

"We will all live together! You and me with miri and chopa! A-and joonie and jin hyung! And yoongi and jiminie hyung! We will all live happily together!" He started blabbering cutely and taehyung just hummed, staring at his beautiful face the whole time.

"W-we can have kids too!" He said shyly and the other raised his eyebrow.

"But you're already there though. Why another baby?"

Jungkook's eyes widened, offended.

"I-i am not a baby!" He squeaked with a angry pout and god taehyung was so whipped which he won't even deny.

"You're my baby and unfortunately the hyungs baby too." He said the last part grumpily with a tint of jealousy.

When he saw the the angry bunny pout still lingering the younger's face, he couldn't control himself sk he cupped jungkook's cheeks and peppered his face with kisses.

"H-hyung!" Jungkook squeaked, flustered and the older finally pulled after kissing his forehead lastly.

"Gosh i love you so much."

"I love you too taetae hyung."
