《Falling For Him. kth ✔》At The Dinner

He stood there blinking at me with an alien look. Even I froze since I couldn't process what had happened. And then he smirked. HE FREAKING SMIRKED. That was enough to bring me back to my senses.
"WHAT ARE YOU STARING AT YOU PERV!!!! GET OUT BEFORE I KICK YOUR BALLS!!!" I screamed as I threw a pillow at him. He caught it and started laughing and then left as he closed the door.
It wasn't even a minute since he went out. And again, the door opened. I saw only his head peeking in. The bastard then winked at me !!!! Okay, now I was goddamn pissed. "YAH!!!! KIM TAEHYUNG" I screamed to the top of my lungs.
I ran to the door holding my towel as though my life depended on it. As I reached the door he ran away.
God must really hate me, huh? Why did it have to be him? I face palmed myself as I processed the situation I was in.
I made sure that the door was locked properly this time. I went inside the bathroom and put on my hoodie and sweatpants. I didn't want to risk it this time.
Chaeyoung was still no where to be found. I desperately wished that she wasn't aware of my awkward incident with V.
It was 9 pm already. Chaeyoung entered the room with a sweet smile. So, either she doesn't know what happened or she is pretending that she doesn't know so that I don't feel uncomfortable. Either way I was fine until no one would talk about it.
Chaeyoung asked me whether I was ready to have dinner to which I agreed. We locked the door and made our way to the dining hall. I kept my cool and acted as though nothing had happened. I really wished that idiot was lost somewhere just like before.
But to my disappointment, he was sitting there around the table with Jimin and some other girls. Both, me and Chaeyoung walked towards the table. I tried my best to avoid eye contact with V.
You see, god finds great joy in torturing me. I was walking towards my seat past V and I tripped to the foot if his chair. He caught me by my waist before I could land on my face. I was bent almost to an angle of 90 degrees.
I stood up straight instantly. Without even looking at his face I mumbled a small thank you and swiftly ran to sit in one of the seats.

The only seat empty was the one which was opposite to that of his. I sat down and scanned everyone's expression except for his. All of them had a concerned expression first which eventually faded as they started to decide what they were going to order.
I started scanning the menu to avoid any eye contact with the guy sitting right across me. The food was actually reasonable. I was impressed by the prices of this hotel we were staying in.
As I was deciding what to order, I stole a quick glance at the person sitting across me. He looked like he had lost his soul. I got scared at the way he was looking blankly.
Wtf happened to this guy now? No one from around me had seen the look on V's face. I frowned and placed the menu, which was covering most of my face, on the table. I was literally scared to death!!!!
I was staring at him with a concerned yet terrified face with my head slightly tilted to one side. He then turned towards me and looked at me with the same expression. Although I widened my eyes he did not change his expression.
After a good 5 seconds he finally changed his expression. But what he did next really made me question his sanity. He gave me the weirdest smile wiggling his eyebrows.
What is this weirdo trying to do? What on earth is wrong with him? Why is he acting like this? He was creeping me out!!!!!
"So guys, everyone ready to order ?" Chaeyoung said as she slowly lifted her head from the menu gaining everyone's attention. I snapped my head towards her and then again looked at V. Fortunately his weird face was replaced by a kind smile directed towards Chaeyoung.
That is when I started questioning myself to whether this guy was sane .
Everyone ordered their meal for the evening. Since I was hungry as hell, I ordered a spaghetti, a pasta and also a salad. I was never shy of the fact that I have a heavy appetite. But to my advantage, I never gained weight even-though I ate like a monster.
I was wrong when I thought that I had ordered the most number of dishes; because the males sitting across me had literally ordered half of the menu. Maybe they starved themselves for a few days was the only explanation I could come up with.
Unlike me Chaeyoung was not at all surprised. She ordered a lobster and looked at me who was giving V and Jimin a questionable stare. She chucked and poked my arm to gain my attention. "Yes they eat a lot and its normal" she said with a sweet smile. I slowly gave an understanding nod.

The other girls who were sitting along with us were talking with Jimin. Well more like flirting with Jimin. Among the girls there was one face which was very familiar. She was the one, whom V had saved while we were on the ferry.
She was staring at something with a troubled face. I followed my gaze to the direction she was staring and guess who it was? V. But I froze at my spot because he was staring at me. No, correct that, He was smirking at me and yet again he winked. I stared looking all over the place except him.
"Hey, by the way, you two idiots checked out the view from the balcony?" Chaeyoung my savior spoke. I really wanted to hug her right now! "Uh-huh. I did. It is really something isn't it? A treat to the eyes~" Jimin said without even looking at Chaeyoung as he was busy being cheesy with the giggling barbies beside him.
"I've seen the view from your room. Sadly,it isn't as pretty as the view from our room" Chaeyoung said with a fake sorry face. "Right Y/n ?"she turned to me. I was going to respond but V beat me to it.
"I don think it could be better than what I saw a few minutes ago" he said looking at me seductively. That is when I realized that this boy is going to ruin the rest of my time during this trip.
"Oh! what did you see mister ?" Chaeyoung asked as she raised her eyebrows with curiosity. I looked at Chaeyoung with wide eyes and then back at V. I was waiting for him to start narrating the incident as I shifted my gaze to my lap and closed my eyes. To my surprise, he did not say what I was expecting.
"I took a walk along the shore near the hotel. The view was breathtaking" he said looking at Chaeyoung. I looked at him with confusion in my eyes. Is he really not going to reveal the secret encounter he had with me? I was grateful to him that he was understanding and not a senseless jerk at the moment.
"Look at this person!!! You should take us there too. Don't go around exploring the island alone. Promise me you will take us there too next time you go" Chaeyoung said with annoyance showing on her face.
"Sure, Drama Queen~" V said making Chaeyoung scoff as he gave me his box smile. I smiled back at him and mouthed a thank you when non one was looking. He nodded and turned to Jimin to ask him something.
The waiter then arrived with the food to our table. All of us savored our meals as we talked about what we would do the next day. We finished our dinner and headed to our respected rooms. It was already 11 pm when we were back. Both I and Chaeyoung drifted to sleep as we were exhausted.
***********************************
Next day I woke up at 8 in the morning to find the space next to me empty. Chaeyoung was already up and was showering in the bathroom as she sang 'bang bang bang' of Big Bang from the closed door. I slightly chuckled.
I got up and went to the balcony. The morning view was no less attractive than the night view. Now I could see the various shades of green covering the island. The morning breeze was refreshing
As I was enjoying the view, Chaeyoung came out of the bathroom and asked me to wash up get ready soon. I did as she said and in no time both of us were all dressed up.
I wore a white hoodie and black ripped jeans with a cute black beanie and white converse. Chaeyoung had put on a sleeveless white top and white ripped jeans. Both of us had let our hair loose.
We grabbed our side bags and headed to the lobby. V and Jimin had not yet arrived. Our respected tour guide started to tell us the list of places we were going to see. Chaeyoung tried to call them but they did not pick up the call. The tour guide gave us the brochures of a certain park we were going to today.
Chaeyoung was cursing at two boys who were no where to be seen.
I opened the brochure, curious about what was so special about the park and a gasp escaped my mouth. There were statues, many statues.......
of different sex positions.

NOVA INTERIT.US
It's 2063, and the town along with much of the nation are in disarray. The decay started years before the Great Event. Our town still had hope thanks to the five families, who'd created a blockchain based water distribution system for the locals, a valuable secret hidden from the Global Water Commission and their network of mercenaries. Earlier in the mid-2040's, right after the state secessions of Idaho, Montana, and Texas, the Global Council of Water Commissioners made their deals and moved into towns throughout the country. They called it "the integration." The Commission and their contractors integrated with municipal water departments, using their organized network to invade like parasites on local services. It all coincided with the 29th Amendment to the United States Constitution, later referred to as the Regional Trident Plan. Nova is a story about survival, power structures, the turning of relationships, and the networking between people and the systems to which they belong. It’s about A.I. blockchain possibility, and its potential for human betterment versus our detriment. It’s about the question of whether or not we need to be saved from ourselves, and by who or what? The Great Event at the end of the first chapter might just be what actually saves us. The epilogue will take place in 2517. This scene is fully sketched and the full arc of the novel is set. I expect to finish Nova Interitus by summer of 2023. This is realist hard-sci-fi dystopian fiction. I hope you find Nova to be a challenging and consuming story. This is not something I planned to write. It all came to me in a dream and I haven't been able to stop writing it. This Royal Road posting is basically a beta test with chapters and drafts to get some feedback and see if there's any readership for this narrative. For the full experience read Nova on Substack. I will be narrating a podcast version later this year there. https://novainteritus.substack.com/

The Shores of Dusk
A forgotten Realms Fan Fiction. This is the classic tournament-style story, with over a dozen diverse fighters vying for the top spot. The battle to the death is hosted by the most powerful mage in the realms who has unlocked the secret of immortality and gives eternal life to the winner. Drizzt and Entreri are in attendance and soon realize there are demons, mages, and other powerful beings using this event for their own personal gain. Desperate to not become pawns in this power play, they must work together and form alliances with the other fighters to survive. This story has no ties to any of my other Fan Fiction stories.

Papercuts to Fell Immortals
Qing Shen is a girl from the counrtyside, forced into a role she never wanted by a Young Master who's infamy is spread throughout the land. As a Cultivator in the path to immortality, Qing Shen has to deal with her own problems as well as the mysteries surrounding her Young Master. Things, however, are not as they seem, and the young girl finds that sometimes the truth is more unbelievable than the lies we often follow. . . . If you want a less hidden-meaning summary: This story is about the struggles of one girl as she tries to become an Immortal. There won't be any meaningful romance, but there will be a plot that spans most of the story, and violence. Oh the violence! I'm not going to say that my ideas are 100% original (because hoo boy are there a lot of Wuxia), but hopefully I can write something entertaining. Guaranteed things: 1. Cliche events with a twist (I mean, it's literally in the description) 2. Important Characters will have backstories and motivations that will hopefully make them not one-dimensional (honestly, that's just normal stuff...) 3. Untrustworthy characters (everyone in the story lies, even me, so don't trust everything you read... but at the same time, trust everything you read) 4. Goodish grammar (not gonna say mine's the best, but it's readable in most cases) 5. Plot! (Everywhere!) 6. worldbuilding? (Should be there somewhere, but I probably won't do blatant info dumps... probably) 7. Character development? (Its there... at some point...) 8. The story gets dark at some points (if you don't like characters dying, then this might not be your cup of tea) 9. A strong main character? (She'll be strong, yes. However, her enemies are also strong. If everyone is strong, then is she no longer strong? My brain hurts) 10. Wow, this list is going on for awhile... uh, Believable and reasonable Action? (I mean, I'm writing for mainly my fun, so if I want a fight scene, then I might craft a scenario to explain it... or I might suddenly throw in a Dragon and call it a day) This story also goes by the same name over on Webnovel.com, but I'm going to be updating it here because, well I want to. They are both by me, and created by me. If there's anything that seems like a copy of another work, then that's just the genre being saturated by everything under the sun.
